This was a nice quiet place to go. If you order the waffle as shown in the picture,... it is not as big as it looks in the pic. Although it is a much smaller waffle than most... the flax seeds and multi grain concept make it filling. The amount of fruit on top was abt 1/3 to 1/2 of what is shown in the picture. Super cute spot- I had meant to go to the location in Redding but cell service was bad where I was staying and I clicked before I had the address. We stopped here on our way to Lassen for breakfast. Their chai is very good (lots of cinnamon). We also ordered one of the pies (which we are mid hike- it is probably better warm but still good), French toast (the waffle maker was down), and Al Fresco Bowl (we are vegetarian and my partner also doesn't eat eggs so we ordered without- they offered to increase the avocado in its place which we thought was above and beyond). This is a hidden gem!! Super friendly customer service and amazing salads and pastries. I had the BBQ Chicken Salad with onion straws and I highly recommend. The watermelon mint lemonade was so refreshing and the chocolate caramel cookie was the perfect way to end the meal. Holy cow! Loved loved loved this place! I had the Seared Ahi Bowl over Hawaiian Brown Rice and a cup of Chicken Pot Pie Soup. Soup wasn't outstanding but the bowl was perfect! Great servers. Hubby had the Peruvian Sandwich and it was a hit too. Their breads are really good. We shared an order of garlic french fries and they were delicious. I came here because it looked like the kind of place where I could get a salad. I make the drive up I-5 regularly and stopping to eat always feels risky. This place has great reviews so I went for it. The salad options are limited and they are all full of meat. I eat meat, so I don't mind that, but when I have a salad, I still want it to be primarily greens and veggies. House made sausage (patty only) was good, lean, tender, not-too-spicy. Eggs ordered "medium" were cooked perfectly (a welcome rarity). Omelette (custom) was fluffy, good but would have garnered 5th star if bacon was crispy & crumbled and spinach was chopped. A limp rasher of bacon and a couple spinach leaves nested horizontally make for difficult cutting to bite-size. Also, cold toast, lightly painted with melted butter is fake as a Trump promise to "drain the swamp". Still, this place is worth the short detour off the main artery. read more

Stopped for lunch and so glad we yelped this place because it's one street off the main drag. But oh is the food great. I had the SW chicken salad special ordered with tofu. My hubby had the Thai wrap. We shared an order of fries. All were memorable. And we didn't even try the super yum looking pastries. Listen, we use DoorDash which isn't always reliable but this place is worth getting off your butt for. My husband and I are moving and will travel 3hrs just for the food! I've never had such a delicious burger, sandwich or salad anywhere else. This is a must eat restaurant. read more

Great place to eat any time of day! This is a local favorite and always have great meals. However, I was recently here yesterday with my boyfriend and we ordered two meals with a side of fries to go. My meal was passed out first, and the cook (I'm assuming) said my boyfriends would be out because they're making fresh fries. I opened up my to go container before leaving so I can get ketchup and my fries were cold and not fresh at all. Soon after my boyfriends meal came out with fresh hot fries. Always super great customer service whether you dine in or take-out. I have a few menu favorites, but my absolute favorite is the bbq chicken salad! I have a favorite for breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. My entire family loves this restaurant, even my littles. The restaurant is clean, efficient, and very family friendly seating. The food is always quality and they are super flexible with customizations. The bakery items are delicious and super hard to pass up in the beautiful case they have! This place is great. There is lots of space and friendly employees. I ordered the tofu wrap and a bean burger. The tofu wrap was fresh and delicious. The bean patty was very tasty but as a burger it was way too dry. The street corn wasn't my favorite. It was frozen corn in a pool of liquid with no flavor at all. Before Covid, we usually stopped at FTH while driving between Ashland and Walnut Creek about 8 times a year. We stopped in today after a year of no travel and were pretty stunned to see 75% of the customers without masks. All of the servers had masks but the restaurant has no signage on the door or front windows requiring masks on customers. Many people were eating inside. This experience says to me that FTH isn't interested in public health and isn't a place I'll spend money at again. read more

I was really impressed with this great cafe right across the street from city hall. I needed somewhere to do my work while my car was worked on, and stayed for several hours. The people working here are super nice and the omlette I had was delicious. This is a suprising little gem in Red Bluff.
