This is a nice restaurant and a great spot for date night or catching with a friend. The atmosphere is lovely, and I especially enjoyed the lighting. The food we ordered was good, and i recommend trying the cocktails If you can, I'd suggest not being seated near the kitchen door. Unfortunately, that's where we were, and the constant back-and-forth from staff was pretty distracting and took away from the experience. They did mess up my order initially, but they fixed it, which I appreciated.

In a small unassuming strip mall in Hicksville lies Jade. Plain on the outside, but when you walk in you immediately feel like you're stepping inside a trendy lounge, with a huge Buddha statue & a koi pond running through the middle of the restaurant. The lights are low, which makes the large space seem more inviting. The menus are tablets, which organized categories making it easy to navigate. We went on Wednesday, when they have a $5 wine special which was nice. The coconut shrimp is crispy and really delicious, not greasy at all. My husband enjoyed his samosas. The crispy tofu comes very crispy with your choice of sauce on the side. The Calcutta chicken was different, I was told it was spicy but I didn't find it to be, it was tasty but I didn't realize it was fried chicken pieces, I would've preferred sautéed. We didn't have dessert, but they have some nice looking options! The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was when I asked for a bill, the server just handed me the tablet to pay, and when I paid it gave the option for tip, which I gave, but when I received a receipt it said gratuity was already included but never mentioned. So basically the server watched me add an additional 22% tip and never mentioned I had already paid for 18% gratuity, good thing I doubled checked.

Long Island Restaurant Week win! My best friend and I came here for Jade Eatery & Lounge during Long Island Restaurant Week and WOW -- everything was so delicious. The prix fixe menu gave us so much food. Every course came out beautifully presented, full of flavor, and honestly more than enough to leave us satisfied (and then some). From the starters to the entrées and dessert, everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared. The vibe is perfect for a night out -- stylish, relaxed, and great for conversation. This was a girls' night, but I already know I'll be back for a date night with my husband. It's that kind of place. Highly recommend, especially during Restaurant Week -- but definitely worth visiting any time. Can't wait to come back!

This place has recently become a go-to spot for family dinners, especially because parking is super easy due to the parking lot. It's a beautiful restaurant with a koi pond and large Buddha in the front. Foodwise, it has an expansive menu that is a blend of Asian cusine, featuring Japanese, Thai, and Indian food. My go-to is their Lamb Panang, which is always delicious and filling! You can also adjust your spiciness level depending on your preference. I also love that they do seasonal cocktails - I just tried their Jack Frost for the holiday season and really enjoyed it. It literally tasted like the holidays in a cup! I'm also a fan of their mango lassis because they're not super sweet, which I like. It does get busy, especially on the weekends so I would recommend a reservation if you have a large party. Overall, it's a nice spot for good food that has a modern and fancy feel to it.

This place has quickly become one of my go-to spots in Hicksville. I've been here twice already and also tried their Forest Hills location, but this one really stands out. The atmosphere is stylish, open, and beautifully put together, and having their own parking lot is a big plus. The menu is a perfect fusion of desi and Thai flavors everything I've tried so far has been spot-on. I've had the drunken noodles, spring rolls, chive pancakes, fried rice, and cauliflower Manchurian, and every dish was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the service has been consistently great. The host both times was attentive and friendly, which makes the experience worth it. I also tried their pina colada it's refreshing and well balanced. Even their lunch specials are worth it, with portions that definitely generous. Can't wait to go back and try more.

Visited Jade Eatery recently with some friends because we had seen videos of the place on Instagram! The interior is beautiful but not as big as it's made out to seem. The food was great though, with many different options which I loved. My dumplings were amazing and so were the tacos. I also did enjoy the drinks. I recommend the passion berry margarita. The service was good and attentive as well

Came here over the weekend to catch up with some friends. We originally had 530pm reservations but due to delays we were going to arrive by 6pm. Luckily they were able to update the reservation an hour beforehand. We arrived and were immediately seated. I don't think you need a reservation at this time, it is wasn't packed at all. We were seated and given these fancy tablets as menus. Our server was super nice the entire time but she was pretty insistent on us ordering quickly. Our food came out very quick. She continued to check up on us which was nice but then continued to walk by plenty times to see if we were wrapping up. Maybe they had a wave of reservations coming up after 8? Food was great and so was the overall look of the place. They had a pond in the middle of the restaurant with some koi fish swimming which looked pretty neat. Overall we had a good time. Drinks and food were great. We did arrive on time for the happy hour but unfortunately we could only order at the bar and remain there. I had a group of 4 and we wanted to catch up at a table. Maybe next time!

At a glance this place is beautiful & peaceful. They have a beautiful pond & decoration is articulate. Service is friendly & accommodating. Food, was alright. We were a party of 6 and the calamari was stable, the chicken lollipop was drenched in sauce, not bad. Our entrees were okay, the lamb schzurn had a chewy texture, not sure if my brother enjoyed it, it was quite different from what he's used to. My noodles (I think it was pad see ew) was a little bland and didn't have much bak choy, was a little disappointed that I was only 2 pieces. The chicken general chao was a little bland as well but cooked at least. The desserts were also okay: the chocolate lava cake wasn't really lava cake it was like microwaved chocolate cake. The chocolate cake itself was kind of stale and the carrot cake was okay. The drinks were pretty good! The Thai iced tea was perfectly sweet & pina colada was yum. My brother enjoyed the mango lassi. Not sure if I would come back, maybe if they improved the food

For Father's Day, we decided to celebrate at Jade Eatery & Lounge, hoping for a memorable family outing. The ambiance looked promising when we arrived. A spacious interior with popular music, a beautiful koi pond lined with LED lights, and a striking Buddha statue that added a touch of calm elegance to the space. However, the experience had its highs and lows. To start, my husband wasn't offered the complimentary cocktail they were promoting for Father's Day, which felt like a missed opportunity to make the moment special. For appetizers, we ordered the chicken lollipops, which were beautifully presented and rich in flavor. Unfortunately, they were slightly undercooked. I could still taste the raw batter coating, and my husband noticed it too. A few more minutes in the fryer would have made a world of difference. For our entrées, we went with the butter chicken, garlic naan, and Mughali Goat Bhuna. The butter chicken had a subtle heat, not too overpowering for adults, but a bit much for our toddlers, despite the waiter's reassurance that it would be kid-friendly. The naan was warm, soft, and delicious. The Mughali Goat Bhuna was deeply flavorful, and my husband enjoyed every bite. Personally, I prefer baby goat for its tender, sweeter profile, so the gaminess of the dish was a bit too strong for me, though I could appreciate the effort in the seasoning. We also ordered drinks. I tried the tamarind mocktail, which was a refreshing balance of sweet and tangy, a perfect summer sip. My husband had a Thai tea, and we ordered a mango lassi for the kids. Since it was a large glass, we asked if it could be split into two toddler cups. Unfortunately, the request wasn't accommodated, and we had to split it ourselves, which got messy real fast. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate lava cake with an extra scoop of ice cream. The cake was rich with a decadent truffle-like center, and the creamy vanilla ice cream balanced the richness perfectly. It was easily the highlight of the meal. We had made a reservation through Yelp and arrived early to beat the lunch rush. Despite this, there were moments when we felt a bit forgotten. Service was polite, but not particularly attentive as I had hoped. The bathrooms are changing pad ready for caregivers traveling with toddler or baby in tow. It's also handicap accessible and they are attentive to any food allergies. The final bill came to just over $180. Was it worth it? Ehh... I've had better. It was a nice effort with some standout flavors and beautiful plating, but there were enough service and preparation hiccups that left us feeling like the experience fell short, especially for a special occasion. It's a lovely concept for Long Island with potential to shine, but there's definitely room for improvement. I may give them another chance in the future.

This is my second time at this Jade Eatery location and I am still a happy customer. I've only ever gone for happy hour and it's so worth it! The deals are great and the food is equally delicious. The bartenders are always nice and attentive and the drinks are perfect not too strong not too sweet. The restaurant itself is beautiful from the dice to the coi pond it's absolutely inside. Perfect place for cute photos. The dress code is pretty casual but feel free to put on your best fit for the perfect pic!

Had an impromptu lunch there recently. Non description location within a small strip mall so there's ample parking. It's kinda dark walking in but once inside it's nicely decorated. Even has a live coi fish pond. Host staff (a woman likely the manager or owner) was very friendly. The servers seemed more matter of fact. The food was really good. Dessert was blah. The chocolate fudge cake I had was dry. Their lunch special price is really good for the options. Have already recommended others to check them out. Took some pics but the main dish looked good and I just started eating. Tried the bottomless drinks add on. Good if you drink enough.

The fried calamari was fresh and tasty, elevated by the smart addition of fried artichoke hearts. Dessert sealed the night well, the homemade rice pudding sprinkled with walnuts was delicious and definitely worthy of a permanent spot on the menu. A pleasant evening overall, driven by strong atmosphere and service, with a couple of standout dishes balancing out the less memorable ones.

From rich and smoky to spicy, tangy, creamy, and refreshing. Banjara Tikka brought tender chicken thighs layered with yogurt, fried onion and garlic. Mauryaji Basket Chaat delivered chickpeas, potato, tamarind, mint, pomegranate and a creamy yogurt mousse. The Chicken Seekh Kebab was perfectly seasoned and savory with pickled laccha onion, while the Guntur Chilli Chicken Bao turned up the heat with Guntur red chili, sesame and refreshing beetroot shikanji shots. The vegetarian dishes absolutely held their own as well. Chilli Momo with carrot, sesame and seaweed, came out with a soft, delicate bite and a subtle chew, filled with a lightly spiced vegetable mix that leaned savory and aromatic rather than overpowering heat. The Paneer Makhni was rich, velvety, and deeply comforting. The paneer stayed soft and pillowy, soaking up a buttery tomato-cashew gravy that was slightly sweet, gently tangy, and finished with that unmistakable fenugreek aroma that tied everything together. The mains were just as unforgettable. Laal Maas came in bold and unapologetic. Tender goat slow-cooked until it practically melted off the bone, swimming in a deep, smoky gravy built on mathania chilies that brought slow heat. The Shrimp Malai Curry was the complete opposite in tone. Silky coconut milk wrapped around plump tiger shrimp, with Bengali whole spices adding a gentle sweetness and aromatic depth that made the dish feel light yet indulgent at the same time. And somehow dessert still had room to impress. Rose Kulfi was creamy, floral and sweet without being overwhelming. Drinks included everything from the floral, mezcal-and-rooza Gulabo to Mango Lassi. And as someone who historically doesn't like anything rose flavored, I enjoyed both the drink AND the dessert. Just as good as the food, was the service. The servers were spectacular, super attentive and diligent with all of our requests The atmosphere is cozy and clean, I feel if this place was a little bigger it would be packed at all times I would definitely recommend coming here and trying each of the dishes, they are made with love and care

I've been here a bunch over the years since they opened up. Love the quality foods and atmosphere…read more Servers are attentive and the venue is well kept. During the winter months I'd do takeout and every time the food was great at home. I love their soba noodles salad when it's in season, however they switched to a different noodle and it doesn't have the same oomph! The owner recognizes me from all the times I've been there for dining in, takeout, called, and parties and events. I went there again last night with some family and overall it was very nice. One star deduction for the rudeness we received from the manager. She came over after we ordered a second bottle of the Freemark Abbey (wine) (as they were completely out and the first bottle we ordered was their last bottle in stock) and gave us two "similar" options that were around the same price of the first bottle. Price doesn't equal to taste. We first asked if it's okay to try it even if we may not like it, and she kindly proceeded to open the bottle. We said "no thanks," to the Keever (it tasted disgusting in comparison), which she and her colleague highly suggested, and we asked nicely if the other bottle was an option to try, but she swiftly walked back inside with both bottles and brought out an open bottle of the Katherine Cab. We liked that better. She stormed away after she said something fast and nasty like "It's either the bottle or you have to pay per glass." We didn't quite catch it but the ultimatum put a bad taste in everyone's mouths. We wound up ordering the Katherine Cab. When we got the bill the server charged us fairly. We tipped well because it's not the server's fault she was upset about opening the wine that she pushed. Happy eats!

We were seated right away upon entering and had no reservations. The place wasn't busy at that time. The inside decor was beautiful and our waitress was very sweet and patient with us as we took awhile to order because we were catching up plus being indecisive with all the menu options. My friend ended up ordering the Short Rib Bolognese and I ordered the Shrimp Tagliatelle. I was told the tagliatelle was made in house and it was absolutely delicious and DID in fact taste like it was freshly made! I tried some of my friends dish and there was a lot of meat in her dish (a positive!) and it was also extremely delicious! Bonus is that this restaurant is a few stores down from Marshalls and I'm a HUGE fan of Marshalls so I went there after to walk off everything I ate as well as shop :)
