Trip down memory lane got us driving the distance for a burger in our new home state. But as our memories fade, so are the locations as not one still exists in Minnesota. Commercial burger chain offering a limited menu of specialty burgers, sandwiches, sides, salads, shakes and suds. Burgers are reasonable but add ons, Fudd Spuds and drinks do quickly add up. Burgers are fresh, never frozen, 100% beef and the sesame-topped buns are baked from scratch on site. Their claim "we will cook it just the way you like it" came up short as my medium well done burger was well done. In fact, by the time we ordered and got our sodas, they were already calling my name. Had a precooked feel to it. The fixin's station had the usual toppings of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, banana and jalapeño peppers, pico de gallo and condiments. Plus their own fry and cheese sauce. Ample amount of seating with tables and chairs throughout and booths lining the walls. Burgers are tasty and topped to your liking. Oh my gosh! I remember eating at Fuddruckers in high school. We saw it as we were getting ready to check in to our resort. Had to swerve in for a burger. Just as great as I remember. Fantastic customer service with the familiar atmosphere that I remembered from the location that my parents and i would go to when growing up. I ordered the 1/3 bacon cheddar burger and fries. The burger was juicy and cooked medium-well with the fries being just right in the temperature and salty taste. The salad bar fixings were fresh and the bar itself was clean. Once I sat down to eat, the server came by and said, "Now beat that up. Eat it good!" Was my server preparing for an upcoming fight? I might have done what she suggested...with my digestive system and I am done grossing you out! We are on vacation with the kids and grandkids. Decided to go get some good hamburgers at Fuddruckers since we don't have one near by at home. We all ordered burgers except for the grandkids that ordered chicken strips and hotdog with onion rings. All the food was good with a fully stocked condiment bar with any thing else you need. First time at a Fuddruckers. My daughter and i ordered and received prompt, courteous and professional service. 2 burgers, 2 shakes and 1 fry. Burgers were good. Shakes were above average. Fries were ok. Base price of the burgers excellent, although adding $1 for 1 slice of cheese seems extreme. You add your own condiments at a salad bar type station. The tomatoe vendor needs replaced, but it isn't tomatoe season so its understandable. Business was bright, spacious and clean. My chiropractor sold me a myrtlebeachdiscount.com card. A group of participating local companies are listed on the web site. This is one of them. When i showed the card to the register lady, she was unfamiliar with it and didn't think they were a part of it. Without me saying another word, she went ahead and gave me a "mvp" discount, which amounted to 10%, equivalent to the card discount. I feel like management isn't even aware that someone higher up enrolled this location in the discount card, resulting in the employees being uninformed. The employees are so rude this one girl fully told me "to walk away because my order wasn't done". I asked if my milkshake was done after they literally called my name. And the man making those sorry balloon animals never not once ask if we would like one... I had a young child with me, not a word. First of all, the customer service was fantastic. The crew tonight was engaging, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The other positive is that the shakes were fantastic and tasty. That said, the hamburgers, french fries, and onion rings were only pretty good. Portions were very fair. My one big negative is the price: $47 for two hamburgers, fries, onion rings and two shakes. Burgers and fries were great! We got the bacon cheddar burger and the mushroom swiss. Both were fantastic and cooked to the perfect (requested) temp. Their chili cheese fries are among my top 10. Mmmmm. The food was exactly what I expected: yummy at a decent price. The cashier was friendly and quick. Staff came by the table and picked up our trash before we even got up to leave. That's all good, I'll go back. The good stops there, though. They have room to improve. 1) milkshakes are vanilla ice cream with flavor added rather than chocolate shake using chocolate ice cream, which may be only a problem for me :). 2) mint chocolate is not the same as mint with an andes candy on top; that's a mint milkshake with garnish (& it's not great. We got them to go, & My man actually threw it out rather than go back.) 3) if you are making a milkshake with a flavor that you don't personally care for, keep that to yourself. There's no need to express your disdain and then try to analyze the kind of people who do like the flavor. 4) if you have an order for a milkshake and do not have the ingredients for that flavor, it's okay to just apologize and ask if I'd like a different flavor or refund. I have to say this was a true disappointment. The staff was friendly. The menu is VERY limited. My bacon cheese burger had almost no taste. French fries are terrible and onion rings were over cooked. My husband had a salad with his burger and he said it wasn't great. Can someone please tell me what that dirty smell is in the restaurant? Does the place need a good scrubbing? Looked clean. When I did this and asked one of the staff members for my pick up order from online, she looked at me like I was crazy and rudely told me to go back in line. The cashier wasn't very nice but the good taste of the food, the low prices, and the huge selection of options and fresh items on the bar to add to the burger were good enough to make up for it. You get the grub delivered to your table and then you take your tray to top off your burger with condiments and when you get to eating your burger, it's no longer hot. Wow, what a great place! first off, the place is huge! You walk in and order at the counter, you pick your own spot, and they call your order over a speaker. I ordered the hangover burger with a fried egg, and it was delicious! The bun was fresh, burger was cooked well and juicy, and the egg was also cooked just right. Came here while on vacation. I Loved how they have the condiment bar, so you can add whatever you want, and on the other side, the had sauces, ketchup, mustard, bbq, mayo, ranch, and low and behold, NACHO CHEESE! omg, what?! My husband and I stopped in to Fuddruckers to grab lunch. I got the 2/3 burger and wanted to add bacon and cheese. So the girl rang me up for the extra patty bacon dbl cheddar upcharge which was 2.75 and the burger alone was 9.50 then I wanted a drink and she made it a combo which was a additional 4.50 so just alone my burger mea was $16.75 then my husband got a chicken sandwich with cheese and bacon. His sandwich only was 9.95. he didn't get the combo because we usually share the fries or side item. Our total for that day was $29.77. when our food come out I asked is that all the sode that I get and she said it's 7oz of fudds. The amount of food that we received is not even close to the price we paid. This place is a rip off and are abusing the tourist that come here. The best food I've had in a restaurant by far! I went in not knowing what to expect but left full with food still on my plate. Portions are very large and the food is very good! How could you not love this place?!? It's perfect EVERYTIME we go. We vacation Myrtle Beach at least twice a year, and we always stop here. You pick your burger, have it cooked how you like, and load the toppings yourself! Also, I LOVE THE FRIES! They're like miniature potato wedges and top them off with nacho cheese I'm hungry just thinking about the place! Plus, it helped we just left there! You will not be disappointed when you go!
