I'm not sure why this place takes appointments when no matter what you schedule even just an oil change they say 2 to 4 hour wait or ask if you can leave it till the end of the day, even though you mark waiting when scheduling the appointment. I got a message on my dashboard that the battery for my key fob needed to be replaced. I looked in my owner's manual to see if it said what type of battery to use, thinking I would go to Rite Aid and buy one, but it didn't tell me. This is not the closest Toyota dealer to me, but I'm staying in the area so I stopped in to see if they could help me. Two fine gentlemen in the parts department both offered me assistance and it turns out that, yes I could have bought a battery at Rite Aid, but they had it right there for less than 5 bucks and one of the fellows already had my fob open, so I was thrilled to have him replace it for me One other thing that really stands out. He asked me if I had another fob at home and when I said yes he advised me to replace that battery, too, as it may also be near the end of its life. This review is for their service department. I didnt purchase my vehicle here but I usually bring my car here for service whenever Im not working. It is the nearest dealership close to my house. Service is decent and prices are very affordable. However, the dealership does not provide shuttle service for customers so you either have to wait for your car at the dealership or arrange for your own transportation to get home which is a big turn off. Most other Toyota dealerships provide this service as a valued customer. read more

After some initial issues with the pricing and changing availabilities of our desired car, which was really frustrating, we were finally able to sort out a decent lease deal. Our sales agent, Belen, was really helpful and great to deal with, along with the sales manager Drew, they both worked really hard to get us a good price on the car. I would l recommend dealing with both of them. Unfortunately, their great work was undermined by the finance manager we were assigned to for the paperwork - I don't know his name as he never bothered to introduce himself - After we turned down the exorbitant package of extras he tried to get us to sign up for, he turned sullen and snippy - even taking a call during our session to complain to someone how he 'couldn't make it' to some event that evening, as he 'was stuck here' with us. Charming. I guess he was upset with us that he wasn't going to get any commision. Overall, it was an ok experience marred by his behavior. I wonder if dealerships will ever realize that the negative impact that agressive sells from people like this have on people's impression of them. read more

I cannot emphasize enough how incredibly easy the car buying process was with T Nguyen. I had already visited and spoken with some other dealerships before walking into Frontier (my local shop). I walked in off the street to just start getting some numbers and T greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile. From there, my experience only grew better. Even though the dealership was near closing time, that didn't matter to T. He treated me with respect and took his time. There was no rushing through the process. He allowed me the time to inspect the cars and test drive them. Afterwards we went to go run through numbers. Initially the price on the car was well over numbers I had gotten from other dealerships. T said "I will beat any price. I don't lose a deal." He stepped away and then sure enough he figured out a way to beat the lowest deal I had found and that was with calling about 5 different dealerships and haggling. T speaks the truth and will get you the best deal. The overall process was hassle free. From the time we agreed on price and started paperwork, it took about an hour before we were driving off the lot. Granted, it was at 8:30 at night, but it was the fastest process I've had. T cuts to the chase and doesn't BS you. While T works at Toyota now, he has 15 years of experience and can sell most any vehicle. So even if you want a different car than a Toyota, visit T and see what he can do for you. You won't regret it. I've never had "a guy" when it comes to buying vehicles, but after my process working with T, he has earned my business for the foreseeable future on all vehicles for my family and I will absolutely tell my friends to use him. read more

People say to never complain & send your food back to the chef because you'll receive a little "Hawk Tuah"!! We'll after sending my car back to have the mechanic replace a part he broke (see previous review), I received a big "Eff You". Although my initial serve paperwork showed the battery, clamps & cables were good, two days later I was stranded because my car appeared to have a dead battery. Wait for it....... Here comes. Miraculously the ground cable clamp had loosened causing the car to not start. I give the mechanic 5 stars for teaching me a lesson. And even though I purchased one of my two Toyotas from Frontier, I plan to drive to Hamer Toyota for my next service. I usually don't review unless it's positive, but we were charged ~$3,400 for "accessories" on a new car. I felt sick when we caught it two days after signing the contract. No documentation. We only realized the price of SOMETHING was added after the paperwork was signed (I know, shame on us for not reading too closely, being too trusting, bringing kids to sign paperwork). We bought on 4 Jan, alerted dealership on 6 Jan. Radio silence. We went through Costco to purchase the car after an auto accident. Our guard was down and we were trusting (we bought a car with them in 2020, which was a great experience). This is only the second car I have ever purchased from any dealership. Still waiting for an explanation from dealership. We called Costco and asked them to have someone call us (dealership wasn't returning our calls). Costco says they see the 3,400 was Cilajet and something else, which I think were the clear sticker guards used to protect the door (which are a few hundred dollars). To any unexperienced car buyers: Make sure the car price you agree to matches line 1.A.1 (no extended warranty, or any added features etc). If it's higher than your agreed upon price, ask why and request documentation. If you don't understand or are tired after a long day of work+kids, ask for a copy of the contract to take home and review. We should have. The sales manager, T, was INCREDIBLE. He's the type of dude who GETS IT DONE and makes sure you're leaving happy. He got us as close as humanly possible to our target price of purchase all while being extremely transparent about each step of the process. He even gave us the best resell for my RAV4 to put that all towards a newer safer car for me and my family. He recognized my wife and I juggling our one year old so he made the transactions as painless and as fast as possible, he even gifted our daughter a coloring book and an animal face mask to play with. Honestly one of the best experiences I've ever had at a dealership -- and no, this is not a paid ad -- I was just super blown away by how attentive he was. I've been getting my car serviced here for oil changes for the past couple of years. With the last oil change, I was recommended a long list of services that I was told I needed, totaling up to almost $5,000. My car is about to reach 98k miles, so I figured maybe it's just the car getting old and needing more repairs. But I politely declined, as my mom has a mechanic friend that owns his own car dealership and repair shop up in the Bay Area, and we normally go to him for his expertise on what we need to get serviced. I had him take a look at my car, and he couldn't believe the prices and suggestions they made for me. Something that costs a couple hundred for him was going to cost me almost $5,000 here. He also noted that my car was in good shape and only suggested a new set of tires. Safe to say, I won't ever be coming here again. Without question the worst car buying experience I've ever had. Started out well enough. Made a reasonable deal on the car I wanted, took about 3 hours. Part of that deal was that they would cover an upside down balance on my current vehicle at another dealership. Cool. I was told they worked it out with a dealership in the valley and had cut them a check. All we have to do is take the car in, sign some paperwork and done. When I got to said dealership they had no idea what I was talking about and needed $4000 to cover the balance. When we called Frontier from the dealership in the valley they said there was a mistake and they would not honor that deal and that I needed to bring my new car back. My wife and I sat in their lobby for 2 hrs waiting to cancel the contract with finance before we were approached by a salesman and told we would need to renegotiate, put down more money and add her name to the contract before they would honor their original deal. Such a slap in the face and a total waste of a day. Not to mention they ran my credit multiple times before running my prequalified loan through. I was at that dealership from 9am-7pm. Left with no car, my credit a mess and had to Uber home because my wife left with my old car. I still had to go back the next day to finish paperwork. Absolute sh*t show. read more

This dealer took a deposit for a new car, and I informed them that I could not take delivery until the end of June I was given a receipt with a VIN number. At no time was I told that they could only hold the car for 72 hours. Yet they were happy to take my deposit. When the car arrived they sold it to someone else. They said they would get another one, which was fine because I couldn't take delivery until later. Well, that car arrived and I was told that it was being prepared for sale. I verbally stated that I would buy it and just wanted to get some pictures to make sure that it was identical to the original one. The pictures were never sent and when I reached out to them, they said the car was already sold. When I called them, they said they were "sorry" and then for the first time mentioned the "72 hour" hold. After that, I called the sales representative, and she literally told me she had to "clock out" and hung up on me. After speaking with the manager and the general manager ( they were fairly rude) and said basically we got a third car but honestly after the treatment I received, why would I or anyone else want to do business with a company like that? I said no, and I am supposed to get my deposit back. The attempts to replace the original vehicle were made because they were in breach of contract (according to DMV) so they are saying "we did everything possible to get you another vehicle)" And to repeat myself, I ALWAYS said I would buy the vehicle. I wish I had gone elsewhere to buy my car. Previously, I had a fantastic experience from buying to maintenance. Sadly, those days are long gone. It's my fault for not walking after the agreed upon price got jacked. The manager didn't know that I knew the price had dropped. I was in a bind and needed a car quickly. Very typical used car salesman BS. Sketchy. After that I was supposed to be reimbursed for my $70 Uber fare. The check never got mailed. I called but just got passed around.. If you have any problems with the car and I have... they will give you the runaround. I can't stop my life and have my car towed, hoping they are open because they wouldn't take 5 minutes to put in a new battery. Zero concern for the safety to their customers. It's always stressful taking your car to the dealership. You worry about getting price gouged, pressured into services you probably don't need or want. Luckily I didn't face that type of experience. I called Frontier Toyota service dept, my car needed serious work, Carlos Perez answered, unbeknownst to me at the time I lucked out. Told him the noises my car was making, he recommended I bring my vehicle in. Met Carlos, very pleasant in nature, had a friendly conversation, got me a rental so I could go to work. I asked him to give me a good a deal, and he assured me he'd do his best. About an hour and a half later Carlos called and gave me a break down of the work needed done to my car. He was thorough, answered all my questions as to why the work needed to be done, didn't try to force or pressure me into anything. On my own volition I asked for additional services, cosmetic stuff, and overall he quoted me an excellent price and broke down each cost. He was extremely patient throughout the process, no smoke and mirrors, very transparent. I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage, as a consumer that gives you some relief. We agreed to the work needed done, he said my car would be ready between 4:30-5. I received a call from Carlos at 5pm on the dot, my car was ready.
