Go past the Somers location for years on my commute and would stop, or go to Froggy's Pizza to grab their family dinner packs (outstanding, BTW) so I was beyond excited when they opened their Pawling location a few min from my house, and another coming in Brewster. There are few times where food is as good as this, the wedges are perfect and all the food is amazingly fresh. Very cheap with great food!! I just found this deli as it looked like just another deli when I passed by! It wasn't. It was a great deli with candy for the kids, a free water with a wedge and pastries including fantastic cookies, astounding pound cake and great donuts. We have gotten pizza from here a few times. Each time the bottom of the pies are almost burnt. Makes the rest of it taste bad. In addition, they have a very thick crust that my family does not like. Makes it a bit mushy tasting. Will not be returning. read more

Been a resident of Somers for over 10 years, and never went to this deli in all that time. With the other places going out of business, getting more expensive, and cutting corners in this economy, I took a chance. Just visited for the first time yesterday, and am kicking myself - I should have been going here all the time!! Now I see why they are doing so well.... Whenever I'm visiting family in the area, this place is a must! Best breakfast sandwiches around and their lunch is good too. I'm a plain egg and cheese girl, but everyone else loves the Tusker (bacon, egg and cheese with hash browns and hot sauce) or Grand Slam (sausage, bacon, egg, and cheese). And their eggplant for the lunch sandwiches is heaven! Breakfast is $3-5 depending on what you get and lunch sandwiches on a roll will run you less than $7. read more

Froggy's Deli is a wonderful, working mans Deli. It is the only deli I know that is open throuhout snowstorms and at 5:00AM. The Russo brothers are hard working,committed owners with an exceptional work ethic. Because it is owner operated, they really care about their service and product. This place is dirty. They obviously don't clean up after the day is done. Ordered a scrambled egg and cheese, salt-pepper-ketchup. Received no salt, no pepper, and no ketchup, but they decided to place a hash brown on the sandwich. Well the 5 stars is relative. This is for a small, soon to be bigger, strip mall deli. You all know the type - bacon, egg and cheese all day. But, like in all restaurants, it's the food, service and ambience. In an all hour deli (4:30-8:00 weekdays and 6 to 5 on weekends) Froggys is the best in the area. Folks who care, smile and hustle, get the details right and serve up fresh and tasty food, a solid deli menu, and a warm bustling mood 12 1/2 hours a day. Can't ask for more. They are newly expanded and the side by side but not connected current configuration has been confusing. The deli side is still great but I got terrible service when I went into the pizza side, not realizing they had separated and ordered a sandwich. Instead of just explaining I should just walk next door they were surly and made me an almost inedible steak & cheese wedge. Have been back. Still confusing but now clear these are two separate businesses even if they share ownership. Deli great - pizza so-so. read more

I do not visit delis on any kind of regular basis. In fact, with the exception of Froggy's, I absolutely avoid them. As a deli though, Froggy's is simply awesome. Why? Delicious sandwiches. Cute frogs everywhere. Friendly service, good prices, super friendly employees and it is very accessible. If my kids ever ask for a deli sandwich, they ask to go to Froggy's, and they are teens. And they actually want to come with me! That's how much we all like this place. Could they improve? Yes, they could expand and offere indoor seating, but I will take it as it is. This deli is the best deli I have ever been too, anywhere. Froggy's is the lone exception to my "avoid delis" rule. read more

We catered a get-together from their menu and everyone at our party enjoyed the food. Kudos on the pulled pork - it was a hit. Salmon too. Fast service and tasty sandwiches with a broad menu selection. You never leave hungry and the price per sandwich is pretty reasonable. I feel that their sandwiches are a little inconsistent in terms of quality. It seems like this is directly correlated to how busy they are and what time of day it is. For example, sometimes the chicken cutlets are moist and juicy and sometimes they are tough and dry....a little annoying but it is kind of the only game in town so I take my chances and hope for the best. read more

Froggys isn't just any deli or pizza place. It's legendary. It starts out with great food that keeps you coming back which most places can pull off. But there isn't any place that has such amazing customer service. The whole staff is friendly, the type to remember your name and your order and they're also funny. A bunch of characters. Not there to collect a check but they love their job. The deli is fast and delicious if you're in a rush you won't be disappointed. The pizza place is new and already booming, definitely the best pizza in town and the food from the kitchen is phenomenal. To the point where you think you should pay more. A real one stop shop. Worst customer service I have ever experienced!! Food is OK and I will not take that away from them but I left that place furious without my sandwich or anything! Placed my order on the phone about 25 minutes before i arrived and the guy reiterated the whole order back to me and clearly said no problem, give us 10 minutes. Get there and its mayhem, people standing around blocking registers which is fine, however i finally get to the counter and they have ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE about the order, and have absolutely NO CONCERN and just continue on taking other phone, walk-in orders and lotto tickets! NEWSFLASH if a customer has ordered something on the phone and you f**cked up, you need to apologize and take their order before any new walk-ins or new phone orders because it was already placed 25 minutes before that! Get your shit right or you going to lose a lot of customers. read more
