Really great old school ambience, this restaurant is family owns, which is always great to support also! The food came out really fast and everything was great.

I would love to give Andrew's more stars. Well, I'm actually adding a star for the wonderful waitress. I can't recall her name, but she was very warm and hospitable. We sat outside for appetizers and drinks before a concert down the block. In fact, we paid to park in their lot for the show. It was super convenient and only $10. I didn't have a chance to go inside. Therefore, I can't offer any review on the interior. The drink that I ordered, an Old Fashioned, was ok. What I didn't care for at all were the pretzels with cheese. They reminded me of something one would order at a block party or small fair. The "cheese" was that bright yellowish orange stuff one would find in a can. It tasted like metal and was overall a complete turn-off. The table we sat at was next to a sewer grate. The smell made it a super short visit.

Yelp to the rescue! Nate and I were in the area looking for some food and drinks before a show at the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre down the street. I hopped on Yelp and this place came up. I gave them a call to confirm they were open (highly recommend for small family owned spots like this) and indeed they were - score. I asked if they had on street parking and the bartender told me they have their own private lot - double score! We pulled in to the private lot and the owner was out there letting people know they couldn't park there for the concert. No worries for us, and we appreciated the heads up. We walked in through the back and got seated right away - it wasn't too busy yet around 5 pm on a Tuesday. It got quite a bit busier as we were leaving with lots of concertgoers. The tap list was more extensive than I was expecting, which was nice for Nate. The food menu was pretty basic bar fare; wings, sandwiches, burgers, and fried food baskets. No complaints here, it was just what we were looking for. The whole place gives a very Birch Lodge vibe, for any Grand Rapidians reading this. I ordered the chicken tenders and Nate got the corner club. Our food came out super quickly which was appreciated, as we were both pretty hungry. The chicken tenders were not quite what I was expecting; they looked like long chicken nuggets that you'd get at a school cafeteria. And that's basically what they were. But I am being 100% honest when I say I loved them! Probably a bit of a nostalgia factor there. They were super hot and fresh, and the fries were too. The club was stacked and had fresh lettuce and tomato and perfectly crispy bacon. We couldn't complain about these simple bar meals. Our bartender was super slammed at this point but was doing a great job keeping up. The owner also stopped by our table to chat with us and was greeting everyone as they came in. This is a great spot for a pre-game meal or post-game drink. They do have some outdoor seating on the sidewalk in front which is nice. I'd come back!

    "Famous" lake Erie perch sandwhich

A friend from out of town recommended this pub. Right by the river. Bar food was very good & would recommend their "famous" lake Erie perch sandwhich. Stick to beer and wine when ordering alcoholic beverages, so to minimize chances of being disappointed with a cocktail that may not be your liking. The service was good, but Staff can be overwhelmed if it gets too busy. (Expected during these times.) Met friendly owner who said business had been in the family over 100 years!!! Now that's saying something.

We were hanging out in the area when I said, "hey Andrews is on my list. Let's have lunch there". The customer service is phenomenal. The owner came to our table, and we had a conversation with him for a while. We had the buffalo wings as an appetizer. They were your regular buffalo wings. I also had the Cajun fish and chips and loved that catfish. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. My friend had the classic Reuben with fries and said that was very good also. I also had the Tequila Mockingbird cocktail and loved it. I'm definitely keeping Andrews on my list.

Went here on a trip to Detroit on the recommendation of a local. It was a great spot. Everyone was friendly, the drinks were well made and the location is right off the river walk. Hit up this long time family owned joint when you get a chance

Yellow perch sandwich is their lead sandwich.

My first visit to this 4th generation, family-owned business now in its 101st year. Abby was working the bar and Tom was working some (inventory?) books. Good, friendly people. Her service was prompt, attentive and knowledgeable. I could not decide between the burger or yellow perch sandwich - Abby recommended the perch. It was an excellent recommendation. It arrived quickly, direct from the fryer; hot food, hot. It was a generous portion served on a toasted hoagie bun, with both French fries and small containers of creamy coleslaw and tarter sauce. Yeah, it's $12.95 ... but it is a damn good perch sandwich. There is plenty of fenced parking in the gravel lot directly behind the building. WiFi is available; password: redwings The beer selection is extensive. CCW/CPL is not specifically disallowed by signage, but I am GUESSING that more than half their revenue is alcohol sales; so I secure my EDC in the car. Will I return? Absolutely, yes.

They are a good options for a bit of a healthier alternative to lunch. They have a good selection of wraps, salads and three daily soups. Today, I went in the afternoon on my lunch, and ordered the Greek Wrap, which included a mix of iceburg and romaine lettuce, grilled chicken, feta, red onions, and olives (which I omitted) and a choice of dressing, I chose the creamy Greek feta dressing all on a whole wheat wrap. The three ladies who were working, all made part of my wrap, adding the ingredients to making the wrap itself. They were fast and efficient when I went to order to pay for my wrap. The prices are really expensive though, for a wrap, and even for the salads. So this is a once in a while kind of treat for me. I'm sure it's a better deal if you order one of their combo's, which I did not because none of the soups appealed to me today. With taxes my wrap came to over $8. Service is fast, efficient and friendly while being delicious all at the same time. Apparently there are two other locations here in Windsor, but this location here in the mall is the closest one for me to get to. We stopped by for an early dinner on a Thursday, and it wasn't very busy. There's plenty of street parking nearby, and we were seated immediately. The interior is a little dark, but the Vietnamese-inspired décor adds a nice touch. From certain angles, it almost feels like you're dining on the streets of Vietnam. Their tables and chairs were made of bamboo. They even had mini kit table bamboo if you're interested to do the Vietnamese squat while eating lol. The staff was friendly, attentive, and provided good service throughout our meal. The menu is fairly simple without an overwhelming number of choices. Everyone in our group ordered pho, which comes in regular or large sizes. I usually order a large, but since we'd been restaurant hopping all day, I chose the regular instead. To my surprise, the regular portion was very filling. I finished the bowl but was definitely full afterward. The pho had a good, comforting flavor. While the broth wasn't quite as rich or deeply flavored as my homemade pho, it was still good. Considering there aren't a lot of Asian dining options in the area, Pho Lucky is worth visiting if you're craving a simple bowl of pho. One thing I especially appreciated was that they serve fresh coconut juice in the whole coconut instead of a can, which was a refreshing bonus and definitely worth ordering.
