I ordered for pickup through the app and the whole process was super easy and convenient! I even got a discount just for downloading the app, which was such a nice bonus. The food was AMAZING!!! Everything tasted homemade and high quality. Highly recommend supporting this family business. Will definitely be coming to this place again.

There were a few things that really stood out and made me very happy that I gave it a try. First, the red sauce in the salsa bar: very legit! Spicy, but very flavorful! I also tried the green chili/tomatillo sauce, which was also very good and good counter point to the unctuous marinated chicken. And they don't go cheap on the meat. Secondly, the corn tortillas were made in house and were hefty! Very tasty and held together where other tacos need two of the thin store-bought variety to have a hope to stand together. Very good. If I had the tiniest critique, I would say to add a tiny bit more salt to them, but I have a theory why they may go scant on it, and I respect that. Third, the beans and rice: The beans were very simple, but simply good. It takes a lot of guts to make and serve simple pinto beans boiled with salt. I know! What a concept! But simply delicious, and made to complement the rest of the food, and not distract from it. It takes a lot of confidence in my opinion for a restaurant to have such faith in their food to leave some that should be simple, simple. The same was true for the rice: simply well made, not over done with a ton of ingredients. It was well made: the individual grains didn't stick together. And it was unctuous without being overbearing. If I had to guess, I would say that they used broth and chicken fat. Simply good, and a complement to rest of the meal. Now to my theory. It makes sense that the masa would be light on the salt because it is the same masa that they use for pupusas, and the filling for pupusas (I just like that word) is savory and well seasoned. I'll let you now next time I got back and try the PUPUSAS! ;)

The taquitos were huge and the chicken had excellent flavor. Pupusa was also big and the pork rind gave it more depth. Will be back to try more things.

The location is very convenient, especially if you're heading to or from the stadium. Despite it being a busy weekend, we were impressed with how quickly we were seated. The service was efficient and welcoming from the start. I ordered the Mole Chilaquiles, which had the perfect balance of sweetness with a nice kick of spice--I absolutely loved them. We also shared the Gorditas de Chicharrón, which were delicious, slightly spicy, and came with a side of salsa. My boyfriend says those were his favorite dish. He also ordered the Norteño Eggs and was really impressed. The chorizo added a great twist, and we appreciated that they used pieces of queso fresco instead of just shredding it on top--it made the dish feel more authentic and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, a great spot with amazing food, fair prices, and a convenient location. We'd definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Always fresh and flavorful choices of meats, (Wednesday I got carnitas and al pastor), rice choices, bean choices, add any/all toppings and salsas. Guacamole is an add on and worth it for the texture and real avacado flavor and a good amount. The people are always so nice and service is great, (I can't overemphasize that), whether you're taking to go or dining in. I mostly take out and go home, where everyone is ready to dig in, but while I'm getting my orders I always notice the people eating there are enjoying themselves. It's in the Golden Cove Center far end of lot across from Trader Joe's. ...oh, their chips are also fresh made and hot!

I ended up getting the breakfast burrito without meat, which was basically potatoes , eggs and cheese. Simple, but still satisfying. The standout for me was definitely the salsa which was really flavorful and paired perfectly with the chips, which were fresh and delicious. I tried the spicy salsa option as well but it wasn't spicy at all. Pretty good spot considering the location.
