I've corresponded with 5 dealerships that asked me stop by to start the process and they don't even have the truck or any intention of locating since I wasn't physically there. Toyota of Gastonia was different, Dan Matkin send me an email and asked me to text him what I was looking for. We spend about 20-30 minutes texting and he was able to locate a truck and came to an agreement on the trade-in and purchase price on the vehicle. Granted Dan give me an estimated trade-in on the assumption that I was truthful with the condition of the SUV, the price was more than fair. I called and spoke with Nick Thompson and left a deposit on Friday and was called on Monday to inform me the truck was ready for delivery on Tuesday. We stopped by and dealt with Kevin Brown because Dan wasn't available, but he had handed Kevin almost all the paperwork and there was no bait-and-switch tactical involved. I was initially a bit reluctant, but Kevin was a great guy also. I was initially sold on the 2.9% for 72 months, but the promotion ended a day before while they were transferring the truck from another dealership. I did confirm the promotion rate ended through other dealerships as well, so it wasn't their fault. The best they had was 3.9% for 72 months, but Nick Thompson was able to meet me in the middle due to my credit score and off we went to the finance manager at the sister dealership at Mazda in well under 30 minutes. We planned on transferring the plate from our existing SUV to the Tacoma, but didn't realize that that wasn't possible if my wife, who financed the SUV, wasn't on the loan also. So in the middle the singing we had to start over again to add my wife to the loan and registration for the Tacoma and spend an extra 30 minutes. Jay Kumar, Finance Manager, had another customer waiting but never appears to be frustrated and he educated us on the different service contracts but was never pushy. We left after 90 minutes after arrival to take delivery of the Tacoma. But it doesn't end there, a few days later we received a tin box with cookies which were actually pretty damn good. I also had to text Dan again to get an official odometer reading so we can cancel the existing service contract on the trade-in. He responded promptly and still provide excellent customer service, even after the deal had already been closed. Buying a car at Toyota of Gastonia was by far the easiest and fastest car purchase experience for me and I've purchased new on several brands such as Acura, BMW, Honda, Nissan, VW and now Toyota. As with anything in life, your miles may vary. It all depends on who you get on the other end of the line. Dan, Nick, Kevin and Jay are definitely assets to Toyota of Gastonia.

I purchased an Audi Certified Pre-Owned A6 expecting the quality, inspection standards, and peace of mind that the Audi CPO program is supposed to provide. Instead, the vehicle has now spent more than a week in the service department for a speaker rattle and an engine/driveline vibration that should have been identified before the vehicle was certified and sold. The service department's repair for the speaker rattle consisted of applying felt tape, which resulted in a roughly two-inch gap between the door panel and the sheet metal. As for the driveline vibration, I completed test drives with two different technicians, both of whom acknowledged the vibration was present. Despite agreeing that a problem exists, no solution was offered. I raised my concerns with Sales Manager Sean Fairman and asked about options to unwind the deal or find a reasonable resolution. Initially, I was told that a vehicle could be sourced from another Hendrick dealership and that the numbers could remain the same. However, after presenting three different vehicles as possible solutions, I was ultimately told none of them would work and that no vehicles could be transferred. I was then informed that trading out of the vehicle would effectively require me to absorb approximately a $10,000 loss because, as I was told, "it's your car now." This response was particularly disappointing given that Hendrick operates a large network of dealerships and inventory. Rather than working toward a reasonable solution for a customer who had just purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Audi with unresolved issues, I felt my concerns were dismissed. Used vehicles can develop problems, and I understand that no car is perfect. However, when a vehicle is sold as Audi Certified Pre-Owned, customers have every right to expect that significant issues have been identified and addressed before delivery. More concerning than the vehicle itself has been the dealership's unwillingness to stand behind the product they sold and work toward a fair resolution. This experience falls far short of what I would expect from both a premium automotive brand and a flagship dealership. As a result, I will be filing formal complaints with Audi of North America, the Better Business Bureau, and exploring my legal options. I sincerely hope Audi Northlake uses this feedback to improve both its inspection process and its customer service practices so that future customers do not have a similar experience.

Patiently with some humor but also with courtesy and knowledge. The customer waiting area is well designed for customer comfort. Snacks, juice, coffee, ample and spaced out seating. Service was completed in 35 minutes, no surprises or upsells, fast and courteous checkout and our car was well taken care of. Really pleased with our experience and treatment. Having had the misfortune of losing the only key fob to my car, and not being able to find a…read morelocksmith to program for a Volvo, my only choice was to have my car towed the the dealership the weekend before Memorial Day. It took around 3 days to program, and then was told the starter control unit was bad. It took another week for the work to be done. There were a few reasons given for this, and all of this would have been okay if there were any attempt at communication on their end. There wasn't. They had to be called several times to find out when it might be ready. After asking for the total cost before picking it up, we were told that the cost was four hundred dollars more than expected ( they hadn't included the tax. After driving away, the emergency brake was engaged and required quite a bit of finagling to release. Upon calling the dealership to let them know what happened, I wasn't offered an apology, just a statement that they weren't responsible and to have it towed. Overall, it seems that the mechanical work was solid, with the exception of leaving the emergency brake on. However, next time I will take my chances on another dealership, one that prioritizes communication and customer service.

One of the reasons I have remained loyal to the brand is its longstanding reputation for safety. Unfortunately, my recent service experience at University Volvo Cars left me deeply disappointed and has significantly reduced my confidence in the quality and thoroughness of the work performed. I arrived for a scheduled 3:00 PM appointment to have my vehicle's 100,000-mile service performed. As part of the service process, I expected the vehicle to receive a thorough inspection and for any safety concerns or recommended repairs to be communicated to me before the vehicle was returned. I waited at the dealership for approximately two hours. During that time, I was never given the opportunity to discuss all of the issues identified with my vehicle or make informed decisions about recommended repairs while the vehicle was being serviced. After inquiring about the status of my vehicle, I received a text message that my car was ready, along with a video of the completed service. However, there was no mention that my requested tire rotation had not been performed, nor was there any discussion regarding multiple service alerts that appeared on the dashboard immediately upon startup. The alerts included: * Driver Support System - Reduced Functionality - Service Required * City Safety - Reduced Functionality - Service Required * Regular Maintenance Required These are not minor cosmetic issues. They relate to vehicle systems that Volvo markets as important safety features. What concerns me most is not simply that these issues remained unresolved, but that they were not communicated to me before the vehicle was returned. Had I not observed the warnings myself, I would have driven away unaware that these systems still required attention. When I raised my concerns, I was informed that the technician had already left for the day. By that point, the opportunity to discuss the condition of the vehicle and available options had passed. The service manager offered explanations about why the issues may have been overlooked, but I was disappointed that there was little accountability for such significant omissions. Later, I was asked whether I wanted her to see if someone else could address the concerns. However, by that point, my confidence had already been shaken. If major safety-related warnings were "IGNORED" while the vehicle was already being serviced and on the lift, it was difficult to trust that any subsequent review would be thorough. This experience left me questioning the overall quality of the inspection and service that was performed. If obvious safety-functionality alerts were IGNORED, not communicated, or addressed during a scheduled maintenance visit, how can a customer have confidence that the rest of the inspection was conducted thoroughly? My expectation is simple: if safety-related warnings are present during service, customers should be informed before the vehicle is returned so they can make informed decisions about their vehicle's operation and maintenance. Customers should not have to discover that these issues "STILL" persist after being told their vehicle is ready. As a longtime Volvo customer, I found this experience extremely disappointing and inconsistent with the level of communication, accountability, and safety-focused service I have come to expect from the Volvo brand. Safety has always been one of the primary reasons I have chosen Volvo, and this experience left me feeling that the safety of my vehicle--and by extension, my family and me--was not treated with the level of care and attention it deserved.
