    Sweet and Sour Pork
    Michele M.

I haven't had Fu Sing in years because I live in San Diego and if I happen to be in the area, they happen to be closed for a holiday or vacation. Well, I called yesterday and they were open. I placed my order. Paper wrapped chicken, pork egg roll, sweet and sour pork, chow mein, and char siu. All old Tin Sing favorites. I was quoted 20 minutes and probably only waited 30. I was so excited! When we got home, I started with my favorite, paper wrapped chicken. Unfortunately, it had no flavor and was extremely dry. I was so disappointed. The chow mein also had no flavor. The sweet and sour pork was ok, as far as flavor but the pork was tough. The char siu and the pork egg rolls were good. I hope this isn't how it's going to be from now on or I won't be coming back because it is not convenient by any means.

Now yall definitely over hyped them Pork egg rolls they are very flavorless. The only thing good was the outter wrap. That log of meat wasn't it. It wasn't horrible but I definitely won't be purchasing again. Service was excellent

Stopped by this spot without much of a plan just hunger and I ordered the wings & wonton soup which came with rice... so delicious and full of flavor. Service was friendly. No indoor or outdoor seating- just food for pick-up. No problem with that! Everything was packaged well and I got to eat some delicious food in the comfort of my home. I'd definitely come back. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Also while waiting for your food I highly recommend walking around the plaza and checking out the local shops.

Fu Sing has some of the best authentic Chinese food this side of the town, it's a very small take out only restaurant with room just for two people to order inside, it is located in a strip mall with a lot free parking, there is one bench in the front to wait for your order. The owner is very nice and friendly "playful" I ordered the house fried rice that was very good, pork and chicken egg rolls was very good, shrimp with lobster sauce was very good, and chicken chow mein that was also very good, there menu has a variety of different option to choose from. They are close on Mon. & Tue. you can call your order in for faster service...this is a must, because this place is very busy.

This is classic cantonese food at its most authentic. The amazing chefs from the legendary ting sing created a new take away only chinese restaurant. They moved and changed over the years as they were in another location previously the loyal followers of ting sing have rejoiced as they have found their promised land.

Fu Sing brings back memories of a childhood favorite (Tin Sing) in a take out setting and the food remains just as good. The bok choy with black mushrooms, bbq pork, chow fun with black bean sauce and egg rolls are as good as ever with their rich, savory and crave worthy umami yumminess. The owner/cashier is very friendly and welcoming. Portions are on the small side for a family of four but that's a sign of the times.

    It's Fu Sing!

If you watch Seinfeld, then you gotta ask yourself, how hasn't this place made its way on the show?! In the past 5 years I've only ate here 3 times because they never answer their phone! I'm generally greeted with a recording that says "we're busy call back later" or sometimes we'll get a similar recording with "we're busy call back later, at [Time o'clock]". This isn't a joke. Fact: the place is ALWAYS EMPTY. Give it a shot! Calling this place is always a joy, it's like playing Russian roulette, wondering if I should order here. Odds are they won't answer, but if they do then let's give it a shot! There's no consistency in the food. First time it was solid, the fried rice and chow mein were solid and the beef broccoli was good to go! Second time, the food was....bland...flavorless but maybe nourishing? I'd had better at Panda Express if I'm being honest. Third time, in 2025, fried rice was bland, I had to doctor it up and refry myself and add some flavors and then it was solid. It's the slightest bit inconvenient when I need to refry fried rice and add flavor from a place that I expect to cook authentic Chinese food. Noodles I had weren't as great as the frozen ones I get from Sam's club or Costco. Let's be real, I only order here when they answer their phone and the recordings are hilarious. Give it a shot, try it, it's an experience. Will they answer? Post your experience! Sometimes, you'll get a message like "cook no feel good, we are closed". I've called back multiple times with recordings that have specific times like "call back at 7:45" and then you called back and you'll get "we busy call back later" or "we are closed" when yelp and Google show that they're supposed to be open. I wish this was a joke but it's been my experience. The fortune cookies are also...well sub par, lacking fortune cookie flavor and fortune? You'll know when you know. You just never know what you're gonna get here. You don't believe me? Check out the pictures, look at the paper sign on the cashier plexiglass. Let the facts speak. Will they answer my next call? Can I place an order? I guess time will tell...

So always being on the hunt for an actual Cantonese, New York style eggroll, I searched on Yelp for "best eggrolls" and this place popped up. Turns out it's a multigenerational staple in the Gardena area and has been in business for many years throughout the same family. All we tried were the eggrolls this time and they were FANTASTIC, somehow they captured the essence of an actual New York style eggroll wrapper with an all meat filling. They had both pork and chicken verison, although they were both very good the pork won out as the stronger of the two. Highly recommend giving them a try, the owner was extremely nice and personable, can't wait to go back and have some more!

From many of the Chinese food places that I have tried in the Torrance area, this is one of my favorites. The food has a good flavor, and it is not as salty. It is in a small plaza that has decent parking spots. The dining room is quite large and has many small tables for smaller parties and many big tables for large gatherings and groups for parties. Food - The food was pretty good compared to all the other Chinese places in the Torrance area. It has a good balance of flavors and is not as salty as the other Chinese restaurants in the area. The prices are reasonable if they are lunch special prices. The dinner prices can be a bit pricier. The tangerine chicken and the sesame chicken both had great flavors, but could be a bit crunchier, though. The duck was decent in flavor, but the portion was a bit small. The other dishes that we ordered were all very good too. Overall - I would return to get more Chinese food here because the prices are reasonable and not too bad. The service was good, and the staff were wonderful in trying to help us order the food if we had questions.

Personally, I don't see how that's a negative. While dining here, I saw families with children enjoying the food without any issues--they simply cut the dumplings into smaller pieces before eating them. Larger portions mean you're getting more for your money, and the quality certainly backs it up. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff stayed on top of everything, from bringing out dishes promptly to keeping water glasses filled and checking in to make sure we were having a great experience. They made us feel genuinely welcomed and comfortable throughout our visit. The restaurant also has a modern, upscale dim sum atmosphere that feels inviting without being pretentious. As for the food, the Shrimp Har Gow and Pork & Shrimp Siu Mai were absolutely fantastic. The ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and every bite was satisfying. At the end of the day, I'd much rather spend $10 on high-quality, jumbo-sized dim sum that actually fills me up than spend $20 on tiny portions at DTF. For me, Lunasia is an easy 5/5 and has become my favorite spot for dim sum.

I hate gristle, this Kung pow was sublime. Sweet-and-sour pork. I basically given up on this dish because no one gets it right, and it's always an excuse to hide gristle and fat. Not in this case. It was super tasty and for the first time I can remember there wasn't 1 ounce of gristle in this meat. It was just crispy tasty wonderful. Hong Kong style chow mein with pork. But it's okay I had a cold Thai tea to help suppress that burn. Thai tea 4/5 -- on the sweeter side for me. But still carries that robust Thai flavor to it. Spicy chicken 5/5 -- huge kick to it. Looks innocent... is deadly. I loved the spiciness. I'm all about spice so this was really nice to try. Shrimp fried rice 5/5 -- I can't believe a shrimp fried this rice... it's splendid. This place has only 8 tables so either you come on a good day when its empty which we did but it can get filled up quickly due to a large party or families. We ordered the cucumber salad appetizer...pan fried nappa pork dumplings and pork scallion buns.....and They had nooooo FLAVOR. The cucumber salad was diced to oblivion ..we might as well have gotten spoons instead of chopsticks....no spice just drenched in water and soy sauce....no garlic...no szechuan pepper oil. The dumpling and buns had no flavors....no ginger...no seasonings... my wife had to put SALT IN THE CUCUMBERS! ....yes!.... SALT!.... Parking was plenty...
