    Raw shrimp
    Norman L.

I ordered the chicken nibblers and shrimp from here and when it was delivered, I saw a raw shrimp in my order! Disgusting, what the hell? Don't recommend ordering or coming to this place. Update: I woke up this morning with a very sensitive stomach. I ate some chicken nibblers and drank the Oreo boba tea I ordered along with them and have been making frequent trips to the restroom. I really shouldn't have because everything must have been cross contaminated. With the way the shrimp was delivered, I have reason to believe this was an intentional decision made by one of the employees. The food was delivered as pictured which means that somebody saw the undercooked shrimp, put it in the container, shrugged, and sent it out for delivery. This place has people working that don't care about anyones well being. Never order from this place. I never will again.

    Medium sized boba drink

    - Only tried one of the drinks, but FrosTea has other dessert items available. - Drink came out quick. Ordered a medium and surprised to see it's a wide bowl size. Flavor was okay, but some of the boba tasted old/hard. - There are no seating areas at the moment.

    chicken nibblers (medium)

I ordered delivery from here with low expectations, and I have to say... FrosTea isn't that bad. It's old school boba, and akin to Quickly's - similar base menu items, artificial flavors, questionable ingredients... I feel bad giving a low rating, because technically they're sort of okay for what they are, but a ton of other places have better versions of what they offer. I liked the chicken nibblers, which tasted like cut up pieces of chicken tenders. What made it extra good was their house sauce, which is pretty much a sriracha aioli. I really liked the heat it brought - just enough to get a good kick in the flavor without being overwhelming. I had the medium box all to myself as a meal (yes very healthy), and it was enough to make me full. My black milk tea had enough honey boba to fill three separate drinks. I didn't take a great angle shot of it, but that thing is super wide even in medium size. The boba was not bad, though hardened within an hour. The slightly sweet option (between zero and half sweet) was definitely sweet enough, couldn't imagine having more. I liked adding the rose flavor because it's a pretty good hint of rose without tasting like potpourri. I liked the extra petal bits, too! The shaved snow was icy and sweet, and my fresh milk flavor tasted like icy condensed milk. I was hoping it wouldn't be too sweet, thinking that the milk flavor would be the most neutral out of their flavor selections, but they even drizzled a light sweet syrup over everything. The mochi tasted a little hardened as if it was previously frozen, and the fresh fruit of the day was banana with some brown spots. I do wish the best for this place, but I hope they realize that they need to modernize to stay in business now. Even Quickly's wised up and started changing their menu and adding more fresh ingredients. FrosTea should get rid of artificial sweeteners and flavors to instead make fresh homemade purees - people will then taste the difference. By offering so many different flavors, they're only really catering to little children with undeveloped taste - which, I guess if that's their only clientele, then I understand why they wouldn't change. Almost every boba shop now offers fresh taro and fresh avocado with their respective flavored drinks, so that's what people expect now. At the very least, they should have a couple homemade drinks that they can prepare, but as it stands, it looks like everything uses an artificial flavoring which doesn't taste good.

Haven't been here for over 5 years. This place brings nothing but good memories. Today was just not the case. They have a sign on the left side of the counter stating that if a customer gives them a review they'll give them a free large drink. I over heard the person in front of me take advantage of the offer and I tried to do so as well. After helping the customer in front of me clerk left for about 5 minutes without acknowledging me. She comes by and just says "go" expecting me to state my order. I tell her about the offer I want to take advantage of and she says that the offer is only valid hours after it has been done. I bring it to her attention that the customer in front of me has no issue with the offer being offered at the moment and she replies with "yes he will do it now" ... which begs to differ... why is it that I can't but he can? HOWEVER!! If you want a free large drink give them a review and show up next day or within a few hours!

Going to miss this place. Been going here for 7 years since they opened... my friends used to work here. Moved down to SoCal for school and came back for break to find that they had closed down :( though the sign is gone, my memories won't be forgotten. Used to study here after school waiting for the bus or to get picked up, walked here during COVID after playing basketball. Always fast, consistent... End of an era.

Chicken nibblers. The saddest bunch I have ever seen! Looks nothing like the other photos.

Ordered last night thru grubhub for pick up. Honey green tea w/ lychee jelly was good. But the chicken nibblers.... What. The. Hell?? I feel played. Also, if you're gonna put my drink and food in a bag and tie it up, please put a straw in there!! I had no straw for my drink.

    Avocado Smoothie

I got an Avocado smoothie with boba. It was super sweet like it was just syrup drink and powdery somehow. I'm sorry but this is the worst drink I've ever had. Avocado smoothie should make with the real avocado!! +boba was a little hard

Ordered the new chicken nibblers to try it out but was completely disappointed. First look it seems as if it was fried a long time ago and reheated to be served. First bite it was crispy but lacked any flavor and was a drier than other places' popcorn chicken. Not good but at least it was edible. Wouldn't return for the nibblers

Large strawberry lemon slushie with strawberry popping boba ($4.50 + $0.70 fancy topping)
    Kaitlyn C.

I love how this boba place has popping boba! It was a warm day when I first tried this place and it was so nice to have a slushie drink with some boba. I really enjoyed my drink as it was sweet but not crazy sweet. The strawberry lemon is a good combo and the popping boba was perfect to smooth the deal. For $4.50 for a large drink is a pretty good price and the drinks are huge. You can also select the sweetness and toppings that you want to add. I highly recommend coming here and the lines aren't long either!

Their medium sized boba tea is huge! It's more than a regular sized boba cup and doesn't fit the car cup holder. Luckily, I wasn't on the drive while sipping on it, but enjoying it a patio home. It was great lounging and snacking on their chicken nibblers with gyozas! Their hot items are lacking flavor. I like how you can add flavor to the tea. I ordered up lavender as the addition to calm my nerves. I ordered through DoorDash. Lovely.

They do not honor this reward for checking in

Accidentally decided to come here for boba and was quickly disappointed. They do not offer the yelp check-in and only offer 5 star rewards program. Ordered two drinks and a shaved snow. Fresh fruit was unavailable for the shaved snow so we were again disappointed. The drinks are powder based so just ok and make sure to alter sugar level otherwise drinks are overly too sweet. Probably will never come back here.

Proof that my drink came out before my girlfriend finished ordering.

This area of San Francisco/Daly City is honestly a bit deprived of milktea, and having this as an option is really sweet. I am personally a big fan of taro drinks and thai drinks, so when I can, I like to mix the two together. My cousin enlightened me about this mix, calling it of course "Thairo". I of course ordered it at FrosTea and really liked it. For the size I got, it was also a wonderful value, something I wouldn't expect this far up the peninsula and appreciate very much. The employees were super nice while we ordered, were playing some good music(Shout out Zico - Any Song), and were super fast with the drink. No time was wasted, I think upon me ordering, the girl behind the girl taking my order got started, and had it out before my girlfriend could finish her transaction. I have no complaints, only compliments. Looking forward to ordering the same drink again :-)

Friend asked to try this place out so I did! I don't really like driving to tgis part of town though and parking is a pain. Having to walk three blocks on Mission St also wasn't my favorite. The shop itself was cute. Very clean, fresh, and tasteful. Staff waa friendly, too. Got myself a regular milk tea. It was okay... good. The tea flavor wasn't my favorite but it was decent. The chubby cup was very cute though and made it stand out from other placea. It was a little bit for my hands so I kinda had to hold it with two hands :)

Although there are some good bars in Russian Hill there is also a place to grab a non alcoholic beverage such as Matcha and Boba. Its a good refreshing drink to have on a Winter with sun. On a Super Bowl stroll wandering in San Francisco this Boba shop place is one of my favorites and it's located in Russian Hill. They serve everything from Ube Vietnamese coffee to Tiramisu lattes. They serve sweet and the sour in SF. I had to try the Matcha Royale- Strawberry with a splash of mango. The drink was colorful with bright red strawberry and Matcha green. It was not too sweet and the strawberry was a bit sweet and the splash of mango made it tasty. The ceremonial matcha was smooth and just right for Don Juan de la Matcha. They sell a ham & cheese croissant, coffees, teas, lattes, and four flavors of Japanese shaved ice called kakigori, which is the star of the show. The texture of this shaved ice is like fluffy cool softness that melts in your mouth. It is different than the traditional shaved ice and it is far from a snow cone. We ordered mango and kinako (a roasted soybean flour commonly mixed with sugar). These are large desserts! It takes time to make them since there are fresh ingredients inside. The mango was superb with little bits of fresh mango buried inside the ice. Not sickeningly sweet like the syrups most places use. My husband's had little mochi pieces mixed inside. It is common to add kinako to mochi so this was a bonus and a nice surprise. The kinako dessert was sweeter than the mango. Please know that there seems to be no a/c in this little shop but she has fans going. We went in the late afternoon so it was really uncomfortable inside. I had to leave and wait outside until the dessert was ready. It's hard to take these home as it melts fast so we sat inside to enjoy them. It was like heaven in my mouth and it cooled me down instantly. You must be patient as it takes at least 10-15 minutes for her to prepare the desserts but it is worth the wait! There is a small parking lot right in front shared with other businesses. Located right off the freeway behind Burger King.
