I love Frisch's Big Boy, and I was happy to find a location here while I am working in the area. This morning I enjoyed the breakfast bar which was clean and well stocked. It featured eggs, fried potatoes and hash browns, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, bacon, sausage, and much more. The salad and fruit bar was also available. My server was very personable and pleasant. The restaurant was clean and booths are comfortable.

A copy of their menu if you can read it sorry I was in a hurry I was hungry

First time in about six months that I have stopped here at Frisch's in Georgetown Ky. It was 11:30 am right at close to lunchtime me and my friend we ordered the bad boy platter he said it was great well I didn't care for. Ordered slaw it was good fresh along with french fries they was nice and crispy just the way I like them but the Bad boy does not hold a candle to the big boy which had ordered the big boy can't beat an old reliable sandwich like that service was good it was quick. The waitress was nice and friendly kept our glass bowl with refills. I recommend eating here if you're in Georgetown Kentucky. Did notice one thing or a few people was wearing mask employees and customers you could tell the people that was over 65 they had masks on.

    Impossible Big Boy

Impossible Big Boy sandwich... shocked when I removed the bun to see a patty smaller than the palm of my hand. I had to remove at least half of the bun in order to not eat a bread sandwich. Sandwich tasted good, but this should be called a Junior impossible Big Boy & they should have buns equivalent to the size of the plant based burger. Service & rest of order was perfect!

I guessed that this restaurant would have a breakfast buffet so we could get food fast and get back on the road.

The charm of old tables with mismatched chairs, even a bench made from an old bed headboard. The staff is great. Quick to answer questions and offer suggestions. The bar is huge. Bottles upon bottles. Then there is the food. Locally sourced and cooked to order. My mom ordered the catfish. It looked delicious and she ate every bite on the plate. My breakfast bowl was absolutely perfect! Potatoes roasted to perfection with awesome hot sausage with eggs cooked to order and covered in the best sausage gravy that I have ever had! Note: I love sausage gravy and have eaten it all over the country. Bravo to the chef! We will be back!

Arrived for my reservation, at lunch, and was seated immediately ( that is a plus - everything was looking good ). Waitress came to get drink order, only to realize she had failed to give us drink menu.Once that was resolved, drinks ordered and corn bread starter ordered. Cornbread delivered, drinks arrive. waitress was slow, kept saying she was new, she was tired, etc... Having been in the service industry, I understand, but not my problem. Here is when the meal went south... when we go to order, we are told no chicken, no steak. Only real options are the chicken and dumplings, sloppy joe, hamburger, meatloaf, ham or fish. Any other beef dish, or chicken dish is not available ( think half the menu ). Had we of known, before the drinks and cornbread, we might have left, as we had driven an hour for brisket and fried chicken. It was extremely disappointing. I went with the chicken and dumplings, as I don't eat fish, or beef, and can't eat pork products. I ordered a side of mashed potatoes and was told the chicken and dumplings came on a bed of mash - nope, apparently it does not. Expecting mash, I ordered carrots... guess what the chicken and dumplings come with carrots! So I got a bunch of carrots, no mash. The others in my party ordered the sloppy joes and both said they were okay, but not what they drove an hour to eat. In my opinion a restaurant, that is closed on Monday, should not be out of half of their menu items on Tuesday. I'd there are delivery issues, they had all day Monday to come up with alternate items, source other foods, etc.. Our waitress rarely came around, never offered refills, or asked how our meals were. At the end, she messed up our tickets so many times, that we finally just paid. I am no longer in a hurry to go to Local Feed and it will not be a place I drive an hour, to eat. To say it has gone downhill, is an understatement. PS - we spent roughly $175 (3 women, with drinks)

The atmosphere is super cozy and we felt welcomed from our first steps in. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and we met Michaela who took fabulous care of us for the evening! We settled in to a couple of their specialty cocktails (midwinters night dream and cardamaro manhattans - yummy I'll say) and the Brussel Sprout starter. Let me say to come hungry because the portions are large but yummy. The sprouts are a meal all by themselves! But there's more! I had the porcini rubbed filet and Teresa had the cabbage confit. Both portions were sizable and while I know she loved her cabbage, I was in heaven with a perfectly prepared filet that just melted in my mouth. Plus the asparagus spears and the Okinawa sweet potato mash were perfect accompaniment! Sadly, there was so much goodness we ended up bringing some home and we'll have to come back for dessert and another menu sampling. All in all a very memorable experience and a great place for a birthday dinner! But we'll be back just because! Special closing shout out to Michaela for taking such great care of us.

I ordered the burger without the bun or fries, and it was so overly salty that I struggled to finish it. My wife had the CACIO de PEPE, which tasted quite different from what we're used to, and the pasta was overcooked for our liking. My brother-in-law ordered the fish tacos, which were easily the standout dish at the table. My sister's chicken cesar salad was decent but nothing particularly memorable. The restaurant itself feels a bit unexpected for a rural setting, which may help explain its strong ratings. For me, though, it's not a place I'd go out of my way to visit again--more of a "fine if someone else suggests it" kind of spot.
