Casual place in a strip mall. Clean pleasant decor, all tables and chairs. Quick efficient service. Really good food, reasonable prices. Tuna poke bowl had great components and sauces. We had pan seared dumplings with gyoza sauce. Piping hot, 8 made a generous portion. Not fancy but excellent at what they do.

Second time here and both times the food has been fantastic. Great flavor, quality was great. They are a little seem pricier than the conveyor belt places, but the quality is better and the portion are nice on the bowls, so really it's not pricier. You get a half eaten bowl because the flavor made me decide to write this review.

Came here for the first time with the family. They have a variety of menu items to try. Their chili oil, is very good! I was sad they did not have a veggie ramen, not very many vegan options either aside from sushi and the cucumber salad (would eat this every time). You can order with the QR code or with staff. We had a variety of ramens, sushi and entrees. Ramen was lacking flavor. Their Thai tea was delicious. We had 8 of us, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Favorites entree was the Takoyaki and the cucumber salad.

I had a great experience here, sushi was phenomenal. Service was quick and attentive. Will be coming back to try their ramen!

Kiawe Island Bistro scratched that Hawaiian food itch perfectly. I went for the spicy ahi poke and…read morewas genuinely impressed, the fish was tender and incredibly fresh. My only minor gripe was that it leaned a touch salty but it didn't detract much from an otherwise really tasty bowl. It's on the spendier side but the portion size is generous enough that you'll leave satisfied. For the quality of the fish alone, I'd say it's worth it. I'd absolutely come back when the craving for solid Hawaiian food strikes.

Love coming to Kiawe, haven't been in a while because on the days I crave it- they're closed…read more Finally was able to come when they was open. They had one special menu and the manapua man noodles and gaugee caught my eye. That's like the perfect combo. But we skipped out on gaugee and got the manapua man noodles. Wish the options for the additions was one fried chicken but instead it was either pork belly or sweet sour chicken. Which isn't usually the kind of combo I would get. Especially if you label it manapua man noodles. The noodles tasted more like fried noodle / fried saimin style since it was cooked on a wok. I do miss the simplicity of a manapua noodle where you dress it with shoyu and sirracha. But these noodles weren't bad. They were super flavorful. Portion was huge! My husband said he could've gone without the pork belly. The pork belly was meh. The noodles tho, ono! I also went with the japolo chicken and kalbi combo, which is my go to. Kalbi is saucy and so flavorful! The chicken is nice and crispy. My only thing is that my plate was swimming in sauce. And when it touches the rice, it's a no for me. Wish had some buffer like cabbage to catch the sauce. Other than that, food is always ono here. Service is also friendly and the place is nice and clean with lots of seating!
