2 for 1 everyday, all day on draft and wells. Just a comfortable neighborhood place. Service was spot on, I am sure it helps that I sat at the bar. 2 for 1 was a plus, coming back! Extra..Extra..read all about it...The Front Range Inn has re-opened under new management...and that means a nother place to catch live music in a casual maner...The best of the old Range employees, and some great new ones too..If ya just want a place to hang with the gang..watch any sports..Play cards...or just boose and bull...this will work...2 fers on your first drink...new cook with a new fryer on the way...usual bar fare.. but a "Cheers" kinda feel...Alot of local musicians are finding the Range as a great place to gig...more of a show feel than a dance club...and that is fine with me....plenty of parking and great for sport teams to gather after their games...bikers and golfers all hanging together like family.. This establishment is the first stop on our 2012 Bar Tour. The GF and I want to see more of the metro areas drinking establishments and started with a place close to home. This dive bar has been here forever with several management changes. The view from the bar of the front range is beautiful even if the bar itself is not. The atmosphere is dark and somewhat dank with an elevated bar section with a few tables and a main area with several tables and some games along the back wall. There is a smoking patio off the bar. Happy hour was 2 fer for draft beer. The folks at the bar appear to be hardcore regulars and not too friendly, but not that uncomfortable either. read more

Fairley new to this establishment, really like the food. Sat at the bar and asked for a beer and a side of tomato juice. The tomato juice tasted sour and was bubbling, I asked the female bartender if this was tomato juice since I have been given Bloody Mary juice in the past. She did verify this was Tomato juice, so I then asked if it was fresh and she said it was. I told her my juice was bubbling she did not apologize, try to get me more out of a fresh can or anything...REALLY???????? I then watched her make red beers and saw the beer bubbling after it was mixed. Hopefully whoever drinks red beers at this place do not get sick. I did not drink my tomato juice and will not in the future, the female bartenders don't seem to care about anything but making money no matter what the cost to the patrons. read more

A perfect C+/B- sort of bar. Close to the (now old) home, cheap drinks, and a cozy little place to catch a buzz or just hang out for awhile. Food isn't all that great, but it is edible, and gets MUCH better after a few drinks. The regular crowd is usually entertaining, and the staff is very friendly. But in the end, nothing to write home about, go out of my way for, or do much more than swing by for a cold beer if I'm in the neighborhood. read more

Me and my wife enjoy this establishment. The beer is the cheapest around and it's always happy hour whenever you get inn. The food is very good and also not expensive,(kitchen closes at 7:00pm). This is possibly the last best watering hole in the southwest area. read more

Excellent prices, and they are always on Happy Hour. Sarah is amazing, and Joe is great. They are very trusting and reasonable with the prices, especially with expensive liquor. Lots of tv's. The Bar itself feels like very warm and cozy, friendly. One downfall is the touchtones music player, It forces you pay for your own music. If you don't put money in it, the bar is quiet and sad. Besides that, it's Great! Beer is cheep as well, and they only have three taps with your traditional Coors Light, Budweiser, and Bud Light. No Coors Banquet on tap even though we live in Denver. Well, for starters, the place looks like a dump. But, wanting to give this place a shot, my friend and I decided to stay based on the reviews of the food. We were sitting for about 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged our existence. The waitress took our drink order and brought them to us. She didn't come back for another 15 minutes. She finally took our order which included an appetizer. We waited another 20 minutes to get our food, which was brought out all at once. I was under the silly impression that appetizers are served before the meal to give you something to nibble on, but apparently not. I had the chicken tenders and my friend had tacos. The food was okay but it wasn't anything KFC or Taco Bell couldn't have done. We were done eating for about 10 minutes before I eventually had to wave over a waitress so we could pay and get the heck out! She split the check like we asked and brought our receipts to sign. She charged both of us for the whole check, so a $22 meal ended up being $44. Again, now irritated, I tried to wave down the waitress to rectify the issue. The waitress saw me and just waved back! Thankfully, a regular pointed out our table and she came back. They ended up voiding the original charges and rang it up again. By the time we left we had been there nearly an hour and a half for food and service I would have expected at a fast food restaurant. WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!!! read more

I've been coming to this place sine the late '80s. It's a great bar, actually it's a great gear head bar. The tales told here are amazing. The food quality has been up and down forever, however the current cook is amazing. He grew up in one of Denver's better legit restaurants and is definitely not a fry cook. The menu is not extensive however every thing on it is prepared to perfection. His attention to freshness and execution it really remarkable. Definitely not your average dive bar. My favorite is his steak sandwich, and my wife loves the Tilapia salad. The staff is friendly and your first drink is always a twofer. As a plus we have very rarely spotted a hipster hanging out here and that was years ago. If you are ever headed to Red Rock and can't stand Morrison stop on by. read more

Great little friendly neighborhood bar, on top of a hill with a nice view. The staff is quite friendly, the food is decent, several TVs including a big screen, 2-for-1 on your first drink, smoking patio. Various video games and pinball. A lot of 30, 40, and 50-something friendly patrons, good conversation, jukebox and occasional live music, decent prices. I have been coming here since I lived nearby in 1991-92, and the Front Range is one of best places for drinks, watching the game, and conversation that I know of. We were searching for a place to call home when the Cuckoos Nest closed. Visited many bars in the Lakewood area. It's always 2-fers at Front Range. We got 2 beers and 2 drinks for $6.50! We needed a full kitchen because that is where we eat our Sunday meal. I'm SO GLAD to announce we have found our new "home". Deanna is a very busy and friendly bartender, very attentive, too. And the food, my gosh, sooooo good! Darren is the cook and he works 7 days a week. Today I had the Full House Salad with Chicken. I usually find the chicken in most restaurants to be quite boring. Not sure why it has a low rating. It is a watering hole for the locals that actually has really good bar food. Everyone was really friendly both times we were there. Again this is not a gastro pub. They have the normal fried bar food offerings you would expect along with some Mexican options. They do not have a large selection of beer. You have Bud, Miller, and Coors on tap, but if they are your flavor then they have a great draft special. They also do not have a large bottle selection either but you can get a Fat Tire there so I am good. read more
