Initially chat (because you can get anyone in the phone with this company) with Priyadharshini and "Mark", I I also feel like was Priyadharshini but going as Mark "in a different department". I was told the service would be active in 2-24 hours after payment was posted to the account. About 30 hours later, there still no service and no one had any real answered to why. "Restrictions" were lifted, "Terms & Conditions" need to be agreed to sent via email, billing and processing issues was causing a "slight delay", etc. lots of excuses but no real solution or answers. Just a lot of quick responses and eagerness to leave the chat. Very new chat seemed to have a new excuse and the same exhausting answers, "24 hours". So, how many 24 hours we have to wait? We are still waiting. Their lack of customer service and actual solution as to solidify the issue(s) is unbearable. They treat you as a number and a customer, unless you're upgrading your service of course... awful company. Internet service is decent. read more

Buyer Beware. Frontier is filling mailboxes with details of their internet "deals" now that they are part of Verizon. Well.... once you "bite", the "deal" pricing instantly vanishes, and it is impossible to get anyone at Frontier or Verizon to provide a straight answer. The internet service itself was fine, but the billing practices were not. I was explicitly told that my account would not be billed for YouTube TV, yet Frontier charged my account for two consecutive months anyway, forcing me to stop my autodraft to prevent further charges being taken. I had to spend time contacting customer service to address charges that should never have occurred, which was frustrating and unnecessary. Being told one thing and then charged anyway shows a lack of reliability and accountability. As of now, I still have not been refunded or credited for the charges or gaven any solution. Additionally, do not purchase any third-party add-ons through Frontier (YouTube TV, Netflix, or anything else they offer). They were quick to take my money, but when a problem arose, no meaningful help was offered, and I was passed around with no clear ownership of the issue. I agreed, but now I am receiving a bill of $154.21. I have attempted to call but I only get an automated system, and it's the same thing with the chatbot going in circles online. I am now afraid that this bill will eventually be sent to collections, and I won't be able to get service again. read more

We booked Frontier for internet over a month ago. They have yet to finish installing our service. We had a technician come out yesterday and left midway through the job. We now have to wait two more weeks to get internet at minimum. I finally decided to just go with spectrum. When I called to cancel my order, frontier demanded that I return the parts they left at my house instead of them coming to pick them up. They are screwed into the wall. I also had to call twice to officially cancel as the customer service rep told me she canceled me and then she did in fact not cancel my services. Glad I checked as I received no confirmation email. Very hard to get anything done with these folks over phone In the last month I have logged in over 20 hours waiting on hold with this frontier internet company trying to get my land line re- connected I have had service with them for five years now and the land landline has only worked about half the time and when it gets disconnected it takes several calls to get it back reconnected and the most frustrating thing is the amount of time one spends on hold waiting and these poor young girls don't have a clue how to fix it and they can barely speak English and end up getting a phone call few days later from a white tech guy telling me they figured it out and that is repaired This time in June of 2025 has been the worst because I have been without landline service for 3 weeks and after numerous calls and multiple frontier personnel working on it including technical support it seems no one can get it back connected I think there is a glitch somewhere that got created that no one can find so here I am, three weeks with no phone service just wanting to let folks know that maybe bundling your phone service with your internet is not a good idea read more

Frontier Damaged My Property - Lied and Ignored Me!" Someone from Frontier came to bury internet cables and ended up damaging my sprinkler box. They even parked their car on my grass, leaving it a mess. I filed a damage claim right away, but no one ever came to fix it. I've called customer service so many times -- every time they promise to call me back, but they never do. It's all lies. This company is probably the worst internet provider for quality and or service support that you could choose out of all of your options in the Dallas metroplex. If it was an option to give this company a -5 star selection, I would. From a support model, they struggle with even the most basic level 1 operational support functions. They will dodge your calls where you cannot talk to anyone about getting support. They will automatically skip your service support tech visits and then not reschedule. Do not expect a reason for this missed appointment. They do not care about your small business functions and do understand that being down for a week has significant impact to your revenue stream. I've been paying for 1 gig speeds and I get nowhere near that. I get about 100-200mbps on a good day. Called customer service to fix this issue and their response was to upgrade to a higher speed plan. This company is a joke. I have had intermittent connection problems with one stb for months. It finally crapped out, and I have spent several hours over the past three weeks trying to troubleshoot their technology free of charge. After two problematic chats, three mailed set top boxes and another call, we still have zero timeline for a resolution. Primary account holder is 80. How exactly is he supposed to do this on his own? Technology is not user friendly, service is hit or miss and relies too heavily on an underpowered chatbot and scripts that are inflexible and useless to the subscriber. Worse company ever. They were installing fiber optics in our neighborhood in Denton. They tore up of parts of my front yard I including new sod. A letter left on door stated that everything affects the project will be completely restored upon completion.They left the dirt and new sod that was dug up in piles. Poor quality internet. They offer 1gb internet which performs like 1mbps. I had it for a month. It will perform soo poor even within 8ft from the router. Forget about upstairs. Truly the worst customer service experiences I've had. The people are nice enough but often can't understand them on the phone. Plus, you have to wait an hour every time you call, no matter what. Our Internet has been spotty. When i reported this, they told me we would have to pay more per month for the same service. NOPE. When they came to fix it, they disconnected our 2nd land line- so we've had no service on that line for over a month. Called twice to get someone out and each time they ran a whole bunch of tests, kept my husband on the line for an hour each time and nothing is fixed. This is going to be long as that how bad of an experience i received . if i could star a zero i would. 9 year or so ago , i tried frontier they lied about cost, signed up and my first bill was over $500. canceled right away. After 9 years i decided to try again because Spectrum internet had to many outages, agreed with the rep on cable and internet. service guys appears , leaves wires everywhere, and let me tell you a week later still laying on the floor. i get home from work and i have no cable, after talking and arguing with the automotive system, find out frontier does not provide cable. Couldn't even cancel because it take 3 days to create an account. now my garage door does not work, went around serval days trying to do a claim , so now the rep files one for me, check on it 3 days later and that rep too lies. i finally had someone show me how to file a claim , and her we are 3 days later and 2 wks with no garage, wire cable everywhere.. NEVER AGAIN FRONTIER. oh and to top it off, they charge 55 dollars to return boxes, 99 dollars for i dont know what else, and i didnt even have service for a day. i did talk to another rep who has promised to cancel charges, and it is still showing on my bill 3 days later. Their customer service is an absolute joke. Every time I call, I'm stuck on hold for hours, only to be transferred between clueless representatives who don't have any answers. My internet drops constantly, and when I try to get help, they either blame my equipment (which is *theirs*) or give me the same useless troubleshooting steps I've already tried a hundred times. Promised a technician visit? Don't hold your breath--they either don't show up or show up late with no solution. Save yourself the headache--avoid Frontier at all costs. My bill went up $15 and I was not notified until the day after my bill was generated (I'm sure they probably had some small print on the previous bill. When I contacted them about just lowering my plan, they lowered my 1 Gig from the new price of $74.99 to 500mbps for $54.99. They are making me pay $74.99 for billing cycle Feb4th-Mar3rd then prorating the next bill to $37.66. The problem here is in the prorated amount their breakdown sent to me says I am only paying $64.99! So they are stealing $10 from me and no-one has been able to help me with billing. Soon as I finish my research I'm leaving this company! They find ways to take money from you, and their service is great during the day but not overnight because they are always doing 'upgrades' that interrupt service so not good for work from home night shifts. Worst customer service I've ever experienced for technical support. We've had great internet for a while, but this past week has been awful. Every time I call, instead of helping, they just try to push a three-month trial for a WiFi extender -- even though I only use WiFi in one room and don't need it. Their solution for everything is a WiFi booster -- even when our TV is literally six inches from the router. I even hooked up a LAN cable and still had issues, proving it's not just a "signal" problem, but they refused to listen. Are they supposed to be technical support or salespeople? I spent a whole hour on one call, just being pressured to add the extender, with no real help for the actual problem. I'm beyond frustrated with this company. read more

8/29 Finally got phone service again. Then the internet started going on and off. Called tech support who sent signals out and no internet and no TV. Tech dropped chat. Called again and found out that he suspended my internet/TV service. Have to call again when account service is open because the only thing I got on the computer was a message to reconnect my service by signing in to their website and paying a bill that is not due until Sept 9th. The gentleman who recruited me for the Internet was very pushy and unnecessarily talkative when I wasn't interested in the slightest, and the customer service to simply cancel an installation appointment was ridiculous. The call center people are simply meant to hassle you and make it as difficult as possible to cancel. I had to repeat it several times and she still rambled about the 12 months of no bill, like the gentleman in the truck did. Also, the gentleman in the truck literally pulled up to our house just as we got home, and that was beyond annoying.
