Not sure I can call this place a "hole in the wall" since it's right on the Venice Boardwalk, closer to the street than the beach side. I had just finished a workout at Muscle Beach and was looking for something like an acai or Jamba Juice type smoothie. I ended up running across Fruit Gallery instead. I wanted something healthy but also fairly calorie dense after training. I can't remember exactly what I ordered, but one look at the menu and it was pretty obvious which smoothie checked all the boxes. Parking is a bit rough but it's on Westminster corner, they have unbeatable prices. The juices are freshly made and so is the food. I got the sunrise sausage burrito that was only $10 and a large green juice that was also $10.25! The burrito is massive and well seasoned, but don't forget to grab your hot sauce. For venice pricing this is amazing. The lady at the front is so sweet! There are two stools you can sit on and wait for the side table for the car if you can sit outside and eat. Right off Venice Beach boardwalk on a charming side street is this gem! Smoothies salads and healthy wraps. The ladies working were great. A regular customer helped me decide. I haven't been here in a long time. They have switched locations but it's actually a better location for them. Only a few store fronts down from where it was. It has more room inside than the old place. They have lots of fun local art on the walls. I have only tried basically the wraps but they were so good I never wanted to try anything else. I would crave them too. I also love their sauces. They have delicious sauces. The pesto is really good. They gave me a lemon honey poppyseed to try last time and that was tasty. I would probably put that in a salad. My mom ordered the Greek salad and that looked amazing! They hade definitely stepped up their game since I have been. They plate things beautifully. I should try more things on the menu but it's hard when you crave something that you just have to have. The only call out I have, I wished they had more comfy outside seating to stay and enjoy a little longer. Especially since you have an ocean view sitting outside. read more

I was pleasant back to her. Terrible customer service. Then I got the salad. I took one small bite. It was terrible, with spoiled, bitter tuna. I immediately brought it back and told her. She called another person named Nina, who was even nastier and refused to give me an alternative food for my money or a refund, stating, "I don't give refunds." This is a small little spot on the Venice beach Boardwalk. We stopped here for a quick bite in the afternoon because we saw a sign that said vegan tacos. They have meat, vegan and vegetarian food and a wide range of smoothies. We got vegan tacos, for $3.75 each. The tacos were small but for the price it made sense. They were super tasty with two really great sauces drizzled on top. The vegan meat was seasoned well like steak and tasted delicious! After eating one each, my husband and I wish we ordered more! Haha, but the line was really long behind us so we didn't. It's a small spot so there's no seating inside but there are two tables outside for customers. It's right on the boardwalk so most people probably order to go and eat else where anyways. The smoothies looked great, most of the people were ordering them. The staff was nice and friendly. I love the sorbet acai bowls and they give you a lot for the price, HOWEVER the only reason why I say I would give this place a 3.5 is because some of the fruits didnt taste as fresh. Strawberries and banannas tasted fresh EXCEPT for the pineapple and mangoes. Stay away from this unsanitary nightmare. First they try to pass frozen pineapple as juice. They blend it in their blender and who knows what they use for liquid. So when I said this was a smoothie and not a juice, I told them that I will take a fresh squeeze OG instead. In retrospect, I should have accepted her offer to give me my money back, but I really wanted to give this place a try. It has a cool vibe, but then I became horrified. As she cut my oranges in half to squeeze them, she purposely rinses her dirty hands over the halved oranges.
