This place is seriously a hidden gem. The tacos are bomb--packed with flavor and perfectly made. Honestly, everything on the menu looks amazing, it's hard to choose what to order because it all sounds so good. The restaurant itself is super clean with a great vibe, and the music just adds to the whole experience. You can tell they really care about the atmosphere. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes it feel even more special. Amazing food, great energy, and awesome service--this is officially my new favorite spot. read more

We went and got lunch. Ended up with 2 HUGE chicken burritos , a rice bowl, and chips with guacamole. All of it was delicious! The waitresses were very polite and quick with my order. Store was very clean and parking was right out sugar door! We will be back! read more

We stopped in to see the new food choices. After looking at the menu, we both ordered tacos. They weren't noteworthy, but not bad. For me they didn't have any flavor. Also, when we said we would be dining in, they all looked shocked. Turning to each other before asking again if we were dining in or taking out. Like maybe they heard wrong or were worried about having to clean the dining room after us. The employee making our tacos told the cashier "they are eating here." Popped into Guac shop for their grand opening $1 burrito special. Got to meet the owner as he was wrapping burritos. He shared that they are planning to keep the Hummus Bay brand and food options for as long as possible, which is good news because I love it!! The Guac shop side is great! Lots of fresh ingredient options. I got the chicken burrito. Love that there is sweet potatoes as a filler option. Overall the burrito was good. I do wish it was a bit hotter and had a bit more flavor. I dipped it in the cilantro aioli which was delicious! The white queso was very good too! We all enjoyed our food but if we come back I will stick to the Hummus bay menu. Also the music was insanely loud, could barely talk to my table mates. read more

Went here for a quick bite for dinner and wasn't very impressed. It was similar to Chipotle, but with higher prices. My husband and I did not like the Mexican Corn and unfortunately it ended up in the garbage. The chips were pretty good and didn't taste stale the next day as they often do with carryout. I had a Barbacoa burrito and was underwhelmed. The meat had good flavor and was cooked well, but the burrito seemed overpriced when compared to other similar restaurants. There was less meat in the burrito and more rice than I am used to. I might go back and try something else on the menu, but based on the food I ate here it is doubtful that I will give Guac Shop another chance. read more

Though we do miss Hummus Bay, this is owned by the same family and they just transitioned the restaurant theme. Overall all the food was extremely good. Probably could've gone a little lighter on the sauce but that's just something for a future instruction when they're making it. People are always friendly. Unfortunately they no longer have a fountain soda machine which I find a real bummer, especially considering The bottled soda they have was Pepsi and not Coke. A real bummer in the south! read more

Recently stopped in with my family. I was really looking forward to trying the food here. The guys working were not friendly at all or helpful with making decisions for a first timer there. Also, it's pretty pricey and when I got my burrito, I realized he had just taken it out of the package and made the burrito instead of using that warmer. It ruined the entire burrito because it was dry and broke apart. I will say, the queso was very very good. read more

We ordered thru Grubhub. It was late. It was in no way correct. We ordered chips and salsa... Got three bags of chips, no salsa! We ordered rice but got sweet potatos. We ordered a quesadissa with chicken and sour cream, but got five tacos, a quesadissa without chicken and Queso!! This had to be intentional by a disgruntled employee... No other explanation!! That was our first Grubhub with Guac Shop and it is definitely our last!!! It would be nice to hear from Quac Shop as to how such a mangled order could happen. read more
