The was one rude person who cut a few people off. The wind was mild and a smell of rain was in tbe air , there are a couple of open shops in the area. So foot traffic is abundant . people standing outside of the cars or going to the close by cannabis shop . This stand has been here awhile you can tell by the royal customers . I visited for lunch last week after hearing so many people raving about this drive thru burger place. Went at lunch time and It was packed, as it is expected but yet we got our food quick. The menu is simple. The order was taken promptly and employees are friendly! We ordered the patty melt, the 1/4 pound bacon cheeseburger, fries and a side of fry sauce. The patty melt had cheese, grilled onions, it was ok, smaller than I thought it would be (my favorite patty melt is from Whataburger a chain located in Texas, so I judge other patty melts as to how they compare), for the bacon cheeseburger, lets say the bacon was the highlight, meat was a bit dry, I added some of the fry sauce and it actually made it a bit better. The fries were good, even when they are cold, it is worth mentioning that. This is a place to get a quick burger fix, it was not the best burger I have had but I might go back to give it another try. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for years and finally did tonight. From the moment I entered the parking lot to leaving I was there an hour- not just because of the long line (I knew it wouldn't be quick and that was okay), but once we got to the window and they handed us the food, only half of it was there. I parked and my daughter ran up to the window and it took them literally (I timed them) 20 min to remake our order because "they didn't know what happened to the other burgers we ordered". It was raining and cold and they were not friendly about it at all. She was soaking wet once they finally handed her the food. There was someone else waiting for his messed up order as well. The milkshakes were runny, the fries cold, and the garden burger I ordered soggy and gross because of the massive amount of mushrooms they put on it (which I didn't want). Also, their payment system makes it look like you need to tip even though it's a drive through establishment. I tipped but wished I hadn't after that experience. I saw another comment that said tips aren't expected but it definitely doesn't seem that way when you are paying. I wish they didn't have the fish burger like the last time we asked when we came. Their menu says a "halibut burger" this is definitely a pressed fish burger. The company I work for has an office about a mile away and I'm not sure why it took so long for me to check this gem out. Their double cheeseburger minus pickles really does it for me. Super fresh and tasty. Their fries are piping hot and salted to perfection. I also ordered the halibut sandwich which was better than expected. The line moves quicker than expected. I don't get what the hype is all about. And for the name, I'd expect cheaper prices. I ordered the 1/4 bacon cheeseburger combo with grilled onions and a side of fry sauce. Almost a $10 meal, not frugal at all! The burger itself was pretty good no complaints there. The fry sauce was nothing special, I would not pay $0.35 again or eat it even if it was free. My biggest reason for the 3* was the baby fries I got with my order. Maybe it's because I'm used to eating burgers at RJ's and they load up a nice amount with every burger. But they are also similar to McDonald's fries (in flavor and size), not my favorite. I think I'll stick with eating burgers at my fave joint RJ's burgers for a lot cheaper but glad at least I have another place a try. read more

Everything is amazing! The restaurant did have an incident where they had some sanitation concerns but they corrected it quite quickly and thoroughly. I have lived in Tacoma all my life and recently moved to Portland. I easily justify driving 2.5hrs to pick up some burgers from here. The food is absolutely amazing and for a relatively cheap price (cheaper than most of the major fast food chains.) unfortunately there is 0 seating options but the building is very unique and easily identifiable. read more

I have just ate at an expensive restaurant and where you would expect top level service and it did not happen at all. However!!! Lay brought top dining customer service. Hope the owners see this review because in times like this it is difficult to retain good folks. Onto the flavor of these items!! Yummy yummy yummy.
