We wanted to try new places on our vacation and stumbled across this place. Let me start off by saying it was NOTHING like we expected. None of us were fans of the waiting in line, ordering process, finding somewhere to sit and wait for our name to get called to go get our food. For some weird reason, some people in our party got actual cups to put their drinks in while the rest of us got given to go cups. The fries are not good what so ever. I'm not a fan of wedges anyways, but these hardly had any seasoning or salt on them. I ordered the chicken tender meal and it is EXTREMELY OVER PRICED for what you get. I had like 5 or 6 tenders, the wedges, and a drink and it was like $16.. Its really sad that my chicken tender meal at Texas Roadhouse is cheaper than this place. Definitely did not expect that. My family wasn't really a fan of what looked like trash can lids that our food was served on. They weren't really a fan of the "build your burger" bar thing either. It says on the website this location has an arcade.. Don't believe that. It's literally like 2 claw machines and a key machine.. Hardly an arcade. It was really loud in the restaurant, too. Not really a fan due to the price, even for the beach. We haven't been to a Fuddruckers in a number of years so maybe they're all this expensive now, but when we compare them to River City, well, they just don't compare and cost more. Two medium (1/2lb combo meals was $30+ before tip). I have to admit that the hamburgers are fresh and they taste good. Due to the Covid-19 changed, the self-service topping bar was unavailable, and while they still allow you to get things it takes away from one of the reason's we liked eating at Fuddruckers in the past. The restaurant had a few dirty tables when we walked in, which is always a turn off, and straw wrappers and a few napkins on the floor just make us feel like the cleanliness as a whole might be in question. Our server was very nice and she was also very attentive, so no issues with service at all, but we'll not be back in here again with all the other options available. read more

I love Fuddruckers, having dined in the Spartanburg location for most of my life. This one in Myrtle Beach is horrible! From outside, everything looks well. Inside, I instantly noticed trash on the floor. No one greeted us despite another party coming in immediately after us. They weren't greeted either. In fact, the male cashier was more intent on finishing his conversation with a coworker instead of taking our order. We did order, and as I walked by the toppings bar, I was disappointed by the dry-looking diced tomatoes, the dull looking pico de gallo, and the browning shredded lettuce. My husband complained about the lettuce, and an employee brought us a plate of fresh lettuce. The hamburgers looked steamed, and many condiments, like the fry sauce were out or the dispensing canisters weren't working. My fiancé was very exited to get to have this when we went on vacation. I had never had it before so it was a first for me. I will say that burger was great!! I just did a small burger with cheddar and had an order of onion rings to go with it. I put some onion rings on my burger and man was that the right choice! The bun was so delicious and like melted in your mouth. They do have a toppings bar that was Covid friendly. Everyone got their own pair of rings to use at the bar. They had like lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and more at the toppings bar. They also so shakes and desserts too. We got a Reese's cup shake and it was yummy! I would say this burger place is definetly in my top 5 faster food joints for burgers. We had our meal in less than 10 mins. I absolutely love fuddruckers! I grew up with one in Oklahoma. Sadly we don't have one near us so anytime I visit a city that has one my family knows we are going! We visited this one twice. Once headed in to MB and for lunch almost a week later when we headed out. The burgers were delicious! The fries are always so good. I love the seasoning. Fresh toppings and yummy hot cheese dip! My only small complaint was the buns. Usually they are amazing. Unfortunately, they didn't seem baked enough. They were almost a little doughy. I'm sure they have everything on a timer/automated but I think they need to bake a minute or two longer. read more

I remember going to this restaurant in California as a teenager. I asked for a "medium"burger" but it came out "well done". It needed salt and pepper. My family and I love visiting Fuddruckers when we visit Myrtle Beach. Their burgers are huge, not too greasy, and customizable. And I cannot forget to mention the buns, they are house made and in my opinion, make the burger. Three of us ordered the bacon double cheddar burgers and one of us ordered the hangover burger (egg, bacon, cheddar). The quality of the meat they use is very good, the sizes are perfect and I like the fact that you can opt for a smaller or larger burger based on preference (1/3lb, 1/2lb, 2/3lb). I also appreciate the toppings bar that allows you to put exactly what you want on your burger and the exact amount you want. Along with our burgers we ordered onion rings and their potato wedges on the side. The onion rings were the star of the show and arguable some of the best we've had! The onions themselves were really flavorful and had a caramelized/sautéed flavor to them. When you bit into them, you got a bite of the batter and onion, not just a chunk of onion. They had the perfect amount of batter to onion ratio and yes, they were greasy, but their onion rings, what do you expect? Overall the meal was satisfying and the service was great too. The staff was consistently restocking the toppings bar, cleaning tables, and asking to take people's finished/dirty plates. Very attentive! The restaurant is very clean and the staff was on point when it came to keeping the tables and the topping bar from getting too messy. This place surprised me in a great way yesterday. I stood in line waiting to view the menu (P.S. Fuddruckers, please fix the layout of the menu or add a second menu so people can see it from all angles). I knew I wanted a burger and I also wanted to try the onion rings and fries. When I ordered, I went with the triple cheese burger cooked MR and the mixed basket of fries and onion rings. I waited 5-10 minutes and my fries and burger were ready, but not the onion rings. While I waited, I went to the amazing condiment/topping bar and I was in heaven. I basically eat sauce and a side of burger so I was thrilled to see so many options! The Heinz selection of sauces were great, but I especially loved the special fry sauce, you have to try it! My burger was HUGE and delicious. The burger was cooked a little more medium than medium rare, but that's o.k. The fries were good, not my favorite. The onion rings, when they were finally ready, were amazing and worth every calorie, especially when dipped in the fry sauce. This place can seem a little pricy, but for $15 I had more than two full meals, so it was well worth it. I ate most of my leftovers today and they were just as good as yesterday, even though they were microwaved (only reheat option at my hotel). If you aren't very hungry, I would suggest doing the combo meal with the smallest size burger (1/4 lb, I think) and it will be more than enough. The restaurant was generally pretty clean and there were people constantly coming by busing dirty tables. Overall, I liked the food and my first experience here. Eating here brought back some fun childhood memories. We no longer have these restaurants in Ohio. Their chicken tenders were outstanding. Has perfect amount of seasoning/flavor and I love their honey mustard sauce. Kids meals are very large and come with a cookie (they can pick from three options ). Best Burger in Myrtle Beach hands down - without question! They have a, "Sides Bar" - for the burgers and it's great! It is always restocked and fresh! I haven't had their fries or sides because the burger is so big (I order the 1/2 pounder), I have no room for sides! I order a bacon burger which always has freshly cooked, crispy bacon on it. Either blue cheese or american cheese always accompanies my burger as well. I order extra bacon on my burger because a burger that size need more than 2 slices of bacon! Mushrooms are a must for my burger! Their mushrooms are very tasty; I try not to pick to many off and eat them before biting on my burger! Now I like my burger med/rare - Fuddruckers is one of the few places that will serve it the way I like it. If you like hockey puck burgers, there is always Five Guys or Cook Out - for the well done burger enthusiast! No offense intended.... While I can't say I am overly impressed with the staff behavior, they seem to be an independent crew and lighthearted. The staff (no matter what you say about them), takes pride in what they do. A trait absent in almost all fast food joints. Me? I don't even consider Fuddruckers fast food myself. My burger is always cooked to perfection and the staff makes sure I am satisfied every time. While I eat burgers in various places from time to time; when I think of a great burger - Fuddruckers always comes to mind! Finally - In other reviews, I can't understand how anyone could challenge or question the quality of the meat or burgers at Fuddruckers. Maybe it's the price? My boyfriend and I passed this Fuddruckers and decided to take a walk down memory lane (our childhood favorite). When we pulled in it wasn't that appealing due to the garbage spread out all along the front entrance. We decided to stay and give it a try. After waiting in line for 20 mins and listening to a women scream names over a loud speaker we finally put in our order. Due to covid we had to wait for someone not only to get our drinks, but also everything from the toppings bar (yay! More lines). We sat down and waited for our name to be screamed. Food came and was good but it was 50 dollars for a family of 4 (2 kids and 2 adults) good. It was hard to have a conversation in the restaurant due to the amount of excessive noise. I brought my two daughters in today for a late lunch so they could experience a Fuddruckers burger as I did when I was a kid. Highly disappointed! The pricing is ridiculous for them quality food and the amount you get. 8.25 for a small kid cheeseburger and a very small amount of fries, I honestly thought they were waiting for some fries to get done to complete our order when I went to pick up counter. The 7.99 kid chicken tender meal was not good either, not hot , so it must have been under a heat lamp for some time with the fries, over battered most likely frozen and then fried, underwhelming taste, accompanied with a minuscule amount of fries. My burger was decent, burger patty prepared at the correct temperature but did not have the same taste as I remembered. For a place that has you get your own ( everything ) I would think the quality of the food would be better. Friendly staff and great cookies for the kids meals.
