Some of the best Chinese dishes in the South Bay come out of Fu Sing's kitchen! Small spot tucked away in a small lot off of Artesia and Van Ness. They're always busy, so you know that's a good sign. It's a takeout/pickup only spot not a sit down. The owner is super friendly. They have a great menu and even better lunch special menu! Great portions, tasty food, fairly priced. Used to go to Tin Sing growing up in Gardena and so happy I finally discovered Fu Sing. My second time here and ordered sweet and sour pork both times. The pork is not heavily coated, and the sauce is just the right amount of sweetness. The veggies and pineapple are not frozen products. I wish I had a picture, but upon arriving home, I scarfed down my food and forgot about taking a pic. This dish is an easy 10 for me. Please make sure you look at their business hours, as they close from 2:30-4:30 each day. The owner was extremely pleasant and when asked about the egg fu young, he patiently explained why this dish was not currently offered at the restaurant. I noticed that a lot of people called in their orders to avoid a long wait time. While I was there, about 2-3 people called and placed orders for an after 4:30 pick up, so that tells me these people know how to get their dinner orders in early. Place is a small and only 1-2 people can fit at one time, but there is a bench on the outside for you to sit and wait for your order. I visited Fu Sing this weekend and placed an order to go (the only option) as I live in San Diego and we have nothing like this. The miles in my car are worth it! I ordered my regular- pork egg rolls, pork fried rice, vegetable chow mein, and broccoli beef. Driving home with this in my trunk is torture! I had to pull over at the rest stop to grab a couple egg rolls! Delicious!!! Fu Sing never disappoints. The quality is top notch and the value is great! I've been a customer since Tin Sing and I only discovered Fu Sing in 2019 or so. I have always loved Fu Sing, but yesterday I asked for Fu Sing Chop Suey, which has all the meats. Surprisingly, it did not taste like anything. I don't know if the chef was tired or if he was having a bad day, but the food had no flavor. The vegetables just seemed like they were passed through hot water, and so were the beef, chicken, and shrimp. There was absolutely NO flavor at all. If it wasn't for the sauces they gave me, it would have tasted like nothing. I felt disrespected. I hope this is a one-time event. read more

Very delicious! If you want to pick up during the dinner rush, I suggest you place your order no later than lunch time. However, they will take your order several days in advance, if you like! I placed my order at 5:55, but they told me it wouldn't be ready until 6:35. I waited patiently, and it was ready at 6:35 exactly. The food was piping hot and delicious! Now that I've had time to reflect about my experience at Fu Sing's, I think the nostalgia of the former Tin Sing's restaurant is driving this establishments thriving business. This small take out only restaurant is consistently busy and was a brilliant idea to reopen under a different name (same family) and serve Chinese food once again to the Southbay area residents. Customers longing for the great tasting food of Tin Sing can rejoice again and order from Fu Sings now. For me however, I thought the egg foo young was subpar and too much dough for my liking, however the chow mein was top notch and very tasty. The food is definitely not the problem, it's the service. Take it or leave it, I think the service is horrendous but then again the food is good. Yes I can go to another Chinese restaurant and order food but then I'll be losing out on some quality good tasting Chinese food, my loss. We came one day in advance to place an order for a 4:30pm pick up time, and when I arrived for pick up, I was told my order is still being prepared. I sat on the bench outside figuring the order should be done relatively soon, approximately 25 minutes later, my 4:30pm pick up order was ready, essentially leaving at 5pm. COVID-19 Pandemic patience, I totally get, but I would rather have been told, opps we totally forgot about your one day advance order, we're going to start it now! Now I can make a call home and advise that I'll be late. Common courtesy, is that too hard to comply with? Great Food as always. Everything they serve is not pre made. Every dish is made fresh, that's why the food taste so good. I have been eating their food for most of my life, since the restaurant was called "Tin Sing". There is only one cook that cranks out all of the dishes. There may be times when I can't get through by phone, so I will drive there and place my order. It may be an hour wait but I will still put in my order. I always like to check out Cantonese style restaurants. When I read that this place was related to the old Tin Sing in Gardena, I was intrigued. I had been there a few times. I ordered the pork egg rolls, won ton soup, sweet and sour chicken lunch special, and the BBQ pork pan fried noodle chow mein. The food was okay, but I got lo mein noodles instead of pan fried noodles and I am not a fan of lo mein noodles at all. The won ton soup had a good broth. The sweet and sour was pretty standard. My daughter brought home chicken egg rolls from a new place, Fu Sing. They were delicious! Once I found out that owners of Fu Sing were cousins to Tin Sing (in Gardena back in the day), I looked forward to placing a large order. I had to wait because they are not open on Monday nor Tuesday (sad face). I made the mistake of going on a Saturday. I was told there was a 2.5 hour wait because there was only one cook. I ordered anyway and went home. I set my alarm and came back when they said. The food was ready. Everything was pretty good. Even though the Kung Pai Chicken was not as I remembered, it was still good. I had ordered the Pork Egg rolls, but will order the Chicken Egg Rolls next time, they were better to me. Delicious! Ordered close to $200 worth of food for a small gathering of 12. The chicken egg rolls were DELICIOUS! So much so that 2 of the guests wanted to know where I had ordered from. One guest even went & got more chicken egg rolls within the next 2 weeks. Didn't care for the vegetable egg rolls because the vegetables inside were soggy. LOVED the shrimp fried rice! Just rice, shrimp and green onions. Just how I grew up on. Fried rice does not include carrots & peas! I hate that. So it was such a relief when I asked how they make their fried rice. I will return to try some of my other favorites that I miss (sweet and sour pork, egg noodle soup-not that gelatin soup everyone makes) because other places just don't make good Chinese food. I have been to Fu Sing several times over the last couple of years. A friend of mine recommended them because of their egg rolls. I was looking for a Chinese restaurant that made Egg Rolls comparable to the ones at Yees(no longer in business). They can get really busy sometimes so call ahead. I have a goto order of Yang fried rice, spicy chicken wings and the chicken egg rolls. This is my perfect combination, the egg rolls are crispy and the wings are crispy too with good flavor.The rice is loaded with beef and chicken it's a good size portion. The owner is very cool guy , he usually brings my order to my car . He's also transparent about the wait times however I have never had to wait too long for my order so I'm happy with that.
