This food was absolutely amazing. Dare I say it well worth the wait. The space is extremely large grateful families just grabbing a bite. The portions are solid, but the food is absolutely delicious. The staff was really kind and made great suggestions.

Everything about this place was amazing! My grandparents and I will for sure be back. Amazing service, clean, loved apple fritters and cider they start you off with. 10/10 recommend.

We had sampler plate. Fried Chicken breast piece. Pot pie. Chicken and Dumplings. Meat loaf. Sides. Meatloaf was dissapointing. Sides were Salty. Chicken dumplings were more on the soupy side. Coffee was watery.

We had a great experience at this restaurant! The environment was warm and welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The apple fritters were absolutely delicious, especially paired with the amazing apple butter. My kids really enjoyed the apple julep, while my husband enjoyed the Country Boy Breakfast Skillet. My daughter and I shared the Pappy's Farmyard Omelette, and it was good. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made for a great family meal!

Went on a girls trip in October to Gatlinburg, TN. We ate at so many amazing spots but this one was my favorite. The restaurant was packed, had a line, and the service was quick. Our waitress was personable and shared her favorite dishes on the minute. The place is very cute and what you expect in the TN mountains. Can't wait to return with my family in the spring.

Service was outstanding. You will not go hungry here that's for sure. You get apple fritter bites to the table with a small apple drink of some sort. Potato soup with each meal and sides. The mac n cheese was good. The mashed potatoes were a bit bland. The fried chicken was good. The pot pie tasted like banquet. The potato soup was good. Overall food was decent. Service was great. There is lots of of seating, clean and decorated nice. Overall glad we stopped while here in Pigeon Forge.

Exactly what I was looking for in a breakfast spot. The food was very good not the best I've ever had, but still hit the spot. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast came with a complimentary order of apple fritters and a cup of their house-made juice blend, which was a nice touch. We ordered the Country Boy Skillet it was tasty, though definitely on the cheesy side. The atmosphere was great, with super cool decorations, an old-fashioned wooden interior, and even a bird-watching spot. Overall, a really enjoyable experience.

I love coming here because of the nostalgia. I started coming to the Apple Barn with my parents 30 years ago, and it brings back great memories. We came in for lunch with no wait. The Apple fritters and Apple Julep you receive when you first sit down are to die for! Definitely my favorite part. For the main meal, we really enjoyed the open-faced roast beef, mashed potatoes, fried okra, and cheese potato soup. Definitely try the soup!! The only negative was our server wasn't super friendly and acted like she hated her job. :( She kind of threw the basket of fritters on our table without a greeting or anything and then walked away. Maybe she was having a bad day? We will still come back the next time we're in town.

Excellent service with Mik Meal started with apple fritters (6) apple butter and soup (grandmas veg or baked potato Loved the apple butter not sugary Both soups were great...veg is spicy but choke with veggies Husband said best boasted chicken ever even better than his favorite amish restaurant back home Mint mimosa as refresher..i added some to my ice tea...wonderful..plus meals were like $18 We ruined our appetite for dinner but it was worth it..they do to go meals and were advertizing their turkey day packages. This place and the entire apple valley/apple barn was a good visit. Next trip to this area will include a return visit.

But if you're looking for a sandwich that consists of chicken tenders between two glazed donuts, then this is your place. Sawyer's has other things that are not so county-fair forward. They are known for breakfast: French toast, pancakes, omelettes. If you get pancakes or waffles or the like, you should definitely ask for their house-made peanut butter syrup. It's amazing and so unlike anything that I've ever tasted. I got an omelette, which was good and had a lot of stuff in it. They will give you hot sauce upon request, which I was grateful for because I thought the omelette needed it. One thing that's really cool about Sawyer's is that they seem to take food allergies very seriously. That's always nice to see! As you're entering or exiting, make sure to admire the decor. It looks like you're in a barn, and as you exit, there's a gift shop with stuffed animals, t-shirts and other things to commemorate your visit to Sawyer's. This is a fun little place that's great for families, for sure.

It was 12:00 & dining room was mostly empty. The Benedict sauce tasted like melted margarine & was pretty thick too. One of my eggs was totally boiled, meaning no runny yellow. The other egg was just barely runny. The Canadian Bacon was NOT real. It was some sort of sliced & spiced luncheon meat that tasted horrible. I asked the waitress for some butter for my grits, and she said "more butter?", as if it was fine the way it came, and what is wrong with me:-( The shrimp on the Po Boy was NOT Blackened. No spices what-so-ever. The french fries that came with it, were the best part of that meal:-( Our waitress, Becca M, avoided eye contact with us the entire time we ate, and remember, the place was over half empty. Once we were finished eating, she came over, after waiving her down, and asked how our meal was. We reported to her the unsatisfactory meal but we ate it because we were on a quick break from work & needed to hurry. We did not have time for a 2nd breakfast to be cooked. She picked up the bill & asked us to wait a minute. She returned after a while & told us she removed the charges for the two iced teas! So, we paid $35. for two people to have a crummy meal while on a quick break from work. FINALLY - we are so sick of those horrible metal chairs in the dining room. They hurt most people's outer legs/hips & do not encourage a customer to relax & be comfortable. In the past, the food was so good, we would just over look the chairs, but after today's horrible food & the lack of anyone caring about our visit, we won't be using our hard earned money to eat crummy food & be uncomfortable. FYI: after removal of our iced tea, our meal was $29.90, we did include a $5.00 tip.
