Wow wow wow! So fresh and incredibly flavorful. People kept walking in so we had to grab a table fast. We couldn't eat everything so took the rest home. Cool space. Nice people. Want to go back

Eula Plate: two poke and two sides served with rice
Jessica L.

Came here on Friday during lunch hours and they had a line which I was surprised! They have a storefront as well as had a vendor spot at the Vancouver Farmers Market so for some reason I didn't think their store would be busy but I was wrong! Luckily since a lot of the stuff is already prepared, it went by very quickly! They had two poke specials but I went with the creamy wasabi ahi and crispy garlic ahi. Both were very flavorful and I appreciated the option for 2 sides for $22. The space was rectangular shape and perfect for a few tables. Most people did take out as did I and I would definitely get take out again or check them out at the farmers market!

Wow! This is the best poke around Vancouver/Portland. Small business ran by extremely kind people! I came across them through instagram, where you can find their daily menu/hours being posted. The California salmon poke is my favorite and their musubis are 10/10! They are open until 3pm/sold out, so I recommend checking their instagram page or getting there when they open, which is 11am. Please check this place out and support locally!

Elua bowl with dynamite poke, crispy garlic poke, kimchi cucumbers, and mac salad

Poke is delicious and fresh. Tried the spam musubi and compared to other musubi's it is a little lacking on the spam to rice ratio. Sides are amazing, can't recommend the kimchi cucumbers enough.Got an elua bowl and they included enough food for easily two meals. Staff was very quick with service and friendly to everyone.

So delicious! Has to be my favorite Poke place in town! The fish is so tender, fresh and flavorful! The kimchi cucumbers were so flavorful and crisp, yum! I could eat a whole bowl of those! I recommend going early on the days they are open as the hot food sells out early but their spam masubi is also delicious! The service was good, they're always friendly. They also have a few tables inside to sit and eat at. Don't miss out, this is a must try!

Fresh Poke options, and a lot of them! There was a line outside before they even opened. Everyone said to get here early cuz they sell out, and that makes sense since they give good portions It is spendy

Amazing poke. Super fresh. Just amazing poke hands down. Tired 5 different kind and they were all delicious.

Unfortunately, I found a long black hair stuck in the middle of my Mac Salad...This ruined for me. I cannot go back after this experience.

It saddens me to have to write an update that is not good on this place. For starters, I love the people running it...Very sweet. However, on this last trip, when I ordered my usual for take-out, I thought I bit into a piece of hair. When I looked down, I saw a long black hair stuck in the middle of my Mac Salad! :-( Gross! Advice to the owners: Since you make your Pokes and sides at home, prior to displaying them in the case, PLEASE wear nets over your hair! I don't think that is too much to ask. Now, this ruined it for me...I cannot go back there, knowing how awful that was to have got it in my mouth! :-( I hope the owners will read this review, because if they make this small change, I would come back to give them another try.

Protein options

A great addition to Downtown Vancouver. Love the food. Service is friendly and the space is casual. Pricing is very fair with two scoops of protein + 2 sides + rice for $22. I ate one order for 3 meals. With a focus on tuna poke, they are missing a huge market by not offering salmon. Myself and most of my friends prefer salmon over tuna, so I hope they expand their offerings in the future.

I just finished my poke and had to leave a review immediately--this place is incredible. The flavors were so fresh and authentic, it genuinely felt like I was back on the islands of Hawaii, especially Oahu. I was full halfway through but couldn't stop eating because it was that good. If you haven't tried this poke yet, you're seriously missing out. This is easily a top-tier lunch spot--don't hesitate to make it your go-to. CHEEHHHOOOOOO!

The best food in Vancouver. The poke tastes like Hawaii. This plate came with two pokes and two sides and rice and was only $22. My bf and I split it and we were stuffed. The owner is awesome and the interior reminds me so much of Oahu!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon a few hours before closing, and everything tasted great. I go a plate with 2 options of poke and 2 sides, and got the Hawaiian and crispy chili poke with the soy garlic edamame and Mac salad. The poke was nicely balanced with great flavors and tasted fresh. The Mac salad was seasoned well and had more flavor compared to others that I have tried within the area. The soy garlic edamame was pleasantly light in flavor, but you could still taste the soy garlic flavor. I also ordered 1/4 pound of the spicy tuna and that tasted great as well. The plate I got was $22 in total, but in my opinion they give you a good amount of food for the price you pay. From what I understand, they close at 3pm or until they sell out, so be sure to come early.

**HEADS UP THEY GET BUSY & FAST** Husubi Poke Shop is fairly new and will be very successful. My coworker and I went Friday for lunch around 11:30 (30 mins after they opened) and there was already a steady amount of people there. By the time we left it was BUSY AF with the line out the door. Rightfully so, they make everything fresh for the day and put a lot of love into it. The earlier you get there the better your chances are of getting what you want. Be patient too as it is only 2 people helping everybody. They did a fantastic job and I'm sure will eventually hire more help. They have options for you to get what you want. You can get just poke which comes in quarter pound, half pound, or full pound containers. Or You can do what I did and get the Elua (two) poke bowl option. It comes with your choice of 2 pokes, 2 sides, and a hefty serving of rice. I noticed they let you try a sample of their options when asked which is great. I suggest you try some sample to make sure you choose your best option. I also got 2 regular spam musubi's. They offer other kinds like a breakfast musubi but I alway go regular my first visit to try out the base version. On my next visit I'll stock up and get other options. Parking can be little tough to find as there's construction going on, but you can park and walk to them from anywhere in that area. It's hard to find great poke options like this around the whole Portland/vancouver area so I'm happy this is 5 mins walking distance from my office.

The location was easy to find, but as with most places out here, can be a little challenging but doable. The place is big. There's a lot of seating indoor and has an outdoor area with bench seating like back home. Already hitting all the positives. The guy at the register is awesome, reminded me of my nephew. He took our order and gave us a buzzer. We sat outside and within minutes our buzzer went off. On the other side of the register is the pickup area. The guy pointed out each entree and repeated what it was. Even though I already knew what the entrees were, I actually appreciated that. It was good customer service. The food was like kanak attak. The portion was humongous. The poke nacho style wonton chips with spicy poke and kalua pig was broke da mout on point! With 3 of us sharing, we couldn't finish it, but made sure we ate all the poke so no left over lol. We also had the meat jun and garlic chicken. They were just as good. Only thing I was not 100 percent happy with was the rice and mac salad. Rice may be fresh but seemed day old to me and the mac salad needed to be thrown out. I did tell the guy. It was starting to have that sour smell. I know they didn't know, but as a local, we know and we have to support each other so everyone stay happy.

Ordered the Hawaiian Nachos: Portions- insane and you feel like you've cheated the business Taste- 10/10 Ordering - 10/10. Easy and straightforward and the workers are super friendly. Environment- didn't feel like we were in Portland or the PNW Only thing to keep in mind is that the nachos are RICH and pretty heavy. Not a problem but next time I will probably get the Spicy Poke with Rice since the chips offer no let off from the pork and poke. Can't wait to come back

But today, I had the time to swing by and fortunately he was open, but SOLD OUT. Fortunately, he had a few things left over. So I said yes to a mix plate. Nolan's Hawaii accent is still thick it made me feel like I was back home on the west side for a second (!!!!thank you!!!!) I met some people outside the food stand, a business man from Hawaii and some California people I mistaken were from Hawaii as well, lol. It was an awesome interaction, from the moment I got there I got greeted by strangers waiting for food, to going up to the window and asking "so what? No more nuttin left?" Nolan's response was "Nah I only get mochicko chicken and kalua, you likem?" Haha that was a definite yes! Won't miss out on home food esp if word of mouth was already out there. So I waited a few minutes for my food, and the box was heavy. Haha it felt like when you would eat at your aunty and uncles house and they pack you the party left overs. I opened my plate lunch and I was greeted by a huge portion of chicken, pork rice and Mac salad. And let me tell you, the Mac salad didn't have so much frills like what you would see in a Portland Hawaii food joint. It was sauced, and seasoned. PERFECT! No need for all the extra add ons. As I started eating, let me say that kalua pork was no joke so moist and easy to eat not even close to dried out. The chicken tasted nice and crispy with just enough marinate and fluff. I haven't found this anywhere in Oregon..until here. Yeah sure there's a poke and katsu bar in the shopping center next door... but I take the random food cart in the parking lot any day over something franchised

We wanted a drink and bite before thrifting and going to the book store. One other couple was inside. Waiter was nice but not hospitable. The ambiance is amazing - 10/10 love the vibe and decor. I ordered a drink of the mixed drinks and my husband got a margarita. The drink was so bad - neither one of us could drink it. I don't think I've ever returned a drink I can't pound before haha. It was 10 minutes before I went home to the bar to ask for something different - no one came by to ask how things were. The guava choice I picked for the second - not good. Watered down flavors of who knows. The drinks at Wahi Hanna are amazing in comparison - especially with the Dole Whip vibe. The spam fries were $9 for half a can of spam cut up and put in the oven with a side of mayo? The loco moco was promising but tasted like something you'd get at Kenjis - not a Hawaiian spot. I feel like with a lot of tweaks in flavor - this could be a great spot.
