Someone put a good sized dent on the hood of my car. I called my insurance, then called around to some body shops - I got the typical response which was either 1) make an appointment, bring it in, we'll look at it or 2) we're booked up until summer. Then I found Front Range Bumper Solutions. Not only could they give me an estimate simply by looking at the photo I sent, but it was gloriously less than any estimate I'd gotten so far, AND they came to my house to do the work AND actually scheduled me in for 2 days after I initially called. Not only did they do all of this, but the best part was David did a FANTASTIC job - I can't even tell there was ever a dent. I accidentally punctured a hole in the back of my car when parking in the garage. Jeff replied to my text timely and was able to come the next day. In theory the idea of mobile repair services is fantastic, but the company has some serious problems with communications and customer service. After the quoting process, I requested an appointment to have my bumper repaired. Although I asked for a set of times, I was simply scheduled for a day and time, without any request for input on my part. Not how I prefer to schedule appointments, but I was eager to have the repair done, so I accepted. Fast forward to the day of the repair, and I receive an email 30 minutes before the scheduled time informing me that the bumper did not come in yet and we'd need to re-schedule. Ok, fine. For my second appointment, once again I am simply scheduled for a random time without any input on my part. The time didn't work so I requested a different day and time. When we finally agreed on a time that would work for me, I was given a one hour window from 8 to 9am when the repair tech would arrive. Since I was taking time off work to wait for the repairs (my work has a parking garage, so the repairs couldn't be done there), I was hoping the tech would arrive earlier rather than later. Welp, he wound up arriving at 10, which forced me to miss more time from work. Overall I was pleased with the work, but the company should be careful of over promising and under delivering on commitments and make a point to be more considerate of a customer's time. All the scheduling hassles and unfulfilled expectations essentially negated the benefits of the mobile service. read more

The short back story is that I scratched my bumper (Lexus 400H) closing my garage door. I never wanted to fix it thru insurance since it would impact my rates so I drove around ashamed of my scratched bumper for 2 years. One day in the local King Soopers parking lot I got an offer that was too good to be true, literally and i was the victim of a scamming mobile repair guy (Clint Flores,- Mobile Auto Detail beware) who made the scratches and paint 20xs worse. After going to muliple local auto shops and being appalled at the $600 estimates I received, I saw FRBS's review on Yelp and decided to give them a call. HOLY COW!!! for $250 they came out, matched the paint to a T and had my bumper looking like new in less than 3 hours....all done in my driveway. I am so mad I waited until the parking lot scam took place to investigate getting the paint fixed as FRBS was reasonable, quick and their work was perfection. I had two dents in my door. I specifically asked beforehand if they were fixable and told they were. One dent was fixed well. The other is still very obvious. In addition they ruined my door handle by accidentally sanding into it and the entire interior of the car was covered in dust from the sanding. When I called the company they said there website says " we are a mobile company, we don't offer the same quality as a body shop" but their website actually says that they offer the exact same quality as a body shop.
