In a world where fried fish on this level is either hard to find or just plain ol' expensive, Blazin Cajin decided to return with some of the best friend catfish, shrimp, and wings I've had in a long time. I never bother frying catfish at home myself, I'm not that good at it and I don't care to make my place smell like fish for a whole week, so when I heard Blazin Cajin was opening up, I had to make my way over in order to decide if it was quality and they did not disappoint. Not only does the fish come out fresh (please be patient as it does take some time) it is very affordable and they don't cut corners in regards to using the top ingredients. You can tell this is a local favorite as people traveled from all over to get themselves a plate. I really enjoyed the banana pudding as well, as it really reminds me of what I used to eat as a child and it is very hard (almost impossible) to find great banana pudding. The owners and their team work tirelessly in the truck to serve the community and they do it because they enjoy it and you can tell by the way the food turns out, food just tastes better when you're enjoying the process and it's obvious that they do. They asked if it was my first time ordering and when I told them yes they kindly and patiently explained the menu, serving sizes and got my phone order placed. We got the chicken and fish + combo with a side of fries. The fish was for my fiancé and he said it was some of the best fish he's ever had. Fried perfectly not greasy or soggy. Crisp and a perfect golden brown color. The chicken was amazing same as the fish not greasy but crunchy and fried to perfection. Seasoned well and not over cooked the wings were nice and juicy. Also the fries were perfect nice and hot crispy not under cooked or soggy lightly salted. The woman who took our order was super friendly offered help while we were trying to decide and was walking peoples orders to their cars cause it was super hot today!
