Pink Elephant's ice cream seems to be from Thrifty. Thrifty makes good ice cream, but it costs way more here than it does at Rite Aid. Location location location I guess. The prices here are just a little too high, which is annoying, but that's true of most places on the boardwalk these days. I like the pink elephant statue. And it's a comfortable enough place to sit and eat ice cream if you need a break from the beach or boardwalk. I've been here at least a few times. I've only had the ice cream so far. I'm guessing I'll go deeper into the menu at some point. The service has been friendly enough. read more

Above and beyond in terms of flavour and presentation! I'm "older" now but I swear I felt like I was a kid at a birthday party all over again!! The ice cream flavours are super good and not at all bland like those cheap flavours some stores basically throw at you! Nice huge place for coffee and crepes on Venice beach. Good decor both outside and indoor. Plenty of seatings. We took morning capuchino coffee and it didn't taste so great. Got an açaí bowl here. Cost $15 and the acai wasn't even 1 inch deep and there was ANY açaí in the middle. We were bamboozled. It was tiny and not worth it. Would not recommend. I'm so annoyed. He has you "go sit down" while he makes it, that alone should let you know something is up. read more

This place has the best sandwiches ever! They just opened a few weeks ago and are amazing! I'm in love with their chicken mozzarella sandwich, it's grill (hot sand which) and incredibly tasty! I've also had their tuna sandwich which is incredible - it was the one I was addicted to before I found out about the chicken mozzarella. All their food is made with so much love, you taste it!
