Updating my review after coming back here a couple more times. AC was working and it felt a lot nicer to dine in! The food was great, no complaints, and the service was a lot better. All restaurants have bad days, I get it. I'm glad they take our reviews into consideration and actually do something about it. It will certainly help a business thrive. I recommend the tacos on Taco Tuesday. The meat is very good. What I like the most is their extensive menu. Some things are a bit too pricey in my opinion, but the food is good. read more

This is exactly what I was looking for today!!! I was in the mood for good carne asada that wasn't dry. And homemade tortillas. I went to another place in stockton that was closer to where I was today but struck out. They didnt have what I wanted. So I tried the next place I found in stockton that offered the homemade tortillas and good meat. I had to drive a bit but it was worth it. The customer service was amazing. I was treated polite and they were ok with how I ordered my burrito. I admit I am picky. I'm sorry about that but I can't always eat a bunch of carbs because it will make me sick so I choose to eat good meat and homemade flour tortillas. I may be able to have a few bites of rice and beans but I definitely would rather it not be on my burrito and I am ok with the burrito being small because of that. I finally decided to try the food at Taco House, I wasn't missing anything. The beef is super dry in the soft tacos, and the salsas would be better if they were on ice or refrigerated while in the self service area. The customer service is terrible, I don't understand why it's so difficult to greet your customers. It feels very warm inside the restaurant, it's the heat radiating from the kitchen. I found it to be very concerning that they set a stainless steel container for you to put your used plastic utensils as they don't want the used utensils thrown away with the trash. I am hoping they are not washing the used plastic utensils to reuse them, why not throw them away with your trash? The used utensils are trash, unsanitary, to be thrown away with your disposable plates and napkins not placed in a stainless steel container next to the trash disposal bin that faces the front counter. I am glad that I tried the soft tacos, that is enough proof the rest of the beef is dry, and no taste unless it's in a sauce or salsa of some sort. I will not be returning, and I will be sharing my experience with family and friends. I know great food immediately, from different cultures as well, this place is not a place with great food. I don't know how they've been in business this long, unless their customers are not food connoisseurs and don't care about great taste, preparation, appearance, etc. No thank you to the Taco House. read more

All positive and Nothing negative for us.
