This review is for the pantry and store and not the kitchen. A very cool store filled with so many items to peruse. It is located in a former dime store. They sell wine ,beer, and a variety of whiskey items in the back of store bar shop. They have a large variety of kitchen items, bakery items, jams, preserves. You could spend hours browsing. There is not a lot in Three Oaks, but this was an interesting spot to stop in .

Fun little spot in small little town but the food was good especially the pepper burger. Not too spicy. The place was clean and nice and the service was great. Seemed liked a sleepy little spot but it had a nice bar and food and also a nice store. Will definitely be back. Worth the trip.

This place was a miss, unfortunately. The biscuits and gravy was very bland. I decided to have it wrapped to bring home and will add seasoning and sausage to it. It is hard to mess up sausage gravy when sausage has a lot of flavor in itself. There was very little sausage in it though. Full Circle has it down. So, I ordered the pickle brined chicken sandwich, which was also bland and quickly getting soggy because the supposed pickle aioli was a liquid. Such potential. A good pickle remoulade and chow chow would be amazing. Oh well. The chicken peanut noodle salad was ok. The coleslaw and potato salads were good. I spent $75 and left a bit disappointed. This place definitely has a cook in the kitchen, not a chef. The store is nice, service was good. I may try some of the jarred products on the shelf sometime, but I will skip the restaurant.

This was such a cute place with amazing food. Service was nice and let us eat at our own pace. Food was amazing. Definitely get the jalapeño poppers! Definitely going back.

Food and service were both excellent! It all tastes homemade. You can tell a lot of love went into making this restaurant a success. We are excited to try the bakery too!

Brunch for Mother's Day and this place has everything! From inside dining, back of the store deli/takeout, a bakery across the street, and a cute little store with an open bar. Service was excellent, the food was great, prices range from mid to high. My family and I recommend this place and can't wait to come back!

It has a small town community center vibe, and there are seating options available to enjoy your donuts once you purchase them. I love this rec-center vibe. The donuts themselves are pretty much what you would expect in terms of basic variety. There wasn't a huge variety available, but there were plenty of flavor options to choose from for even the pickiest of donut eaters. Strangely one immediate complaint that I have about the donuts right off the bat is that there's actually way too much icing or glaze. I got an old fashioned and two krulers, and some others, but there's so much icing on them that the donuts are completely lost and I'm literally crunching on pure chunks of recrystalized sugar on the old fashioned. I never imagined I'd have that complaint, but it is a bit overwhelming. I'll try the others later. I could not finish the old fashioned donut though because it was too sugary. (Took me 3 times to eat that one donut) There was a very tall gentleman in there that assisted me with my order. He was very pleasant and patient with me while I figured out what to put in my collection. Afterward, I sat down and ate part of my old fashioned donut to which he inquired about the quality. I told him it was good, but I should not have. I thought maybe I was just having a sugar issue with the old fashioned. I didn't realize it till I got the entire box home that they are all very heavily coated with the glaze. I thought the box was exceptionally heavy for 6 donuts... In any case, it doesn't really matter. Other than the Bit of Swiss business up the road, this is the only donut shop in town and I'm guessing the one you'll be stopping at when you roll through here as well. I love supporting local businesses and I'm glad this isn't a krispy kream, but I will say there's a little bit more that could be done in terms of enhancing the ambiance of their shop, as well as managing the overall glaze that coats the donuts. But the people were friendly and they were open early, so it was all good. *NEXT DAY I'm staying in an air bnb and Im actually going to take my donuts back. I took one bite of the kruler (yesterday when I got back to the b&b) and it was not good. All sugar on the outside, burnt exterior, but the inside was either raw or I don't know what. It was like wet bread. Literally. Pasty, gloopy, and so greasy/oily. Definitely an issue with the oil, and perhaps the recipe as well. Either way, I don't want to eat the rest and will take them back on my way out of town today. And by the way, it was like $20+ for a cup of coffee and 1 old fashioned, 2 krulers, 1 custard long-john, 1apple fritter, and a peanut butter filled. The long-john was okay, not enough custard and the pastry was dry, over-fried. The apple fritter was also a little burnt outside, but the apple ratio was good. It still was coated too heavily with sugar. I had to peel some of the thicker chunks off first. One bite of kruler and I won't eat that. Nope. I hope they have a better batch today. So, final thoughts... I just dropped off the bad donuts and the owner only refunded the 2 krulers even though I didn't eat the peanut butter one either, and that was after she got really defensive about her krulers (as if I'd never had one) and she refused to receive even the tiniest bit of feedback. Its obvious they were burned, over glazed, and raw in the center but she chose to make me feel badly about bringing them back, then she refunded me from her employee tip jar! What? She was so uncomfortable and unwilling to even listen to me that I felt angry leaving, even though I tried to be gentle. Whatever. My review was going to increase from 3 to 4 if they handled this well, but she didn't. Now it goes down farther than normal because customer service is important but was really lacking here by the actual owner, not the pleasant employee, though. She really put him in a strange position.

From the marketing, we were expecting more healthy options like monk fruit, honey, agave, or maple sugar sweeteners. Everything seemed to be pre-made in the form of powders with sugar, dyes, or stevia. Totally fine for the general public, but people seeking healthy options may be disappointed. I got a refresher of sorts and think it could've used some 100% fruit syrup or something of the sort. It tasted more artificial than a refreshing fruity drink, like something someone could make at home. The interior decorating could be adjusted to create a more memorable experience for customers to want to come back and relax there. If the kids area/ toys in the back of the room are for the public, I would make that more known and more organized. More comfortable furniture would also make it more inviting. There's an un-tapped niche for healthy drinks in South Haven during hot days in the summer. If this small business expanded towards the healthy and 'whole foods' side of things, I think they could reach more customers and really thrive in the area.

I've learned what my personal preferences are, and that's a big thing with making my juice purchase worthwhile. I seem to enjoy veggie based juices with a good hit of sweetness- like adding pineapple, lime, or apple. I don't enjoy juices with ginger, just my taste. My favorite juice on their current menu is "Raise the Barre", which is a green juice with some sweetness from fruit and a hint of spice from jalapenos (it's not hot). I've tried some of their natural snacks as well, like the fruit rolls and dehydrated tomato pizza bites. Again, all great. I would highly recommend anyone check out Juicy Leaf! They seem pretty active on social media- facebook and instagram, so check that out for menus and even some deals/ discounts I've seen. Gives you an idea of price, too. While I recommend this to everyone, I always warn/ inform people about price. I'm inclined to think that many people don't know the appropriate price point for these types of juices (Gee, a bottle of simply orange juice is $2 at meijer!). From what I've seen at other cold-pressed juice places, the prices here are pretty average. Remember that you're getting a whole load of fruits and veggies! 8oz are usually $5, 16oz are $9 for most juices. They do offer cleanses, too (not my thing though). Do note that their bottles note a warning regarding that they are not heat-processed, etc. May not be a good choice for someone sensitive to allergens in food- definitely ask the employees if you're concerned. I personally have never had an issue but just a note to keep in mind for any product of this nature, not just here! So all in all, I'm not mad at price. I do consider these juices a splurge for me personally, but I'm cheap and also consider buying coffee at a shop a splurge! Oh, they do offer coffee and warm drinks too. Employees are nice and knowledgeable. Definitely check it out!
