My husband and I tried to trade in a vehicle we owned that had a couple issues (we knew beforehand & had a quote on how much it'd cost to fix it) and they low balled us on a trade in price. The manager had said he searched what the NADA value was for our vehicle and told us it was only worth $1,000 when that was in fact a lie, and it was worth $3,500+ more. They wouldn't budge on giving us a better deal for their Jeep we looked at or a better trade in value for our vehicle. 2. There was a couple different vehicles that we had looked at and done CARFAXs on and two of them had come up that they had been in accidents. When we got there, the sales lady showing us vehicles said there was an apparent agreement with the owner (I believe) that they weren't allowed to sell vehicles that had been in accidents. Yet they still have at least two for sale currently. not fishy at all 3. They were extremely unprofessional and the sales lady was wildly inappropriate. The manager scribbled prices on a blank paper and typed up his own paper on what their NADA Jeep value was instead of an actual price from the online website. The sales lady kept saying inappropriate things about being promiscuous/asking if my husband and I gotten "frisky" together because he has some scratches on his neck (made from scratching a bug bite the previous night). Overall they weren't willing to work or budge with us price wise whatsoever, they were unprofessional, inappropriate, and not much of a help at all. My husband tried to contact someone afterwards to talk to someone above the manager we had seen that day and he didn't do anything either. The only good thing to come out of this was finding a different dealership and getting a great vehicle that was in better condition, a better price, and the $4,500 trade in value our vehicle deserved without having to negotiate with them at all.

No upsells, no hassles about money or manager intervention, we got an additional 800 dollars off (we asked for 1,000 off) a good 2021, just like the car that had SAVED OUR LIVES, and in a safe, BRIGHT color that can be seen in all weather. All paperwork, taken care of fast. IN ADDITION, he sent a handwritten, personal thank you note, that was not just BS but showed he remembered us. So I called Waite Toyota they said…read morethey would work it in as soon as possible. 2 weeks later with little to no communication unless I called for an update..they looked at the issue at hand. The truck was in limp mode. Finally I recieved a call at closing time on a Friday saying they couldn't fix it due to a wiring issue in the dash. Parts were nonlonger available threw Toyota. Wierd. That being said the truck was a 2006 tundra SR5. So with lots of disappointment asked dif there were any options for me to find the part. No help there. I was also informed of a hole in the frame next to the bulk head. With disbelief I responded not possible it was just inspected 11 months ago. The sticker on the windshield showed an inspection due in a few weeks. Knowing my truck would not pass inspection they continue to charge me for labor hours. 3 hours labor plus tax on a vehicle they knew would not pass inspection in a couple weeks. I paid the bill and had a toe service go get the truck. 1 hour away. Upon picking up my truck one of the service people came out and told the man picking up the truck that mice had gotten under the dash and ate through all the wires. Also proceeded to tell him there were several holes in the frame. The gentlemen who picked my truck is called me and asked if I knew about these issues. Of course that is not the story I got from service when the bill was due. I brewed for a week over the integregratity of this service department I had never dealt with prior. On Monday I called and asked to speak with the top manager asking why his people carried out a 3 hour labor charge on a vehicle they knew wouldn't pass inspection in a few short weeks and asked for a refund. Dan was his name and said let me investigate this and i will call you back tomorrow. 2 days have gone by and i have not heard back. I guess the moral to this story is momey definitely a prior not the customer. If i had gotten an hinest call from a concerned department i would have said stop tight there dont do anything its not worth it..but noone called me and they must get that teachings from the manager who never called me back. ​I have to add the rollback driver took photos of the rotten frame and sent them to me. It would have been nice if the service department could have sent me the pictures and gave me some advice not to put any money into this vehicle.

I went to Wally's Mitsubishi in Watertown after I bought my car elsewhere. They took time to explain my radio and other features in the car. About there service department and the mechanics, they are by far the best in the area! With the quality of my suv and there service I'm positive that they will keep it running smooth for years to come. And to top it off they wash your car after they service it!

This matters because if they aren't checking something so insanely simple then what else are they not checking? The first time this happened we let them know so they could correct the issue in the future. After happening again, we can see that they likely just don't care. Okay. Another issue is us having to take the truck back numerous times for the exact same issues. It's my own opinion that this ford service department runs off of a general guessing game. We had to have the door serviced 4 times for the same problem before they finally decided to replace it. The last thing I want to say is that we don't appreciate picking up the truck to find a random, sticky and wet spot on the head rest. What else am I to assume beside the spot being from someone's sweaty head. I really don't like coming here.

In January had a recall on an oil pump. We bought the car about a year prior. They kept saying we…read moredont have the part and to wait. So we did, until it failed. We took it to them and they "Said" the engine was dead. (Was running just fine before hand) they swapped it out with a new one. In the process broke a fule injector and replaced it. Got it back and not even a week later the abs light comes on. We take it back and are told not part of the engine not our issue. This is after they messed with the car. So what ever we get it back and 2 days later the car goes back into limp mode. Take it back to the FOR A 3RD TIME in a month in a half. They have it for a week then tell us its bad gas. (They never ran the diagnostic on it) i know this as we get it back it run and opps 2 days later guess whats back. Yup limp mode, took it to a different ford dealership and they are less incompetent and told us it was a part of the ignition and not apart of the engine and so the warranty that we paid for doesn't cover it. They would be MORE than happy to get the replacement parts and "fuck it", i mean fix it for us just for the low cost of over 1000$. They touched it were pissed they couldnt squeeze a cent out of us and now are actively fucking me over. We were sold either a lemon or they fucked something up and are using legal loop holes to screw us over. I hope anyone reading this DO NOT buy from davidson ford in clay ny. They will screw you over if they cant get money out of you 100%.

I don't even know where to begin. I bought my car here about 2 years ago and everything was fine…read morewith the sale- no complaints. But yesterday I brought it in for service ( 4 new tires, new filters, and I had oil leaking in my garage) at 9 in the morning. I was told I had a 9AM appointment. I had another ride to go home so I left the car there. 6 hours went by with NO communication so I called them at 3PM and after the person who answered the phone searching around, I was told my car is just at the point where they are changing the tires. I asked if they knew anything about the oil? The man on the phone had no idea and even after asking people had to have Brian call me back. Well Brian never called me back I waited another 40 minutes (we were getting close to closing time now) and was told oh yeah come on down the car is done. I said what happened with the oil? Why was it leaking? And was told that just the cap was loose, but it sounded weird the way he didn't know what I was talking about so it gave me a bad feeling. Well I got there to pick my car up, and I paid ($1140) and was told everything is fine but I see on my print out it says "cracked pan zip tied together". Of course I asked about it and Brian had NO idea-he went into the back for SO LONG and came out and basically accused me of having it being broken even though I BOUGHT MY CAR FROM THEM AND HAVE NEVER TAKEN IT ANYWHERE ELSE. He refused to do anything about it, did not even tell me on the phone so it could be fixed and was basically staring at me like well what do you want me to do. I don't understand how you can bring your car in here to get fixed and not only do they NOT fix it....they break it. At least now I know why no one called me all day. Oh and to top it all off when I got home I checked all my tires, they are not even the same brand. They gave me 3 tires the same and one on the back is a totally different tire. I am BEYOND disgusted of how this service department is run and we will NEVER be going back or buying cars from here again.
