Deviled eggs

This is one of my new favorite places. Service was excellent. The beers, the food, and the vibes were all immaculate. More of this, please! We can't wait to go back. We will definitely be putting some hours in here this summer.

Great atmosphere. I love all the windows and the quirky decor. I tried the ginger brew which was good but I expected a bit more of a kick of ginger. If return for the ambiance and to try a few things on the menu. My friend is vegas and while they had a couple vegan items, neither appealed to us. I can't say it's better than other breweries I've been to, but the price point and setting would bring me back.

Came on a random slow Sunday, found it on the hop passport. Food- both breakfast and lunch/dinner options. Love the vibe, the lava lamp chandelier... all the plants and interesting things to look at. Almost like being in someone's living room. Greeted by Andrea, offered samples (no flights and they do half pours). Tried the saison, the golden beligian, and a bock ("pork chop"). Food looked amazing. We opted for some appetizers that were filling and tasty. Beer was great! Food was great! Just a few steps off the main part of Eastern market. Highly recommend without reservation!! Have vegan items also.

Brand new spot in Eastern Market, adding to the scene nicely. Absolutely wonderful beers and the food looks quite delicious also. Decorated throughout with delightful little knickknacks and items obscure, it's fun walking around and checking out the art, if you will that fills this space. But the beer itself is the price. I tried the Dunkel first, and it was spectacular, like drinking a real Mūnchner Dunkel. Following that they had a ginger beer on tap and it was delicious too. The ginger was subtle and not overpowering, and it was perfectly balanced. I finished with the bitter which was hand pulled and also so traditional. While I didn't personally taste any of the food, my friend had the catfish and he said it was "really, really good". I definitely trust his opinion on rhis. The service, as expected, was great very attentive and very quick to bring the liquid gold. I think beer traditionalists will really like this place because it really puts out great beer.

Great brewery in Detroit's Eastern Market. I stopped in for lunch and had a brisket sandwich excellent food and friendly service. I was able to find close street parking too which is always a plus.

Outstanding place, great beer variety. All the ones I tried were great. People were very friendly. Did not eat there, but the food looked very good. If I lived in Detroit and wasn't just visiting, that would be a regular patron here.

Checked out Detroit's newest brewery in Eastern Market yesterday and it did not disappoint. The vibe/decoration is ideal for a craft brewery in the city feel. They have a little reading corner where people can borrow books to read and a cabinet of games that customers can play. The decor in the bathrooms were also so fun! Our bartender/server was really nice and helpful to choose a beer if you were unsure. We didn't get food, but every item on the menu has a beer pairing with it that I think is a great touch. We did get some beers though and my personal favorite was the Bla Bla Ginger! Definitely a great place to check out.

Rachel L.

Hidden gem with a wider variety of food than your average bar staples and well done beer. At least 8 beers on tap with at least one of each major type. Seating doesn't feel too cramped like other breweries, and has chairs not benches.

Great place to hangout near Eastern Market. The beer was good, staff friendly and professional, and had the tastiest frog legs! Just try them - honestly! Great crowd and fun decor.

We were trying to find good food options open on Labor Day and drove by Full Measure. We were pleasantly surprised by the inviting interior. We were equally surprised at the menu not being typical bar fare. We ordered the catfish, shrimp poboy and beet salad. Everything was delicious, fresh and well presented. The service was fantastic and although we ordered beer, I can't give a fair assessment because I didn't drink it. We will return.

Bar

A hidden gem. The food is delicious, atmosphere is cool and eclectic. The beers (helles keller, ginger beer, and cap are really great as well. We've been here a few times and The burger, the Cuban, and steak and fries have all been delicious. I've heard the brunch is great, but haven't tried that yet.

Jalapeño shrimp poppers

Everything was great! We ordered Deviled Eggs and featured item Jalapeño Shrimp poppers to start. For main entree got brisket tacos.

The menu is Turkish and German fusion, which makes when you know how the doner kabob has become a German fast food staple. I've gone a few times now and had consistently great experiences. From the just the right level of eccentric inside, to the wide patio outside, the environment is comfortable and fun. Their food and cocktail menu changes often. There a few mainstays, including their doner options. Their lamb doner version is the only one I've found in the US I like (I have to remember to ask without peppers, not a traditional ingredient). Their cocktails are fresh, inventive, and interesting. I've tried a variety, and they do a consistently good cocktail. Supergeil is a reliable go to, good quality, reasonable prices, and great service. I'll be back for their patio season.

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance transported me to a beautiful Mediterranean garden, with its gorgeous tiled floors, lush greenery, and warm, inviting atmosphere. It felt like a refreshing escape right in the middle of Detroit's historic cobblestone streets. It was the perfect setting for a long-overdue reunion with my sorority sisters, and Supergeil was incredibly accommodating, hosting our group of 14 women in the middle of Grand Prix weekend without missing a beat. We kicked off the evening with a few appetizers to share, including the hummus, deviled eggs, and meatballs. Everything arrived quickly and was an instant hit around the table. The standout was definitely the hummus, served with fresh, homemade pita that was unbelievably soft, fluffy, and packed with flavor. The meatballs were also delicious, perfectly tender, juicy, and well seasoned. For my entrée, I ordered the popular lamb and beef döner, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The portion was generous and beautifully presented, overflowing with crisp vegetables, fresh lettuce, garlic sauce, hot sauce, and the most tender, savory lamb and beef. Around the table, others enjoyed the Turkish ravioli with spiced beef and pork, more döner, and a variety of salads. Everyone loved their meals, and we couldn't resist passing plates around to sample a little of everything. It's the kind of restaurant that's perfect for sharing and enjoying with a large group. And what would a girls' night be without cocktails? If you're a fan of Two James spirits like I am, you're in for a treat. The bartenders create incredibly inventive cocktails from a seasonally rotating menu. I stepped outside my comfort zone and ordered the Open Kettle, made with coffee infused Doctor Bird Rum, cola reduction, coconut cream, and Underberg. It was unlike anything I've ever had! It was rich, tropical, complex, and with just the right kick. It's an absolute must try. Another crowd favorite was the Purple Gang, featuring lavender vodka, lemon, and butterfly pea tea, which gave it the most stunning purple hue. To finish the night, we ordered all three desserts to share: the burnt sugar tres leches, strawberries and cream, and the hot brownie with cinnamon ice cream. My favorite was easily the tres leches. It was light, creamy, and perfectly balanced with the crunch of burnt caramel and the subtle sweetness of coconut, it was a creative twist on a classic dessert. The warm brownie with cinnamon ice cream was pure comfort and a chocolate lover's dream, while the strawberries and cream offered a lighter finish with sesame brittle and hibiscus, creating a unique combination that reminded me of an elevated granola paired with a glazed donut cream. From the beautiful atmosphere and attentive service to the creative cocktails and delicious food, Supergeil delivered an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're planning date night, catching up with friends, or celebrating with a large group, it's definitely a spot worth adding to your Detroit restaurant list.

I was expecting it to taste more like the alpine fondue from the melting pot but it sadly did not. It lacked flavor (needs garlic or more wine). For the price of the weinerschnitzel, I would think they could give some carb or veggie on the side. Yes it's a good sized portion, but the presentation looked a little sad. Lots of cocktail options, but I just went with the classic aperol spritz and it was perfect. I definitely will come again on special occasions!

I need not have worried; there was parking closer by. Oh well. The restaurant is tiny. And it maximizes the space by lining its walls with colorful bottles of wine, chic and cher containers of olive oil, and pots of artisanal honey hiding here and there. My friend pointed out the breathtakingly beautiful bouquet of dried flowers hanging over our table. I should have taken a photo when I had the chance. I started with the spiced brown sugar latte, made with oat milk. Delicious and sweeter than I thought. Even though the menu is small and curated, I could not decide between the nosh plate, the biscuit brekkie, or the quiche, which was the special of the day. So I ended up with the quiche but added the biscuit and bacon - I did not want to miss out. The crust of the quiche was fine, but the custard-like filling was divine, more like a savory crème brûlée or flan. Service was quick and efficient. Our reservation was made for one of the predefined 90-minute blocks, so the staff was on top of getting and delivering our meals and bussing tables as soon as they emptied to make room for the next group of guests.

Between the two of us we had the beet salad, burger and steak tartare. Burger was good, but not the best smash burger that I've had. Beet salad was fine, however the cream cheese was a bit overpowering against the orange oil. It was dying for some citrus. Steak tartare was a bit dry, meaning that a small dab of olive oil would have added to the richness and overall mouth feel. I did not really taste the egg although I did see a dab of yolk on the tartare. Needed a bit of salt also to enhance the taste Menu was small, but it did cover a cross section of French bistro dishes. All in all, I thought it was a bit overpriced. So I will have to consider returning for a full meal. I would come back for a burger and beer at the bar.

I have consistently come here to get food throughout the years and it has been so rewarding to continue to see Yum Village be such a pillar in the city and in the food industry! The service here is incredible, you don't bus anything yourself. I also noticed that the staff that day was all women, from everyone front of house to the chefs in the back as well preparing the food, which was extra fun! They are so attentive to us and even when there was a snaffoo with on of my party's orders. They paid with cash and I think perhaps that messed up the tracking of the order through the system? I'm not entirely sure. As for the food, Yum Village has maintained some of the same dishes throughout the years, while also adding and/or rotating a ton of other dishes through the menu. I can definitely confirm that the garlic parm jerk chicken remains my favorite and that the spice level, while still plentiful and intense, has eased up a bit in recent years. Either that or that I have become more spice heat-tolerant! Either way, the portions also remain huge, so there was a ton of food to take home! I love the truffle collard greens, the deeply unique and flavorful corncakes, and also the star of the show this go around was the deliciously complex fried cheesy fufu! It oozes so much flavor and is the perfect addition to any meal and very shareable as well! Keep up the great work, Yum Village!!

I loved how the jollof rice and plantains were well prepared and hot. The jerk chicken wasn't served as hot as the rice and plantains so I think they had a timing issue in the back, so that was disappointing. There is a lot of food, so we were able to take home half and have it for breakfast the next morning. We also tried to the jerk taco and it was good and hot, but awkward to eat because there so much on top and it was just falling off as I was trying to pick it up and take a bite.
