We had to ask for utensils, She only give us 3 plates when it was a party of 4. She Took forever to bring us our beer and she only brought 1, had to wait AGAIN for the 2nd beer. Great place to watch a game of just listen to some good music videos. I love the ambience of this place and the food is delish. Been here a number of times and the service is always great. The staff is engaging and fun. I have several dishes here but lately seem to be stuck on the Nachos which are piled high with meat, cheese, guac, beans, jalapeño and sooo good. Things are changing.. Lunch time and the music was almost too loud to talk to the people at your table. The service was extremely slow compared to all other times we've been here. It took over 30 minutes of waiting for our check, took forever to get refills, the wrong drink was brought, and everyone seemed to just forget us at out table. There were people being annoyingly loud in the bar area as well, but was unsure if it was employees or actual patrons. The prices have gone up too. I loved the lunch chicken strip plate for 10 bucks.... It's now 11.95. Which is not that bad considering they replaced the Cole slaw with the Mac n cheese... The food quality is the same, but the Mac seemed a bit more loose than it used to be but was still same flavor. But with higher prices I'd expect better service at least. Sadly, I think my time here has come, think I'm done with fronk's... It was a go to place for yours.. But the atmosphere and service has declined for me. I was torn writing this review. The staff were very nice and attentive. Definitely no problem there. The food was not like it used to be when it was new. We decided to come here because 4 years ago was the last time we have been and we LOVED it then. This time seemed very dark and not as clean as it used to be. We started with some appetizers and it tasted like they just dumped garlic salt on the onion rings and zucchini. We unfortunately decided not to stay for an entree. Best pulled pork nachos! A cool spot to meet up at for drinks and some good bar food. They have a pretty good outdoor patio for summer nights and they do have tv's if you want to just catch a game. Servers are knowledgeable about the menu. It's not a bad place to bring kids to either. read more

The dressing was a light and tangy citrus vinaigrette. A good tasting salad! I enjoyed a tasty turkey slider which was deliciously seared . The ingredients- fresh! To share, the lil' sis and I noshed on the deep fried thick & juicy mushrooms, and the lightly fried onion rings. Needless to say, the plates were devoured. Yum! Oh, and with the Yelp Check-In, you get 50% off any appetizer. Sis enjoyed her pulled pork slider and bacon-blue Fronk's salad. Our server was efficient, service-oriented, and friendly. I was tremendously upset on how our service went tonight. Was seated immediately, however, no one literally checked on us for 10 mins! We ordered a couple of waters and two drinks while we waited for a few more people in our party. Water came out about 10 mins later. And drinks came out about 15 minutes after that. Came here for a staff lunch one afternoon in the middle of the work-week. Loved the feel of this place. I could see myself coming to get drinks and watch some sports. We decided to sit on the patio since we were a bigger party. The patio was very spacious and there were tvs and music playing. The atmosphere and vibe I would give 4/5. I was super excited about the food as I was browsing the menu before we came. Based on pictures everything looked so delicious. I was so hungry I wanted to order so much, but ended up getting the Philly Pig burger with sweet potato fries. I was hoping my co-workers would order the fried mushrooms or zucchini since I love both but didn't want to get them myself. Maybe next time. I'd say the burger was pretty good. It was a good size. I got it because I really wanted to try the pulled pork, which is in the Philly pig, but I wanted a good ol burger. Pulled pork was ok. A little dry. Flavor wise overall - it could've been better. Sweet potato fries were good, but again flavor could've been better. My coworker had onion rings which had the perfect breading, but lacked salt. My other co-worker got the nachos which looked beautiful in the photo but didn't really look like it in person and flavor was also just ok. Based on my first experience here, food was ok. Came here with some friends after shooting at the gun range down the street. It was close by and had been recommended by one of the friends that was with us.... oh and there were vegan options for my vegan friend. It's a nice place. Chill ambience...kinda of lounge like. Full bar. Street parking was easy to find on a Saturday afternoon and not too many people were there. There's a nice outside seating area so that's were we went. We had a nice waiter that wasn't very informative but was willing to find out the answers to our questions and accommodated us as much as possible. I wasn't a big fan of the menu nothing seemed amazing (as you'll notice from our order choices) plus the prices were pretty high for a place like this. I had the bacon salad, my vegan friend had some vegan salad, fries were ordered by another friend, corn chowder by the friend who recommended the place and we got fried pickles for the table. My salad was okay. Fresh ingredients but not enough bacon and the bacon that was there was over cooked. The pickles weren't seasoned at all. My friends vegan salad was subpar according to her. The chowder seemed to please my other friend but she's the one that recommended the place. Lol. All and all I don't see myself coming back. Having been to Fronk's before for their bottomless mimosas, I suggested this place to my friends so they could try the bottomless experience. Turns out they don't do offer them anymore but our waiter did give us the option to either purchase them individually or buy a bottle of champagne and oj would be on the house! We ended up getting a bottle for $22 (not bad!!) and were able to split it to about 2 mimosas per person for 3 people! Since our main intentions were the mimosas, I thought the food was whatever. It was good but I think it's just that the menu is very American style heavy so not my particular cup of tea when pairing with drinks. I ended up going with fish and chips which also had the option to come with another side. I chose their house salad and it definitely helped balance the fried-ness of the fish and chips. Overall, come here for the mimosas but know that they aren't bottomless anymore! Get the bottle and make your own bc it's way more worth than the individuals. read more

This review is for Saturday September 25th. Bellflower had it's annual car show and closed down Bellflower Blvd. The family and I went out and checked out all the cars. We ended at the south end of the Blvd and Fronks was there so we decided to have dinner since it was only 15 to 20 minute wait. We were seated and the first thing we noticed was the LOUD music. As we were sitting looking over the menu on our phones the loud music got our attention because of the language. I don't know who it was singing but definitely not something I would play in my vehicle. It definitely was not family friendly. We ordered our food, I got the mushroom burger, my wife got the chicken tacos and both our kids got chicken tenders. The burger was pretty good, it always is for I've had it before. My wife said the tacos were ok but the sides were cold. The kids didn't care for the chicken tenders because it had way too much batter. Now all of a sudden the loud music stopped and a load commentor came on. Apparently there was a UFC fight coming on. I'm not into UFC, I was paying more attention to the Dodgers game. The first fight was over and then the next fight started. I asked the waitress, (who was really nice and did a good job) for the check. I got a look at the bill and noticed there was a gratuity on it. We call her over and asked why was it on there for four people. She said the owner charges $35 per table for the UFC fight. We weren't there for UFC! We're leaving and the second fight isn't even over. If we were there for UFC we'd be staying all night and watch the main event! There were no signs saying there was a cover charge for the fight. The hostess or waitress did not inform us about the $35 charge for the fight. Went here for lunch and was a little worried about all the reviews complaining about bad service when the place was not busy. And they were correct. We had to ask twice for menus. After trying to flag down a waiter to no avail, we stood up and found a waiter to put in our food order. When more people arrived for lunch, the service improved. I suspect lunch service would be improved by a manager on premise. The food was all very good. The fried zucchini are huge, as were the portion of sweet potato fries that came with the burger. Would happily order the zucchini and onion rings again. The spicy burger was good, but not excellent. Will try something else next time. read more

The staff at Fronk's are really wonderful, super friendly and make you feel right at home. My review and the 3 stars is based on our brunch experiences. Been here for Sunday brunch 3 times. Unfortunately, each time I felt less satisfied for what we paid. The first time was great, even though they have a very limited selection for brunch, but they offered ribs (instead of the prime rib). The next two times they offered prime rib and no ribs, we liked the ribs better. The Fronk's toast is a must have, it's my favorite brunch item. However, I won't come back and pay the brunch price just for that. It would be great if they added some more items, a little more variety. I am hoping to return for the regular menu items and try out their burgers which I have heard good things about. read more

Upon arriving, I asked for a kids menu, host informed me they did not have one, yet I could ask the waitress for information regarding the kids menu. Once being greeted by the waitress she seemed a bit stressed, wasn't friendly at all just very dry to the point . This was not a good sign since I brought my family in, informing them this was a good place. Since the waitress was very dry when talking we just looked up the menu on yelp. My partner was a little irritated due to not being checked up on and well there not being fish tacos ( he was hangry) . Our food was brought to us at different times rather than all together which is never good, since we all want to start eating together . This place is well decorated though, burgers are delicious ,service could be better which was a big fail for me. Also a wider variety of beer would be nice. Will I return ?
