    Sesame Chicken

I came here for take out dinner for Christmas Eve. It was incredibly busy, and when I received my food, I can see why. The food is really good, I ordered the chicken chowmein , broccoli beef, and sesame chicken. My favorite of the 3 items I tried would have to be the sesame chicken. But all of the food was very good. I would definitely eat here again.

I was craving some fried rice and ordered the combo fried rice with egg flower soup. Unfortunately, this did not hit the spot. The rice grains were hard, the fried rice was bland, the soup was also bland. However, 5 stars for service. The lady who took my order met me outside (to go) and delivered my food with such a pleasant attitude.

Looooved this spot! We ordered takeout over the phone and when we got there, the woman was so sweet and brought it out to the car. The food was delish! Just what we were looking for in a Chinese takeout night. We got beef with broccoli, chow mein, and sesame chicken.

This is probably another low key hidden gem restaurant spot around Highway 99. After Covid, they only do take out now. So, no dine in. Call before going. They got plenty of good deal and food on their menu. It's definitely tasty and worth it. I came here couple of times already!

Take out Only - Service (5/5) - The woman who took our order, was very friendly and super excited. She specially came outside to deliver the food also, give us a menu if we would like to order it again. Food (4/5) - We ordered vegetable handmade noodles/chow mein and one chicken kung Po with rice. The vegetables in chow mein were very fresh and flavorful. The handmade noodles (+$4) were totally worth it. The sauce in Kung Po chicken was subtle and flavorful. Quantity (5/5) - The total bill was $40 for two people. We ate in dinner as well as lunch ($10 per meal)

This was our first time getting takeout/food from here. We both got orange chicken and rice. The food was AMAZING. Loved the chicken and the rice went perfectly. The service was wonderful and the staff were insanely friendly. My friend and I had a great experience here. The prices were impressive as well! This was very worth it, and I'll definitely be going back.

Takeout only! This is by no means a "traditional" Chinese restaurant but we will definitely start including this place in the rotation for when we're feeling some Americanized Chinese food. We ordered the beef chow fun, broccoli beef, and orange chicken and it was all good! I think the prices were a tiny bit high but since it's takeout it works out in the end. The owner was so nice too, we want to support and try more dishes here!

For mains, we ordered the ribeye and the grilled sablefish. The sablefish was delicious and a nice change from more standard fish dishes I've had before. The puree it came with was good, but the dish, I thought could've been served warmer. The ribeye had a weak sear and chewy, unrendered fat making it tough and difficult to slice, and the cut itself was uneven with one end thicker than the other. The sauce ended up being overpowering rather than enhancing the dish. On a positive note, the service was thoughtful, and the view is absolutely stunning. In the end, I'd come back for the ambiance and maybe another seafood dish, but skip the steak next time.

We were sat right at the window, and even post sunset it is a nice ambiance. The restaurant was not overly crowded and we didn't have to wait long with our reservation. I do recommend getting a reservation though. The staff was friendly, helpful and on top of things. The food was good, but was pricey. We got the mushroom risotto and added scallops to it. To add 2 scallops was +$26 which is steep even for Seattle. The scallops were cooked really well, but I would still say the price tag wasn't justified. We also also had the Wild Alaskan King Salmon and the Sablefish in Sake Kasu . The salmon was okay, but nothing noteworthy. The sablefish was delicious, and I would definitely recommend. If you are looking for a special meal - anniversary, birthday, etc. - and want great views of the water then I think Ray's is a good choice. While the food is pricey, there are some solid options on the menu. But if you are just looking for some great seafood, there are better tasting and better priced places around Seattle that would be better suited.

So when I woke up still craving shellfish, RockCreek was the call. It was the right one. A dozen oysters to start: Kumamoto and Shigoku. Clean -- no grit, no sand. Whatever they're doing back there, it's working. The brine was full and present in every shell, and the mignonette hit that rare sweet spot of light but actually seasoned. The Winter Old Fashioned? Get it. It was so delicious. Then came the crab Benedict. The side salad alone was worth writing home about -- big, buttery, peppery leaves draped in one of those feather-light vinaigrettes that sounds simple until you try to replicate it at home and realize you can't. But the real star of the entire plate was the potatoes. Crispy outside, genuinely fluffy inside, seasoned with conviction. A masterpiece is not too strong a word. Closed with a glass of pink wine. Was eyeing the bottle with the piglet on the label, but it was bottle-only -- a distinction I find increasingly arbitrary as a former server and bartender. One day that policy will be a relic. Not yet, apparently. Best brunch I've had in Seattle in two years. Highly recommend.

We visited the Friday after Thanksgiving and arrived around 5 PM, hoping to beat the crowds--and luckily, we did. The restaurant was still fairly calm before the evening rush arrived. We had hoped to take advantage of Chinook's Happy Hour, but learned that the Happy Hour menu is only available at the bar, not at dining tables. Since we wanted an easy, relaxed conversation, we decided to stay seated at our table instead. Our server, Marilyn A, seemed a bit frazzled, likely because she had several tables to manage at once, but she was clearly trying her best to keep up and serve everyone promptly. We started with fresh Kumamoto and Totten Inlet oysters, which were delicious--clean, briny, and very fresh. For our entrées we ordered the wild salmon burger, salmon and chips, and the classic Caesar salad. All were enjoyable and satisfying choices, especially if you're in the mood for simple, well-prepared seafood. We skipped dessert since we had just returned from Leavenworth and had fresh sugar and gingerbread cookies waiting for us at home--a sweet ending we were already looking forward to. Overall, it was a pleasant early evening seafood dinner and a nice, relaxed way to wrap up the day.

We asked the oysters to arrive first and then the calamari, which were both before our main entrees. The server delivered exactly on the order and we really appreciated it. The ambiance easily is one of the most unique views in the city, I would say. Overlooking the rows of harbored boats, there does not exist many restaurants that can rival the ambiance here. Also, pretty much every seat in the house has the same view, so you really can't go wrong if you wanted to impress someone here. We went for lunch, but anytime of the day really works here. I've been here for a quick drinks at the bars too, which is also fun. All around the most well kept secret gem in all of Seattle!

Happy Crab offers a variety of fresh seafood; lobster, shrimp, scallops, mussels, crawfish and crab legs in different sauces ranging from mild to spicy. Their Happy Hour menu includes most of their regular menu items at a Happy Hour rate. For appetizers we had their coconut shrimp and sweet potato fries. The shrimp was crunchy and fresh and it tasted great with the dipping sauce. Plenty of food for two! For main dishes I built my own bowl with a 1/2 pound of scallops, fresh Biang Biang noodles with Cajun sauce and mild spice level. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The sauce and spices added a lot of flavor to the scallops. The noodles added an extra texture to the dish and complimented the scallops. There was so much food that I took the rest of it home! We came here because we wanted to try Cajun seafood boil with Asian influences. Washington Mussels & Clams Combo -- served with toasted baguette and white wine garlic butter. There was very little garlic flavor, and honestly, we all thought it tasted a bit bland. The seafood didn't seem super fresh either, and overall it wasn't worth the price. Mermaid Platter (served with 5 corns and 5 potatoes) -- includes 2 snow crab clusters, 1 lb head-on shrimp, 1 lb green mussels, 1 lb crawfish, and 1 lb sausage. The sausage was very tasty and well-seasoned. Unlike the typical seafood boil served in a bag, this one came in a pan. In my opinion, it looked prettier served this way, but the seasoning wasn't mixed evenly. Some parts were bland while other parts were delicious. The shrimp were large, but unfortunately overcooked. We also added the bang bang noodles to the Mermaid Platter. The sauce wasn't mixed very evenly either, so make sure to dip into the extra sauce at the bottom before eating. Also, if you order it, try to eat it while it's still hot. Once it gets cold, the noodles become hard and chewy.
