I thought "Well I like Mochi, and I like hot dogs". As David passed by I asked him where his restaurant was and he pointed out the window as it was just across the parking lot. I came out to the car and suggested to my husband we go try the Mochi Dogs and he thought that was a good idea. We came in and David recognized me from the bank. He is a very friendly guy, and very helpful with explaining the drinks menu as there are lots of choices. He also offered choices for the Korean Hot Dogs: All dog, or the dog with cheese and the breading can also include potatoes. We opted for all dog and plain breading. I ordered a drink with Boba, light ice with almond milk and Thai Tea flavoring. I had the option of really sweet or less so and I chose the latter. I think I might order the more sweeter option next time. There was about a 10 minute wait for the dogs to cook so I sipped my drink while we chatted. The hot dogs were hot (very) so you know they were freshly cooked. Nice and crunchy, served on a stick. Ample size and I would imagine with the cheese and potatoes added they would be very filling. The bill came to $29.00 with a tip added. I think the cost was reasonable for a unique type of fare. Two drinks, and two dogs. I plan to bring my Korean friends to try the Mochi like fried dogs and see what they think.
