I didn't try one, but my husband said it tasted like Krispy Kreme so that's a high compliment. The biscuits are quite good, very buttery. I also appreciate if you order oatmeal it comes with little side of raisins, cinnamon, brown sugar, and granola. My younger son always likes to start with Froot Loops and milk. And then we ask for double biscuits in our normal platter and no eggs, so essentially the biscuits take the place of the eggs. Service can be slow so that's why once you know what you like I highly recommend saying it all at the beginning. I love how this is so close to the play area so it's quite enjoyable to just sit and chat as adults while the kids run off and play. I would never choose to pay to eat here, but since it's free and on property, it's super convenient and worth it.

It smelled so good that I had to ask where he has purchased it. We were hungry and it was the perfect opportunity. We were greeted as soon as we walked it. They had pizza options by the slice behind a glass window, but you could also order food to be made. I purchased a pepperoni pizza pocket for my child and a slice of pepperoni sweet pepper and hot honey. My son truly enjoyed the pizza pocket. He said he loved the garlic and cheese blend that was sprinkled on top. I loved my slice as well. It was crispy around the edges, but not burnt. I wish I could have tasted the hot honey a bit more, but overall, it was delicious and hit the spot.

That said, if you're not big on seafood (like me), you'll still find some solid American options. Many Asian buffets tend to limit those choices to basics like pizza and chicken tenders, but Buffet City goes a bit further. I was pleasantly surprised to see pot roast, mashed and roasted potatoes, and even fried chicken. They also have soups, salads, and a dessert selection that's actually pretty good. Come prepared--this is definitely an "elastic waistband" kind of place because you're going to want to eat your money's worth. Staff come around to refill drinks and clear plates regularly--but be warned, if you're not finished, guard your plate like it's gold. Same goes for your utensils--leave them on a plate, and they're gone.
