Once an acceptable project scope and cost quote were agreed upon, Shaun kept in contact with us to make sure things were progressing properly. The full project was completed in a timely fashion, and exactly on the budget we had agreed upon. The Frontier project work crew deserved the highest praise for the work they did on our yard re-do project! They were VERY hard working, conscientious, safe, and careful in their work. They always did their best to protect our property, home structure, and driveway surfaces. At the end of each work day, they made sure the work area was cleaned up, trash and scrap were disposed of, and all tools and equipment were stored away out of sight. The lead man communicated quite well with me whenever I had any questions or suggestions and he seemed to have a total grasp of the overall project scope as well as the many details and intricacies that needed to be planned for and addressed along the way. He was a very good planner and organizer. He seemed to look ahead and always made sure that he had whatever materials and equipment he needed on hand when he needed it. The crew members communicated and worked very well together and seemed to share the workload on all parts of the project activities. The project crew and the Frontier organization are to be congratulated for the quality of personnel they hire, train and maintain. We hired Frontier Landscaping based on recommendations from several of our neighbors who had also hired them & we saw the various kinds of landscape update projects they could do. We weren't disappointed & we recommend Frontier without hesitation. Shaun was professional & knowledgeable about what it would take to accomplish what we wanted. Jose & Chad, the team who did the work, were also very professional & really knew what they were doing. In Fall of 2021, my wife and I called Frontier Landscaping to ask them to help design and build the landscape in the front of our house. It was a northwest native scene but lacked the interesting topography, occasional boulders, and appropriate mix of plants to make it look both beautiful and natural. And we wanted a watering system set to a timer. Shaun visited us that fall and, the following spring, arranged a full crew to trench pipes, install the watering system, set up an automatic timer. A few weeks later, Shaun outlined a new lawn border, developed an artistic arrangement for a set of river rocks we had collected, and his crew placed several large boulders, planted or moved several plants of Oregon grape, salal, and ferns. We picked out several small maple trees and worked with them to find a proper arrangement. I appreciated Shaun's artistic eye and his advice on how to arrange and maintain our new landscaping. Shaun did a good job listening to our desires and working up an appropriate arrangement. His crew members were also skilled and hard working. We hired Frontier landscaping last year and this year to totally reduce front yard with year round green plants Rhodes and azaleas. Great job spacing the plants. Just what we wanted. They removed the sod. and conserved what soil they could. Then bark nuggets were applied. Back yard: Removed some sod , planted some new apple and maple trees site specific, placed some decorative bushes and large boulders and set irrigation directly to each plant as well as some raised gardens. In addition to all this they installed a wonderful interlock block sidewalk from front yard to back yard and a lovely elliptical patio that really increased our useable space. Our front yard looked disgusting. We saw that Frontier had done some work on one of our neighbors front yard and it looked great, so we gave them a call. Shaun, the Construction Manager, came out to our property and took a look at what we had and gave some suggestions as we really didn't know what to do. We had a quote within a day or two, and once we made the decision, we got a quick timeline and now have an amazing front yard. The workers came out and worked so incredibly hard over the course of four hot days. Wow! These guys have been great maintaining our sites and irrigation systems. Their response to emergency needs whether it be irrigation or cleaning up downed tree's they are always quick to respond. Had a water leak one time all assumed was irrigation but quickly realized it was not Frontier staff stayed on site and exposed the potable water piping leak after a 3 foot dig.
