Hibachi steak, sushi, squid salad, and mussels.
    Craig T.

Update 5/7/21: I haven't been here in a few years and thought to try to this place out even during the Coviad season. I was back in Destin for vacation so I needed some Asian foods. This place opens until 10:30pm. I came here on a Friday afternoon around 4:30pm. It was dead. There was maybe 2 other tables when I came inside. I didn't not see a mask required sign in the front door. The employee didn't know take my temperature either. The employees were all Asian males wearing masks. There was no 6 feet requirements as they seated everybody in the same area back to back. (I guess the CDC requirements are less now?) The foods were pretty much the same minus the crab legs. Sushi didn't appear too fresh(rice was hard and stale) but they had a decent variety. I hit up the hibachi bar and got the chef to cook me some steak, shrimp, imitation crab meat, eggs, and bean sprouts. I got the Teryaki flavor. There were no gloves at the food bar so you were touching all the tongs and spoons everybody else has been touching! (Yuck!!) I had to go back to the bathroom to wash my hands after I got my food. No customer was wearing their masks while getting food. The only other 2 customers that were wearing masks decided to leave right after they got one round of good. They mostly likely thought the place wasn't sanitary. And I don't blame them. Customer service was good as my server refilled my drinks and cleaned off my table very fast. It's not saying much where there were only a few parties there. Only thing I enjoyed was the cold mussels and squid salad. The Hot & Sour soup was okay. I think I may had only got 2 rounds of food. Which that's a first because I normally tear up Buffetts. lol The pre scooped ice cream was decent. The canataloupe and orange was sweet tho. At the price of $13.99 per person for dinner. It's definitely not worth it. The price of $9.99 and below would of been more appropriate. But the Destin inflation price is definitely here. I will definitely never going here again. I highly don't recommend this place unless you got nothing else to eat and are desperate. I do not think this place is very sanitary for a buffet in MJ opinion. Enjoy my attached photos. :)

It's NOT bad, but it's not the best I've had either. The concept is great- hibachi grill, endless sushi and buffet items... But the flavor isn't there on some items. For example- the spicy tuna rolls were AMAZING, as well as the Hong Kong chicken... But the Chinese donuts were kind of hard and stale and the hibachi grill kind of needed more... sauce? Flavor? Speaking of hibachi bar... I also noticed gnats swarming the peppers and onions, as to which they had a fan trying to blow them away. So I decided against opting in for veggies in my hibachi. If you're not picky you probably wouldn't mind eating here. I'm not picky, I love AYCE joints. It's not my favorite, but it got us full for cheap ($13.99) and that's all that matters. PS. The banana pudding is the bomb!

Hell to the no. Food tasted old. Service was awful. And the ambiance was little disgusting. Do not go here if you value your gut health.

Food quality has declined. I do not recommend this business. Pics are basically the same. Bathrooms are dirty, floors are sticky.

The food is below average. Horrible, really horrible. No crab legs here. My buffet in Houston is cheaper and better flavor then this place.

This location is pretty big, it definitely feels like I've been transported to the 2000s with the color scheme. Everyone was hustling and bustling to make sure everyone had what they needed. Our server was wonderful and took good care of us. The food was good! The salad options were wonderful, the corn was okay, the Mac and cheese wasn't all that, the popcorn/coconut shrimp were great. They had good dessert options like brownies, banana pudding, soft serve. The crab legs were good! Between me and my husband, we put down about 10 clusters. (this is a place that you have to come hungry to get your moneys worth) I can totally see how the restaurant makes money from the people that barely eat the crab legs. If you were coming for buffet only $40 as a scam. But if you're coming for crab like buffet and you come hungry, you might get your moneys worth. Please keep in mind that soft drinks are not included into your buffet!!! I definitely felt like a medieval animal, tearing them apart, but thankfully, our server gave us some wet wipes. The flavor was good, they literally taste like crab legs. Overall, it was a good experience. It felt clean and everyone was very attentive. I think this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to come, but we might not come again cause we wanna try another place.

Other than the lunch hours, the food tends to sit too long on the buffet line. Service is really bad. You get your initial drinks. We came here on a Wednesday night and there was not many people in the parking lot. We were seated right away. I went up to get what I normally love here's. The crawfish. This time, the crawfish was cold and the inside were black and tasted horrible. It tasted not fresh. The frog legs were not stocked and I had to wait 30 min before they brought some out. I didn't try anything else because everything looked like it's been sitting out for hours. Waitress service was slow and I had to ask for my refill. I am not sure what happened here as I gave this place such a high rating, but not this time. The ice cream bar was super unsanitary and the water that is dripping on the spoon was nasty and dirty. I probably won't be back again when I am in town again. You can chance it if you're feeling adventurous.

Best Fried Chicken in Panama City or Panama City Beach -- truly!…read more This is THE fried chicken: perfectly seasoned, thickly breaded, explosively crisp! Absolute YUM. But then... the sides... Who serves fried chicken and doesn't offer chicken gravy for the mashed potatoes? I asked, and the reply was: "We have brown and white." Brown and White??? That's a fried‑chicken sin. And the sin deepened when the "mashed potatoes" turned out to be so watery they could practically be served in a cup. I mentioned it to the waitress, who explained, "We use a mix of instant and real potatoes." OH‑kaaay. My response: "Way too much water." Meanwhile, I'm wondering where the butter and cream went. For reference: I took a skinny straw and actually sucked the potatoes through it. That's how thin they were. The vegetables, however, were genuinely delicious -- classic Southern style and well prepared. A surprise hit: the fried hoecakes. Imagine Jiffy sweet corn muffin mix dropped by the scoop full into the fryer. Oddly enough, they were even better dipped into the "brown" gravy (which tasted suspiciously like modified yeast extract). Look, I understand stretching product and using convenience items. But if you're going to cut corners, do it on pre‑slicing the desserts -- not on the core of a Southern plate. My suggestion to the owners: Lean into what you do exceptionally well -- that phenomenal fried chicken. Sell it by the bucket! I'll come buy it! Trim the sprawling buffet, reinvest in real mashed potatoes with butter and cream, make real gravies, and offer a rotating blue‑plate menu. Do fewer things excellently instead of trying to be an "everything" restaurant and missing the mark on the basics. The chicken is worth the trip. The sides could be, too, with a little love.

Through my college years it was a go to for me, they had an AYCE breakfast bar and I was a broke college kid. I always liked this chain. For those not familiar, it is like a Big Boy or a Denny s. There were some reversals for Shoney's over the years. Now they are few and far between. This one has had a remodel but still feels like 1993, I adore this. Lots of old folks in here for lunch, a good indicator for value. The place smells great and the staff seated me right away. The booths are still comfortable. I ordered an All American burger all the way with cheese and bacon plus fries. Everyone was friendly. You can smell the burgers on the grill, it smalls so good in here. My burger was a towering achievement with a side of fries. It was served on a grilled bun with butter. The patties were huge and there was plenty of cheese and bacon. It was dang near perfect. All it needed was an American Flag toothpick on top. The fries were thick cut and the perfect vehicle for Ketchup. There was so much flavor and it was all good. Final wrap-up is the famous strawberry pie. Disappointment reigned supreme they were out! Oh well, a strawberry sundae will do. The whole experience took me back so I am biased. This was a good experience, try it again for the first time.
