It's just what we needed in Lorton. So unexpectedly good. We ordered calamari which was crunchy and came with a spicy sauce, cauliflower bites that were so light that they kids ate them without complaints, and they have cauliflower fried rice which is low carb and flavorful. Great place! Went in to try multiple appetizers and the food was so good! Highly recommend the Crab Rangoon and the Pork Dumplings. Very aesthetically pleasing as well. The setup was very modern and hip. The waitresses were really nice, welcoming, and charismatic often engaging in conversation apart from the normal modalities of serving. I can tell every person in that restaurant was having a great time, even given the fact that it was nearly 20 mins before they closed. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. My husband and I have been to the Fuse Box and have eaten delicious meals. The last two visits Sara took care of us. We enjoyed her company. She is an excellent waitress, pleasant, explaining items on the menu. She is always smiling. The restaurant adheres to all the social distancing rules. Can't wait to try something else on the menu. We ordered General Tsos Chicken and vegetable lo mein noodles. I actually came on here (yelp) and because of the reviews ordered. We have some allergies too fish. What I am trying to say is maybe the food is fresh but the problem is they cook it in the same pots and pans as the seafood. You can smell the "fishyness" or "seafood" throughout the chicken and lo mein noodles. Sometimes asian/chinese restaurants do this. They get lazy and do not wash their woks, pots, or pans. They cook VEGETARIAN food in the same pots as the seafood. Very rarely have I seen this for example at mcdonalds or burger king where they will fry the french fries in the same oil as the fish. This should be a BIG NO NO. Not only does it not taste good but also it can make people sick. read more

One of the most mediocre meals I've ever had. I asked for hot tea and was presented with a cup of sort-of-hot water and a generic America's Best Value brand tea bag. (What self-respecting Asian restaurant doesn't have a plentiful supply of already-brewed green tea on hand?) I ordered the special of the month - a noodle bowl. The broth was like a thin gravy, way too thick. It was edible, but overpriced at $22. For dessert my friend and I shared the mango with sticky rice. I don't know how long that mango had been around (or did it come from the freezer?), but it was tough and a weird texture. The rice tasted okay, but was coated in some kind of sticky coconut-flavored goo. Also, the music was waaaay too loud, and unfortunately unavoidable. Doesn't matter where you sit, you'll still be too close to a speaker. I've eaten many better versions elsewhere of the dishes I had at Fusebox. I'll give it a pass from now on. read more

Having recently moved to the area, we thought we would finally try Fusebox for takeout. We are so, so glad that we did. To be absolutely honest, when my family has Chinese food, I go somewhere else. It's usually too heavy for me. But this was absolutely amazing. The flavors were so amazing that every bite was delicious. We had the coconut shrimp, Thai fried rice with shrimp, and chicken lo mein. Unfortunately I was not impressed. In fact got sick from eating the food. I got sick after eating the first meal then got sick after the leftovers. I had the spring rolls which were the best part of my meal and had the general tsos which the chicken was chewy. Don't think I will return. And then there's the food...I had the ginger noodle salad...so fresh and flavorful. It had just the right amount of spice! My son had the chicken lo main. I made a Yelp account just to write this review. This was the most disappointing dining experience I've had in a LONG time. Don't get me wrong, the pictures and descriptions online make it sound quite enticing, but the reality is oh-so-disappointing. Of the seven different dishes we ordered, exactly one looked like the picture, and it's not the one you'd expect. I'm literally crying. I wish I could go back in time and slap myself for considering this. I'd give it less than 1 star if I could. But hey, the plain rice is pretty good! read more

I ordered from Fuse Box this week for the first time and was delighted with the food we picked up. It was hot (even the vegetable tempura which was delicious), easy to transport and plentiful. The chicken pad Thai had a bit of a kick to it (if you prefer no kick, just let them know when you order) but was otherwise excellent. The Peking duck rolls were exceptional and the very fresh and crisp salad with crispy beef could be a main course (the beef was wonderful). We also had chicken curry and dumplings, all excellent. I ordered for four people and there was enough left over for another meal! Total price was less than $ 15.00 per person. This will be our "go to Asian restaurant. This was my first time visiting this new restaurant. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. There was no waiting for seating and I was served immediately. The space is decorated Spartan but modern with a long bar running along 80% of one side with tables along the walls. The bar offers a wide array of top shelf choices, beers and wines. The menu has a wide range of classic Thai and Chinese choices. I ordered Pad Thai with chicken which was served promptly. The food was excellent. The menu earned the dish would be hot which it was with fresh cut jalapeños slices. The spiciness was easily regulated by steering away from the peppers. The dish also had fresh scallions which testifies to the prepare to order kitchen. Reusable chop sticks were great. Comfortable padded chaired, two large screen TVs, and rock music playing on speakers. Overall exceptionally good new Thai option. Will definitely come back or order takeout! read more
