Went here for the first time and had a great experience! Joel took care of my pup and got her done in about 4 hours. She got a summer cut which was as expected since she went in with matting. I love that the cost they told me on the phone didn't change when I went to check out. She even got a cute little bandana. Will definitely be returning!

I'll start this by saying, I love my dogs more than just about anything. Going to a new groomer is one of those anxiety-inducing experiences for me because I have a senior dog. From start to finish I knew Walter was in great hands. I felt no anxiety when I dropped him off. His groomer was so sweet and very thorough during our consult. And she NAILED it! Walter loves his cut and will be coming back. Also- I priced around before choosing Erika Ashley's and their pricing is more than fair compared to competitors.

This was such a great experience! I brought both of my pups here on separate occasions and they both left very clean and happy with a fresh pedicure . Both of them are medium sized with a little bath/groomer anxiety. But they had big smiles at pick up time and the groomers did a good job of making them feel welcome as soon as they were walked in. You can tell it's good vibes in there, I loved the custom service and would trust them with my fur babies again 10/10 would recommend !

I started taking my pug, Molly to Erika Ashley several months ago. My former groomer moved and I decided to find a place closer to me. EA has done a great job with Molly, she loves going to be pampered! They usually have her done within an hour or so and I get a text when she is ready to be picked up.

Alex did an amazing job with my 6-month old Aussie doodle. She loves it there and looked amazing when we picked her up.

I had a very disappointing experience bringing my 4-month-old puppy here for her first-ever haircut. As many pet owners know, a puppy's first grooming experience is a big deal and can be overwhelming, which is why I carefully chose this groomer based on their positive reviews and reputation. Unfortunately, when my puppy was returned to me, she looked like a completely different dog. I was genuinely mortified. Her eyebrows were completely shaved off, which drastically changed the shape and appearance of her face. I understand cleaning up the face so a puppy can see better, but this went far beyond that. I barely recognize her anymore. Additionally, she is a Cavapoo (75% poodle, 25% Cavalier) with naturally very curly hair, yet she was blow-dried so aggressively that her coat is now completely straight. One of the defining features of this breed is their curls, and I don't understand why the groomer wouldn't want to enhance those features rather than eliminate them. I am honestly worried her curls may not come back. On top of the grooming itself, I was quoted $65 for a standard puppy cut, but when I went to pay, I was charged $75. I was told this was because my puppy did not fit the "XS" size category. My dog weighs 5 pounds, according to her vet records from just last week. I would genuinely like to know what qualifies as an "XS" dog if 5 pounds does not. Overall, I am extremely sad and disappointed with this experience and will not be returning. I hope this review helps other puppy owners carefully consider where they take their dogs, especially for a first grooming appointment. ***I have attached a before and after of my puppy. Just had a terrible experience at Erica Ashley's Elite Dog Grooming. My 5-month old puppy, who is very well socialized and mannered, came back with super short and uneven fur after she had the so called Elite Grooming Package service! I regret so much that I sent her to this place. What's worse is that the store manager, Jeffrey, did not even apologize. Instead, he blamed it on puppy. Very unprofessional. My review for Kash first cut I'm not thrilled about the cut my puppy got. When I picked him up, he seemed different from when I left him. I felt rushed when I dropped him off, and I was given a different price over the phone ( $80-85 for a full groom for his size) and paid a different price ($97. 00 for a baby toy poodle is quite steep) he didn't have a bow tie or anything .. pictures were not taken of him. Again I felt rushed and I'm not really pleased with the customer service I received. This was his first cut, and I was very excited for him but I wasn't pleased with the way he was cut or the way his hair was blown out. His hair literally curled back up in 2 hours. The groomer didn't ask me how I wanted him cut, but she said I could show her pictures of how I wanted him cut when I bring him back. I found that a bit strange. Why not ask me how I wanted him cut before doing a full groom on him? I'm probably not going to bring him back. The place just didn't feel welcoming. The lady at the front desk was nice, though. read more

I decided to come here only because of the reviews. I made a visit to talk pricing & ask questions. I was able to meet & talk with Erika the owner. She was very welcoming, gave me her story on how she started the business & so much more. I felt happy with her energy, everything she shared with me. I booked Faith, my 11 month old American pocket bully the bath package with added deshedding, nail grinding & teeth clean. This is Faith's first visit, but 2nd time at a groomers. She gets very nervous & I worry for her a lot! Faith was well taken care of, very clean & came to me as I left her, but with a clean sparkle. And happy! I checked her vibe, body language, as well as full body check & she was good! And I was more happy & secured. The staff made us feel secure & comfortable, as we both get separation anxiety. As a former employee of one of various locations, I got to see a lot of what goes on in management…read moreand staff. The dog counselors were mostly uneducated teens and the management had 0 care for its employees. One counselor should never be in charge of 25 dogs at a time. Understaffed, underpaid, and most of the counselors didn't bother watching the dogs. While I was there I witnessed many scuffles and many situations that were poorly handled. With nearly 20 dogs in one room with a window, there was a woman walking by the window and naturally all the dogs began pushing and shoving their way towards the window to bark and get a better view. They began getting agitated and I tried to distract them with a sharp loud noise, but according to management this was abuse and I was let go. While working there, management would also consistently fail to communicate with their employees or disregard their concerns about rusty crates or old equipment. I would not recommend wasting your money here as the owner has proven to be cheap and the outside fence is FAR too small for any number of dogs, much less now that the fence is broken. I haven't visited in a while but I hope they fixed that fence at least, but with how cheap the owner was and how he absolutely dismissed my concerns about rusty crates that had sharp edges and broken doors? I doubt he was very fast on it. The user interface for employees is complicated and never properly updated, so you better know every dog by name immediately because the list of dogs is never correct on the website. Different locations have different standards, but for the love of all that is holy please make sure you know what you're getting into and don't buy the package deal unless you KNOW they will uphold it because the stories of people getting scammed out of their package deals is in fact very true. No shade to those who love the dogs, but please management...get better at fixing your systems for employees and customers. Communication is important. In training, the trainers have taken the time to work with me and my puppy personally each time and has shown so much improvement! Today was her first day in doggie day care (7am-7pm) and the staff was so helpful providing me updates of her new friends, participation, mood and more- I even got a pet report card at the end of the day! I signed my pup up for 5 more days of daycare so I can get on track at work and I feel so good/confident that my pup is being well monitored, exercised and played with. The follow up visits warrant an update for this location. The personnel here are stepping up their ability to show better effort to care for my feathered child. I used this place to board my first hatched feathered child and was allowed to use a small cat cage at a reasonable cost for nine days while we were at an overseas destination. Check-in/out was easy. I provided an eating list and food and the medical records for Alex. Weekend staff wasn't really doing anything to care for my pet as all the lights were off at 12:30 in the afternoon in a room with no windows. There is a connection to a Facebook Page that gives visual updates, but dogs and cats were featured in updates more often than other pets. I received two updates over nine to ten days that showed a photo or two. I did want the caregiver to at least indicate that Alex was eating regularly, any behavior observed, or just sleeping a lot. I wasn't impressed, but had no choice but to leave her here.

This place is a really long drive for me. There are several vets that are closer, but we were…read moreforced to go out of the city because the power was out in our city and the surrounding area after some powerful storms in May. We were thankful that we could get an appointment right away here. Our dog had an ear infection. They were able to do an exam and prescribed some meds all for $200. I went back for a refill on the ear drops which cost another $50. While I was there, I asked if the tech could trim my dog's nails. That was about $28, no appointment necessary, and because they weren't busy, he was in and out in a matter of minutes. Surprisingly, they offer grooming here. We didn't sign up for this, but I found it interesting that vet and grooming services were both available here. This is a huge strip mall with lots of parking. The facility lobby appeared clean and new. The woman said they have been open two years now and have locations in a lot of other cities around Texas. I appreciate that the lobby is so big. It allows you to keep pets separated while waiting to be seen. Staff were kind and helpful. If this place were closer or in the City of Richardson, I would definitely consider switching.

Once again, they knocked it out of the park! Always an amazing grooming for my girl. No detail is missed. She comes out of there looking and smelling like a show dog! I'm picky about who I trust with my little pup. Very picky. I've never had anything but excellent grooming from Erika Ashley's Elite Dog Grooming. The best groomers (Alex is my favorite but all of them are superior), excellent front desk helpers that bend over backwards to help with appointments (I'm talking about you, Jeffrey!) and a very nice and clean facility that always smells like the yummy shampoo they use on the pets. Recommend this groomer over all others in dfw. We have 3 doodles- 1 golden doodle and 2 mini bernedoodles. We had tried so many other groomers in the area and they never got my babies looking like I wanted. My dogs were also terrified to go everytime. Then we found Erika Ashleys and we will never go anywhere else. Our babies always look perfect and they actually are excited to go to the groomers! Alex is phenomenal. It was my first time coming here and I was very pleased with how my dog was treated. I was told that her biggest hiccup when it comes to grooming is nail trimming, but perhaps with some exposure she will get used to it in the future. As far as her nail care is concerned, she smells great, and they did a great job on her nails as well. Due to the fact that she sheds a lot, they combed a lot of dog hair, which makes her feel soft and luxurious. There is literally a gleaming sheen to her fur. Excellent work with my large doodle. I explained that he needed a manageable cut for the rest of the summer since he likes to go in and out of the pool.
