Terrible company! I originally had an inspection from Don but he failed to do his job and gave me and my realtor false information. Then when I found out about the mistake the team apologized until I spoke with the manager who denied any fault from his team. After arguing with the manager for an hour he agreed to do the service for a discount, a month later when they finally came out I was hit with a surprise charge of $3000. Lastly, a crew member left a ladder in my yard for a week. Terrible company and my realtor agreed, never go to these guys! read more

I asked 5 companies to quote for the repair and replacement of rake (edge) tiles, as we had had two fall off and smash windows. I got quote from 3 companies (one didn't work in this area, thanks Yelp) and one just failed to send me their quote. Frontline was very fast and professional. They did quote for more than I wanted as they insisted on checking out the entire roof and touching up any points where the roof was pierced by pipework or anything else. Nevertheless their quote was competitive and actually arrived (which was a plus in this bunch). The work was done quickly and when they said it would be. It remains to be seen how long it will last but I have to assume it was done right. read more

SWITCH TO ANOTHER ROOFER - This group accepted work for a leak repair through my home warranty provider. They scheduled people to visit a month or two months out. It rained multiple times between and the internal damage got way worse thanks to their lack of response. Ian finally came, took photos and neither I or the warranty provider heard another thing from them despite multiple follow-ups. Borderline fraudulent or just poor business practices. When I took the claim over myself, I had 3 roofers out with complete quotes within 48 hours. The take away is, if they are your assigned roofer from insurance, GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE as you will be neglected and ignored. read more

They took care of us right away! My husband build a gazebo and we wanted to match the roof to our home. Frontline came out right away and gave us a good price! We were given a date about a month out, but after speaking with the project manager they expedited it and got it done within a week of us contacting them. The workers did a good job, kept things clean and neat while working at out home and they were done in 2 days! Worst experience ever! Called for a leaking roof. Was told the technician would arrive at a certain time, and he showed up hours later, never called to say he was on his way. He conducted a brief walk thru, no pictures, didn't even check out my roof. I followed up the next day, girls who answer the phones are very unprofessional, act like they're being bothered. For the next 8 days, i received the runaround from them, as they first said they were waiting for their Technician's report, next they blamed my insurance company. My insurance company never even heard from them. They never submitted a report to my insurance provider. Dont wast your time with this terrible business. read more

I am absolutely appalled by the service from this business. I was told not once, but twice that someone would be at our home to assess an urgent leak/damage. No-one showed from 9-11 or from 3-5. I called them 4 times and on the last call, I was told that someone was on their way. An employee by the name of Luis called and verbalized he would not be coming to the home to inspect the leak/damage. He could do it all virtually. What a joke. My husband had taken the day off work and so did I. The lack of communication is horrendous and employees need to be held accountable for such incompetency from the very first call that was made. Don't waste your time or money with this business. I found them to be VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I spoke with management who verbalized "it was a virtual appointment" when no employee ever mentioned that to me, not once. Otherwise I would have called another company. BE AWARE! This review is regarding communication from the business. They no call/no showed on me twice and never followed up. I received my bid back in January for a flat roof for my patio and told them I wanted to proceed. They said they would contact me to schedule so I waited. On 1/31 they called at 6 PM and asked if they could do the work the following day because they were finishing a job in my area. I was out of town and said I would not be able to do that. They then said okay it will be another few weeks to which I said okay. I waited. Didn't hear anything so on 3/10 I called and asked what was going on and why no one had contacted me to schedule. Sabrina said she would talk to her project manager and then came back with, "we're planning for 3/27", to which I responded with can we do 3/28 because my I work that day. Being told when they're coming and not asking if that day works for the customer was off putting, but they said they could do 3/28 and that they would call me a day or two before to confirm times. So I waited, again. On 3/28 they didn't show up. I gave it until around 12:30 and called them asking why no one showed up when I was scheduled for work that day. Sabrina put me on hold and then told me the project manager would call me back. About 30 minutes later she does and says they've been backed up because of the rain, which is understandable, but if you're not going to be able to make the appointment date you need to communicate that and reschedule. So she says "we're planning for this friday" to which I said, I work that day and I can only do midweek so I asked if they could come on the following Wednesday. They agreed and I waited. The day came and went and no one showed up AGAIN. No call. No rescheduling. It's been over a month and I still haven't heard back from them. I didn't bother to call this time because I'm not going to chase a business for work if their communication is this bad. Judging by the previous review it seems like an ongoing issue, so just be aware if communication and scheduling is important for you, it's not for them. read more

Frontline Roofing was incredibly responsive and willing to adjust based on my customer needs. I had 4 companies come out and interview with me and provide quotes. Frontline was the most detailed and professional. They provided samples of the materials they were going to be using as certified installers for Corning. As I researched my options, I learned that the materials used really do matter, especially when it comes to the manufacturer's warranty. For example, if you want the full 50 year warranty from Corning; you have to use at-least 3 of their products in the project, and Frontline uses only Corning to ensure this. Other vendors I spoke to mixed and matched materials and half still used the old felt-type underlayment, yet still charged even more than Frontline. I was very specific about making sure that everything I wanted and had agreed upon was clearly written in our contract, and Frontline was very patient with me when we had to edit the contract twice to ensure that it was thorough. Once installation began, I was assigned a team of workers that were very diligent and extremely hard-working. My on-site crew lead was Cesar and he was great about keeping me up-to-date on the project, taking pictures to show me along the way, and navigating through the inspection visits with the City. The perfectly straight ridge vent work in the photos is all his work. During the installation, I was able to double check all of the materials to ensure that these were in-fact what I had ordered. At one point, I was able to have several lengthy conversations with Luis, my project manager, to discuss my different vent options based on my upcoming solar installation with another vendor. We talked thoroughly through the pros and cons of different vents and ultimately which would work best given the requirements of my solar project. Luis was very patient and willing to explain everything and provide resources. At one point, he even had the Corning rep call me directly to answer my questions. During the install, there had been a misunderstanding on the exact type of ridge vent that I had ordered. Again, Luis ensured that he located the specific one I wanted and had a crew member drive to another city to pick it up. I'll say this, I was not the easiest of customers because I am VERY detail oriented and like to do my research up-front. Frontline provided the professionalism needed to provide all of the best industry materials, answer ALL of my questions, and proceed with my full installation until I was FULLY satisfied. Cesar, the crew lead, even dealt with my belligerent and unreasonable neighbor very well and professionally when my neighbor complained about dust landing on his RV trailer that he refused to move during tear down. All-in-all, I would recommend Frontline a hundred times over. VERY professional, great quality materials, excellent warranty, no complaints with the BBB or Dept of Consumer Affairs (I checked that too), incredible employees, and they left my house looking exactly as they found it, minus the brand new perfect roof of course! read more

Luis came out to give an estimate for my roof replacement but didn't actually show any interest in my roof. Instead he wanted to spend the time giving me a canned presentation on the company from bullet points in a binder. I expressed multiple times that I'd feel more comfortable in him looking at the roof and my property and he got testy and sarcastic. He told me that they needed to evaluate me in addition to me evaluating them and turned around and walked away. I waited 2 hours for this nonsense. We found water dripping through our ceiling and knew that we had a roof leak. I called several places and front line roofing had the fastest response time. They were able to come out and diagnose the problem quickly. There was a little bit of lag time before the workers could get here and do the work but there was no longer rain forecasted so I was OK waiting. They did an excellent job repairing the damaged roof and replacing additional cracked tile that they found. The tile match was perfect. You cannot tell that my roof has been repaired. read more

I recently purchased a multi-unit property near the beach. Although the roof was supposedly new, it had serious problems. The building has several sloped roofs and 3 flat roofs. Frontline Roofing assessed the situation a repaired or replaced various areas of the roof. They made recommendations that will save me money in the future. Their crew was courteous and competent. In addition to the roof repairs, they resealed the Z-Bar flashing and water tested it. They also installed new fascia and rain gutters. I was impressed with the accessibility of Luis, the owner. He went out of his way to make sure this job was done right! I should also mention that this company is a preferred Owens-Corning contractor so they were able to provide a Preferred 50 year warranty. I am writting this review to hold this company accountable for an error that took 2 months of harassment and annoyance by them to me. It caused my neighbor to become verbally abusive to me when I was getting video and photos just incase nothing could be done about their error. A police officer had to come out and give them the information I got from the city, so that they could understand that this company made an error and that I didn't make all of this up. They are extremely unreasonable people....the company took out 2 permits on my home and just left them for me to deal with. It took them 8 weeks to finally get the information correct even after i called them and told multiple workers and contractors of the error. I got advice, to reach out to the city of Fontana for help...and they were able to help. You would think this nightmare is over, but like I said these people are unreasonable. My only hope is that this company took responsibility and explained to them that it was their error because I doubt my neighbors bothered to call the city with the information the police officer gave them. read more

We hired this company during such bad weather that we had to wait a few weeks, but in the meantime they stayed in touch, and kept on putting the tarp back on the roof for us! Very happy with the customer service and reliability of Frontline Roofing. The porch area of our new home needed some repair work- Julio came out to inspect the area that needed fixing, and also took the initiative to check out the whole roof where he saw some broken tiles also needed replacing. Overall, Hugo and his team came when scheduled, and the work was done promptly and professionally - they even resealed and repainted the chimney stacks, as well as replacing 12 broken tiles. Later, while the whole house was being painted, the painters found some of the exterior trim was rotting. I called Julio in a bit of a panic, and he sent out 2 guys that weekend to remove and replace the pieces of wood trim so that the painters could continue. The cost of that replacement was very reasonable, but more than that, I appreciated the time saved from having to go find other companies- I trusted Julio and he came through! Our house looks great after the care that went into it. Highly recommend Frontline for any roofing needs. I will be calling them first when the time comes to replace my roof (hopefully not for a while!) :) read more

We had some wood rot and eaves and Korbels that needed repair and they did a great job. We discovered a leaky roof earlier this week, and they were able to return our inquiry call , come out and evaluate the roof, give us options, and repair it all within a few days. Buyer Beware! This company is completely unprofessional and I would hesitate using them. Despite being under contract, accepting our downpayment, the owner decided a week later he no longer wanted to do our job. He informed us they would not be sending anyone out and that the check would be return. I explained this was not acceptable as I had spoken to their office several times confirming the work we both agreed upon. At no time was I told that they could not complete the work. Now a week later, the owner decides to break the contract because he was not comfortable with the job (they agreed to!!! By California law it appears you have a right to cancel a contract after 3 business days in limited, extraordinary situations; however the owner of Frontline is cancelling AFTER the 3 day period with no extraordinary situation other than he was not comfortable with the job. Not even an apology or how I can help you, but a simple we don't want your job, no one is coming out, and we will return the check. Stay away! I would not use them to do your work! read more
