Fusabowl Grilled Salmon poke

Delicious! Really enjoyed everything about this bowl. I added spicy tuna to the bowl as well and the portion sizes and amount of protein in the bowl was very impressive. Everything was fresh and flavorful and the wide variety of customizable options with vegetables/ sauces/ condiments make this an excellent place for dinner. Definitely trying again

I found the food at fusabowl pretty disappointing. The food was made to order and you get to add whatever you want in the bowl but I found the flavors bland. Although, because the food is customizable, it can be made healthier which is a positive. Another negative was the restaurant was cluttered with boxes. Not sure why this was the case but the restaurant was empty as well.

Welp this use to be my go to spot when I wanted something quick and healthy until today. The amount of time I had to wait for my food was crazy considering there was only 2 people in front of me. I could understand the wait if the line was out the door. But, since that was not the case and the food is cooked to order and in the order of the orders are taken there is no excuse. The only explanation is that they must of gave the person in front of me my order because, my order ended up coming out after the 2 ladies behind me that placed their order after me. Even they had a puzzled look on their faces wondering why their food was done before mine. When I inquired about the wait I was told because they were adding extra veggies since I asked for no rice. However, the veggies was portioned when my order was taken and it wasn't until I said something about the wait they realized they made a mistake and quickly threw together my order AGAIN!!! And the only thing they offered me was a "water cup"?! Ummm no thank you! I will not be coming back

Nothing says rainy day better than picking up food, sitting in your jammies, and watching a good show. In today's rainy weather, I decided to order some asian bowl. I had my eyes on Fusabowl for a long time, and today I went with it. Fusabowl has a big selection of bowls and sushi rolls and you can also custom create it with ingredients and sauces of your choice. It's a good deal for under $8. I wanted to try a Poke bowl since forever and ordered a custom veggie poke bowl with brocolli, onions, carrots, avocado in teriyaki and ginger sauce. It took like 5 minutes to be packed, and it smelled really, really good. In my first impression, I was very impressed that they use a bio-degradable box. I appreciate when a restaurant makes amends, however small, to be environment friendly. I'm more likely to come back just seeing this. After cleaning the bowl, I can say that the food was SPLENDID. The veggies were fresh and tasty, fused extremely well with the sauces. I personally liked the teriyaki more. The ginger was a little too gingery for me. But I signed up for that. The sushi rice was correctly cooked, but the bowl has a lot more rice than I anticipated or wanted. I guess I could alter that while ordering next time. Overall, I was impressed and I'd return. This place is hugely underrated maybe because of the plethora of options around. But, I hope to see it work!

Where's the raw fish?

This was my first visit and last! Stopped at the Woodlawn business and placed an order to go. I was watching him make my rolls. Got the California roll that was suppose to have tuna and salmon on it. Next was the eel roll. Got home and I got 4 small strips, 2 each of tuna and salmon, on 10 pieces with the California. I got more avocado then raw fish. Next was the eel. I was still looking for the eel in my 10 pieces but got to thinking maybe they were thinking it was Easter and I was to go hunting around for the eel. I'm surprised this restaurant has stayed open this long. So I'll pass from here on out.

Really good tasting food! Not too expensive for what you get, especially if you get the Fusa Bundle!

Completely messed up my order after I paid $40 for everything. Very frustrating. Not sure what can be done about this.

I warmed it in my air fryer for 6 minutes on 330 so it didn't overcook. The croissant was flaky and delicious, and the kimchi added good flavor without being spicy. My husband set an alarm for 5:58am to get ready to go to the site and try to get reservations for 7pm Saturday night. However, in the couple of seconds it took him to figure out how the reservation site worked, all 8 spots for the 7pm time slot were taken. 5pm was not our preference so he got lucky to get 2 spots at 9pm. Yay. All the sashimi was very tasty and super fresh. The range of flavors varied from creamy tuna taste to some fishy sardines. My favorite, a fish I never tried before, is Jackass - very delicious. Btw it was our first Omakase experience ever, and we look forward to trying more of these places in the future. With only 8 spots per seating, I really enjoyed the intimate ambiance, of talking with the chief and hearing him explain each dish.

They are reservation only and it can be a challenge to get a reservation, so make sure you check their Instagram to figure out when they become available. We came here for a dinner reservation. For the vibes, they have 8 seats and sell out basically every single reservation. There were 2 people making the sushi and they were both super friendly and made great conversation. Each bite was carefully crafted and came with a thorough explanation of the individual parts and how they fit together. I don't think my words will do enough to explain each bite, but check out the pictures if you are interested. They have a few beers, cocktails, sake, and whiskey if you are interested in a drink to go with your meal. Overall, worth a visit for an excellent omakase experience!

All seats at the bar were open, but we hoped to sit at a regular (not high-top) table. As it turned out there were a few options in the back. That said, it wasn't long before the place was packed. Our server Tyra was fantastic. Down to earth and helpful with recommendations. She made us feel welcome and comfortable. We started with Jumbo Ebi Shumai. Tyra asked if we wanted a fourth (the dish comes with three) so we wouldn't have to rock-paper-scissors for the third dumpling. I thought they were delicious. I loved the spicy mustard that came with them. I admit they had a slight fishy flavor. I mean it was shrimp and I enjoyed it. Mark is less of a fish fan in general. The dumplings didn't really hit the mark for him. If you like seafood and you like shrimp you should enjoy the Shumai. I opted for Tonkatsu Ramen - Ramen and thick creamy pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, ginger and green onion. I added black garlic oil and did not go spicy at all. I thought it was very good and I ate literally every drop. Mark had Spicy Miso Ramen - Ramen and spicy creamy soybean paste pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, and green onion. He said it was spicy, which was perfect for him. He also enjoyed his meal and finished every drop. We still had time to kill before the show so we opted for dessert. There were two options - Green Tea or Red Bean Ice Creams. Tyra recommended Red Bean and I'm glad she did. It was sweet with just the slightest crunch from the beans. It was a good size serving, hand dipped by Tyra. The proximity of Zundo to Memorial Hall or Music Hall makes it the perfect pre-show stop for dinner. We will definitely be back.
