This was a great find after a yoga workout nearby. It was pretty quiet even on a weekend when we walked in, so we didn't feel bad pondering over their menu board for a long time. At first the green mango smoothie caught my eye, but they also posted a drink and smoothie special for the month. So when I saw this month was dragon fruit smoothie was chia pudding, I knew I had to get it! The drink was a beautiful bright pink from the dragon fruit. $7 for a medium size was not too bad. I love the chia pudding on the bottom. A great pick me up snack! read more

We had a fun afternoon at Children's Pool and decided to stop in for a drink on the way back up to our place in Carlsbad. There is a menu posted outside so we could let the kids look and linger before heading in. Two decided on a watermelon slush, and two decided on a strawberry lemonade slush. My husband had the Hawaiian fruit punch smoothie and I had the berry berry good smoothie. As we walked out, the kids exclaimed, "This is better than Jamba Juice!" Super yummy, clean, and kind! Seating was available outside, though we opted to take ours to go. {There was also a restroom for customers which was super appreciated when the three year old announced he needed to go potty. } We would definitely go back when in the area again!! read more

This is my second time here. The first time was random, but today was intentional! Fruittitude offers a variety of healthy goods as well as some yummy treats! Can't beat yummy goods, sweet staff and a great place to work! I grabbed a matcha slush with almond milk and boba. It was a sweet treat after a morning of auditions. I will definitely be back to try more things off their expansive menu! This was our early morning healthy-eats stop before kayaking. We came in at open and got a couple of dishes each, including acai bowls, juices, and wraps. Location is clean and welcoming and I like the variety of dishes available, and their many teas. Food itself seemed to be hit or miss, and I tossed half my wrap. The acai bowls were great, particularly the coconut option. There was one lone employee working in the morning and it took nearly an entire half hour to get our order. We didn't mind, but I wouldn't advise coming in a hurry, as several other reviews also mention long wait times. First timer here and it was delicious. I was disappointed that they ran out of boba but I guess that's what happens when you arrive an hour before closing. I got the Hawaiian Fruit Punch fruit smoothie and omg, SO GOOD! It does not taste like the cheap Hawaiian Fruit Punch juice that you can get from Walmart. It's made with fresh fruit and it tastes more on the pineapple sweet/sour side. It definitely tastes fresh and amazingly delicious and refreshing, especially after a day at the beach/cove. They have free WiFi and the location of this place is pretty peaceful so you can definitely stay, chill, work in here (but it isn't really a Starbucks feel as this place is a lot more bright and open doors). Highly recommend! read more

I ordered the avocado toast from here, and it was one of the worst avocado toasts I ever had. It had an ABUNDANT amount of pickled daikon on it, that I forgot there was even a pesto sauce on it. They may well call this a pickled daikon toast. $13 for this? There wasnt even an egg, or any option to get a protein. My friend got a watermelon slush and it was literally just as you'd guess: watermelon blended with ice. Nothing mind-blowing and worth coming for. This past weekend I was selling my work at La Jolla Art and wine and REALLY wanted a boba all weekend. When my husband showed up on Sunday he went to get me one. He came back with two of the absolutely foulest bobas I've ever had. They were massively over sweetened. It tasted like drinking straight syrup. I really wanted that boba (and my husband felt bad returning the drinks) so I tried pouring out half of it and filling it up with water -- it was still overly sweet, and almost all of what we ordered went straight into the trash. I also suspect that there was some amount of dairy in the drink because of the emergency bathroom issues I had the rest of the afternoon. Really glad I didn't drink any more of it. It was a big bummer. read more

First time here. All the way from Indiana! The service was TOP notch and the menu was thoroughly explained. They are pet friendly and include a non public CLEAN restroom. Just steps from the beach. I chose the Hawaiian fruit punch and even got the sip on the excess where other places just waste it. I also received a shot of my friend's to try. Anytime I'm in San Diego, you have my business! Something got into your girl cuz I am all on the "acai bowl" bandwagon hype train or whatevuhs.....basially walking around downtown La Jolla and I legit stumbled into this place. I was like "hmmmm, I am craving something fruity", I look up and what do I see infront of me? This place. It was a true calling out for me. This place will get chu your healthy fix, no doubt about it. I am talking; juices, smoothies, bowls, and sweet lil' macaroons if you feel like being naughty. No one will judge you, do your thing. Now, warning....I am very boujee when it comes to my smoothies. None of the smoothies stood out to me as one's I would get... however the bowls did have a girl hooked... They had me at "coconut acai bowl". That is the one I ordered and it does take around 5 minutes to make. Yes they go by very slow when you are hungry (almost like standing infront of the microwave waiting for it to beep kind of annoying) but I promise it's worth it. They are making that thang FRESH and right there infront of your own eyes...BAM! Nonetheless, this was a tasty bowl. Price is around $9 a pop....it is a good amount but I wish their was a lil' more granola....just food for thought thats all. read more

May and her team ( Daniel, Lidia, May 2.0) at Fruititude are top notch and a huge gift to La Jolla! The only Boba in town and it's next level. May uses fresh organic produce and The Mango Tango -one of my favorites - is not only fresh mango but also freshly squeezed mango puree. So good! My other go to- the Energy Booster, a delicious and decadent smoothie w/ chocolate, banana, espresso and peanut butter. I add protein in there and bamm you've got lunch! And of course I always add boba (makes me feel like kid;) I only get smoothies and acai bowls but I get one almost everyday so trust me when I tell you Fruititude is a gem! read more

The class gave us a really deep stretch and left me feeling relaxed and refreshed in a way I wasn't expecting. The space also has a big yoga dome right next door and a restaurant serving up a great selection of healthy food, which is a nice bonus before or after class. Just a couple things to keep in mind: parking can get tricky so give yourself extra time, and spots in the class fill up fast so make sure to book ahead. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a workout that's fun, unique and actually feels good for your body!

And of course with all these tik tok famous places the price was inflated. Based on taste alone I could have given this place 4 starts but the extra tik tok tax(inflated price just for being TikTok trendy) and extra wait time for the exact same thing you can get anywhere else rubbed me wrong so I'm going to have to leave this 3 star right here.

Even if you end up getting through the line to order, there doesn't seem to be a guarantee that there will be a table for you as seating was relatively limited. I ended up getting a to-go order since I didn't want to wait in line, but was a bit disappointed in the food given the hype. The California burrito was good but could have been more flavorful and the fries could've been crispier, and the mango sticky rice matcha was great in concept but the matcha flavor could've been stronger in execution.

I completely understand that it comes with the size of the store, but it can make the experience feel a little less relaxed. I do wish there were some outdoor seating or a bit more space to hang out, because the aesthetic really lends itself to that kind of environment. Overall, it's a really cool shop with a strong identity and great products--just a few small tweaks could make the experience even better.
