Ooooh this was good ice cream. We were a little surprised at the prices ($9 for a regular) but it made sense once we received our ice creams. Portion sizes are pretty large and had a great amount of toppings and each marshmallow/crème brûlée is toasted to order. There's a lot of seating inside, but we didn't see any outside which would've been nice as it was a beautiful day. Service was super friendly and the guy at the counter was quick to offer an explanation of the menu since it was our first time there. Great spot for a sweet treat! read more

Think this is where that black salon used to be. Quite a bit spot for an ice cream place. Grabbed a regular Nutella cup. It comes with Chocolate Cocoa Puffs. $8.11. The ice cream is smooth as expected from the nitrogen ice. There is a big gob of Nutella on top of it, which toppled down. :( Not too bad. Smooth and crunchy with the puffs and oh so yummy with the Nutella. Happy to see a nitrogen ice cream shop downtown. read more

Having more than one vegan option and it not being some whip? Sign me up! I tried the vegan coffee with strawberries and it was delicious. My only complaint was it was really soft and melting before I even got it but it was a humid July day so I imagine it's harder to freeze it, nitrogen or not, in those conditions. It still tasted great! For him, he got the fruity pebbles milkshake and it was very impressive. I am still amazed at the 4 full size marshmallows with fruity pebble garnish. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, as it was our first time in, explaining how the menu worked, and the specialty flavors. You get to watch them make it with the nitrogen and there is plenty of room and tables inside. We chose to take ours on the go and walk around downtown. Also, I love the location. There is plenty of easy access parking nearby and it's located right next to Royal Oak Music Theatre. I can't wait to come back and try more flavor combinations! read more

WOW!!! Literally the best ice cream ever!!! I am an ice cream lover and this is by far the best!! Had high expectations based on what they advertise (freshly made, real ingredients) and the actual thing exceeded my expectations!! Flavor is 10/10. Tastes exactly like tiramisu cake except as an ice cream. Super smooth. No ice bits. All just creamy tasty tiramisu goodness in your mouth. Service is also amazing! Best new ice cream spot in the area! It is a little pricey but worth it in my opinion. I got a small and it was the perfect size treat. The staff was very friendly, helpful and explained their process to me when I told them that I'd never been before. The ice cream has the smoothest texture and it's so creamy. They freeze dry it on the spot so you can watch them make it. They have a couple of preselected options or you can make your own. I got the crème brûlée and it was cool that they torched the top of the ice cream. It tasted like vanilla with a hint of caramel but the quality was so good, the subtle flavor was perfect. The cups are too small to have a lot of toppings so I wish that they would put the same amount of ice cream in a bit bigger cup so that you'd have room for toppings. My crème brûlée had one tiny piece of a strawberry on it. read more

Unfortunately they used to be over on 15 Mile and Sterling Heights but they moved into Royal Oak so they're not as convenient for me anymore. Otherwise I'd be going there frequently. After seeing such positive reviews on Yelp, my friend and I were really excited to try the nitrogen ice cream here. Before I review the ice cream, I just wanted to give a big shout out to the employees (and the lady who probably manages/owns the shop) for their amazing service and hospitality. The lady was very nice and checked in on us and gave us recommendations. The cost of the nitrogen ice cream was pretty fair - a double scoop was only $6.05 (and you could choose a topping for free, if I recall correctly). "PISTACHIO" HOUSE MIX - 6.05 I got this because I wanted to try something a bit more unique. I also love pistachios so this was perfect. The amount of ice cream for how much I paid was definitely worth it. However, I noticed off the bat how green the ice cream one - almost like shamrock shake green and less so pistachio green. After a few bites, I couldn't really get myself to love it. Besides the pistachio pieces in the ice cream, the flavor itself didn't taste like pistachio and felt artificial. The texture was creamy and thick but nothing extraordinary. "COOKIES AND CREAM" HOUSE MIX - 6.05 My friend got this and felt similarly. Besides the Oreo chunks, the vanilla ice cream by itself lacked any vanilla flavor. The ice cream was pretty bland and underwhelming. Overall, fantastic service and reasonable pricing for nitrogen ice cream. (I'm not vegan, but dairy usually messes me up, so it's nice to have options sometimes) We ended up getting the Oreo creation with vegan vanilla ice cream. I'd overall give it 3/5 stars - I've had better vegan ice cream but I've also had worse. It's topped with an Oreo cookie. The rest of the menu looked delicious as well, and when we arrived, the staff asked us if we had been to iFreeze before, and walked us through the menu. When we left, a staff person asked us how everything was, too; good customer service. I'd definitely come back here but probably would try a dairy flavor. I was impressed by how many vegan options they had, though, and none of them were an upcharge either. A regular-size ice cream is $5.45 normally and a large ice cream is $5.95. Everybody was nice and welcoming, giving us some advices as we were there for the first time. We also got a free bottles of water due to extreme hot temperatures outside. I went with vegan cookies and creme with a dollop of vegan whipped cream and my hubby got a normal ice cream from their already existing combinations - nutella. Decided to go with large size, but next time the regular will be totally enough, the amount of ice cream you get is really generous. I've gone here multiple times now. My one friend is vegan and she absolutely loves coming to this place as do I. They have so many options whether your gluten free, dairy free, or straight up vegan. They also have nitro ice cream which they have many flavors for. I ended up getting a cookies and creme milkshake (to die for), my friend tried the vegan lucky charms ice cream (delicious), my boyfriend got the s'mores Ice cream and they definitely present it very well, and then the banana split was the last thing. Everything was so good, the owner and her son were working today and they are so pleasant I just wanna keep coming back because of there hospitality. They offered to put our ice creams in the freezer if we couldn't finish it while we sat and talked so we could have it later. I will be coming here for all my ice cream needs once the summers hits. Hooray for this place! My kids have been talking about liquid nitrogen ice cream for awhile.. I've cooked dinner the last couple of weeks with no real treats out. (Ever get sick of dining out or take out- that was me) Anyways, I pulled up nitrogen ice cream and it suggested a few. I ended up here even though there were some closer to home and I'm grateful I did. We walked into a busy new business. We didn't have to wait to place an order. They have a loyalty program where you add your phone number and after 10 visits or 10 ice creams you get one free. I know most people don't think that's great but I have 4 kids. So it's 2 visits. As I was getting squared away the owner who was doing the cashing out noticed my last name. She commented that she too was Macedonian. I am not, but I hold the last name. She was super sweet, just ensuring everything was as we expected. She even took time out to come over and talk to my girls in Macedonian and ask how their baba (gma) and Dedo (gpa) are? Just super sweet. They were busy, so for her to take time out and come over and ask how things were made it so homey. She even added a bit more nitrogen to my kiddos ice cream to keep them frozen till we made the trek home. The inside is bright but warm. The floor is blue sparkle. Soo cool! They (everyone from staff to owner) were super sweet. We got 6 ice creams and it was $33. Not my normal $1 stuff I usually try to pawn off to stay out of these places but it was so good. Amazing staff! We originally stopped by Milkster and was very disappointed. The toppings were extremely stale and had maybe 3 flavors to choose from. We ended up having to ask for a refund, and instead, stopped here. So glad we did! Many flavors and toppings to choose from, and it's fresh!
