Best bang for your buck to be honest. The food is good and they're so much to choose from. I really like how the inside of the place didn't get modernized, it really adds to the nostalgia of when I used to come here when I was a kid and also adds to the old diner look. Proprietor, love this guy always pepy always friendly makes you feel at home. always on the go to satisfy his customers. Some may take his aura a little firm but he is really a great proprietor. Always clean dining in or take out. Still consider a mom and pop. Never had issues with the food. Cooked well and prompt. Got Carne and Abondigas Carne asada well cooked with onions ans pepper abondigas very good taste great. Ok so I've lived in Norwalk for most of my life and have never walked into the RC burger at the Norwalk square. So we decided to give it a try and let me just say I'm glad we did. I like that they offer a lot of choices from traditional breakfast to Mexican breakfast. Hamburgers, alcohol lol We ordered Steak and eggs 5/10 over cooked steak Breakfast burrito 9/10 Wings and fries 8/10 The cashier was very nice and friendly and it seems like they have a lot of regulars that come here. At one point people just walked in sat at a table and the cashier came over to take their order. The place is big and offers a lot of tables and most of them were full. Well the combination of sauce and ingredients like chopped lettuce perfectly dill pickles and red onion with soft buns and not to mention the patties cooked to perfection makes all the difference in the world. Don't even get me started on the fries salty, crispy but soft middle fat fries are the perfect partner for this double Cheeseburger combo. Don't take my word for it just try it for yourself. Walked into RC Burger in the Norwalk Square today with my 89 year old mother and asked if she could please use the restroom. The man named, Beto, who works at the register said the restroom was being cleaned and it would be about 5 minutes. My mom and I decided to stand there and wait. Beto then asked if we were going to order anything to eat. I told him we were not going to eat at this time. He then grabbed the restroom key and walked over and opened the door, looked inside and said it looks like it's going to take a lot longer. Beto does not realize from where I was standing I could see that there was no one in the restroom, it's a small, one person restroom. I decided to just walk out and not say what I wanted to say to him. It is so disheartening to see how people lie and not even care about an elderly person. read more

The service is pretty quick here and the workers are respectful and answer any questions you have. I hear the breakfast food here is supposed to be good but I saw that they had menudo and I ordered that because I had not had it in forever. Been coming here since I was a literal child before the name got changed, it used to be sams burgers. Benito who works the front has been like part of the family. I look forward to coming here just to see him. Aside from that the food here always tastes homemade and I love having breakfast here. The food is well priced and you can't beat the service . It's overall like a piece of my childhood and I love this place! I recommend the French toast, it's doused in egg just like I like it, and it tastes home made with love. I ordered the french toast and it was slathered in egg. I felt like it was more egg than the actual toast. It looked and smelled so nasty i couldnt even dare to finish one bite. The hashbrown were fully cooked on the outside but were raw from the inside and tasted like water you drink from the hose. My bacon was the only thing i ate even though it tastes like eggs which was a disappointed to me. I got a coffee and it tasted like pure water. Literally 12 dollars down the drain ! I was wanting menudo and was nervous of trying it from here. It was very good tripe was tender I recommend it. I think it was better then Mr. Rosewood. One thing is if they cut the tripe smaller. With the times being what it is with the Norwalk Town Square, I wasn't really surprised that they have added Mexican food in their menu. The place can be festive with games on TV. I came here because I was looking for something on my way back home. I though it was a burger place and since it has better parking than the local Tams I came in. However , once inside their food selection is more than burgers. They have seafood, fajitas , breakfast and more of the yummy Mexican food we enjoy . But since I'm a little white washed I ordered the chicken dinner which was delicious ! My mom ordered the chiles rellenos which she enjoyed very much.
