Classic Burger on brioche, came well done as ordered, generous fries. My farmer's Burger? Just WOW. I pulled the perfectly fried egg off and ate it. Bacon perfectly crisp, REAL(not iceburg) lettuce. We finally decided to see if the busyness of the restaurant was a better indicator than the reviews we had seen. We ordered to go. A large BBQ Chicken Pizza with half of it substituting jalapeños for the onion. We also ordered a large Whole Hog. These are thin crust pizzas. The host said the bartender was next door restocking and would be back soon to take our order. We waited around ten minutes for her to return. She came back with some beer and became preoccupied for a few moments with a scratch and commented that she couldn't believe she was bleeding. Not what you want to hear from a restaurant employee. The place was extremely busy with a line waiting for a seat, so when the bartender who took our order said it would be 40 minutes, we weren't surprised. We left to get some groceries while waiting and returned about thirty minutes later. We sat in our vehicle and waited. We saw the bartender come out and look at cars as tho looking for someone. We waited a few more minutes then went in. Our pizzas were on the bar. They were finished early. The issue we have is this: the bartender is the only one who will help at the bar. She was very busy but the staff around her wouldn't even look our way in spite of trying to get their attention. The pizza was already paid for and we just wanted to have it given to us and get it back to the cabin before it cooled too much. Didn't happen. 5-10 minutes later, we left with the pizzas. Seems they could have a better way of handling to go orders. The pizzas were tasty. The BBQ chicken could have stood a lot more chicken on it. The Whole Hog, on the other hand, was loaded... with a whole hog, it would seem. That was a winner. We would give it a go again but I think we would try the burgers. We saw them being delivered to tables and they looked amazing. Would I recommend? Yeah. Just don't be in a rush.
