The quality of the food far exceeds the ambience. I can see why most of their business is takeout. I loved the moo shu chicken. It was a well made dish with fresh, tender "crepes". My other enjoyed the Mongolian chicken. He thought the sauce had great flavor. A friend had Mongolian beef and was equally satisfied. Good sized portions and friendly staff.

Went to Asian Kitchen in north Seattle for a family dinner and had a mixed experience. Service was pretty slow, even though there were only a few smaller tables seated. It took a long time for the food to come out, and when our entrees finally arrived, we weren't given rice. We had to go ask for it so we didn't end up eating everything else first. It felt like they might be understaffed, which didn't help the overall experience. The appetizer platter was a bit disappointing. The honey walnut shrimp didn't really land for our table -- though I will say the crispy coating was interesting and I appreciated that they used actual walnuts. The entrees were better. The chow mein was my favorite -- great smoky wok flavor, well seasoned, and just really satisfying. The seafood clay pot was also solid, with shrimp, fish, and tofu. The beef broccoli was nicely cooked too, especially the broccoli with garlic. Overall, there are some good dishes here, but with how slow the service was, I'm not sure I'd pick this spot again.

Ordered takeout from Asian Kitchen on Greenwood on a Sunday evening after discovering they had my favorite dish, egg foo young, on the menu. We ordered the house egg foo young, chicken chow mein, cashew chicken, and two orders of white rice. The food was delivered within the hour after ordering online. Everything was delicious and we had more than enough food to comfortably feed three people. The chicken was cooked perfectly in both dishes, and the flavors were spot on well-seasoned without being overly salty, which is something we often run into at other Chinese restaurants. I will definitely be ordering from Asian Kitchen again, and I'm excited to try more items from the menu next time! Will have to come dine-in at some point too.

A solid 4-star Chinese Restaurant with limited hours. Better than "meh" and short of "fabulous," but a definitely a repeat spot. Expensive. $146 for three people's entreès with appetizers (3) delivery and a tip. Definitely solid portions, but the downside is you have to add $3 per person for rice, which the meat dishes do not come with. I ordered for us Broccoli Beef (delicious), Almond Fried Chicken (better than most), and Cashew Chicken. Apps. included my go-to favorites: BBQ pork, Fried Pot Stickers (Gyoza) and double order egg rolls (vegan). Only problem with this order is they did not give the requested extra hot mustard for the pork or the extra gravy for the Almond Fried Chicken. Not a biggee. They close at 9:00 pm, so I recommend getting your DoorDash order in by 8:50. A lot of good dinner places close at 9:00 now, and after a while, fast food gets tiring.

Asian Kitchen is one of my favorite for takeout dinner as the menu offers dishes filled with vegetables that my husband and children enjoy. Even when busy the quality and taste of each is consistently great. I also greatly appreciate the portion as each dish yields enough to feed all 5 of us. On the weekends I recommend placing your order online to give the kitchen time to prepare your order ahead of your arrival being that the parking lot offers limited parking. Customer service is always pleasant, even when busy. We typically order to go, but there are ample dining tables inside. We will definitely return, and recommend!

Hands down my favorite Asian cuisine restaurant in the Seattle area!! Everything from the prices, the food, and the service was amazing. They gave very large portions and made sure you were taken care of. I will definitely be coming back here again soon!!

Solid American Chinese food, perfect for takeout. Service was super friendly and ordering online was a breeze. In this economy the family combo meal was a steal for our family.

We are looking for a Chinese restaurant to eat dinner and found one with good reviews and reasonable prices. Here's what we tried: - Pork Xiao Bao: $7.99 - Steamed Rice: $2 - General Tso's Chicken: $14.99 - Beef: $6 - Vegetable Spring Roll: $4.95 - Chicken HK Crispy Noodle: $14.95 - Salt and Pepper Fish (it's crispy; I thought it would be steamed with sauce, but we should ask first): $16.95 - Soda: $2 The food is tasty but very oily and salty which is normal for Chinese food. The guy serving us seemed to be part of the family that owns the restaurant, which was nice. It was a relaxed atmosphere, and we can consider trying another meal here next time!

We went to this restaurant tonight and it wasn't too bad. Them food were very tasty. The service was pretty good. Most of these plates were ordered from my friend. We ordered Hong Kong Style Crispy chow mien, braised pork with tofu, house special fried rice, egg plant w! tofu; and Mongolian beef. All plates were prepare very good!!! Over all I would rate it a 3 *

Looking for Asian food in Seattle. Found this gem. You know it's authentic when you struggle to order because of the language barrier. No matter, I'm working through it and so are they. Food was pretty dang good. M said the drunken noodle was good but not great and I liked my Generals chicken. Going to try them again and other items in the menu like my fav, baby birds nest combination.

If you don't look quick you can easily drive past. But it is definitely worth seeking out. Easily the best chinese food, traditional or american, I have had outside of China town in Seattle. Food was spiced perfectly, even though I got 4 stars it was incredibly well balanced to enable some spiced while still tasting all the other flavors. Service was quick and positive. Definitely will be back. Only slight downside is parking lot is tight.

Parking in front is so hard to find. Can you park in the lot next door where the bus stop is located without getting you vehicle towed?

No, I suggest down the street, on Greenwood Ave. or around the corner. Don't leave any valuables in plain sight.

I took my friend here to eat with me during the end hours of the Georgetown Carnival around 8:30pm…read moreafter hearing my friends tried here earlier in the day and vehemently recommending it to me. For it being less than half an hour before closing, it was packed inside, with two sections of seating for various group sizes, and a casually loud interior with a counter full of water jugs and glass cups in front of a nice plant backdrop with the name of this place in lights. Menu serves a ton of Asian fusion dishes along with some regular entrees and a ton of cocktails and wine. From my sis's recommendation when she went, I got myself the banh mi smash burger after deciding between that and the Pho-rench dip my brother-in-law had. My friend got himself the La Vong fish sandwich, which I didn't get to try though we both did split an order of honey sriracha Brussel sprouts. - For the banh mi smash burger, think of ALL the essential ingredients of a standard banh mi sandwich; then put in a regular beef patty, throw in lemongrass beef as the other meat and add provolone cheese as a complement to the pate-mayo spread. That's what this is in a nutshell, and it tastes exactly like a banh mi sandwich as a result, only in burger form. This was an absolute hit and win for me; beef patty was juicy, condiments were fresh, lemongrass beef was equally as juicy, and the side of fries made this a very filling dish! - I normally don't like Brussel sprouts because of their similar taste profile to asparagus, but I ate a ton of the honey sriracha Brussel sprouts from here. It's sweet and tangy, both of which mask the oddly earthy and bitter tones of regular Brussel sprouts. They're also roasted which further gets rid of that bitter taste I don't enjoy. We rushed a little eating since they were close to closing but we loved everything we got here! I should start keeping a list of places like this one for places I need to make a second and even third visit to for their other dishes.
