    Pad See Ew

Whenever I come to Panisa for lunch I always receive quick service and delicious food! Today I had the pad see ew with beef added. It was so flavorful. I love the sauce and if you like spices they have a spice tray where you can select from four spices. I also ordered Thai tea to go. The menu has been recently updated. Panisa has lunch specials to select from as well. My friend had the crispy chicken from the lunch menu. We were both happy with our meals. Lunch portion is a little bit smaller portion.

Ordered food to go but was surprised to see the bill. It was much more expensive than the price listed on Yelp. It was so misleading. Someone needs to update the menu price. Beef Pad Thai- Beef was rough and overcooked. The noodles are too sweet for me. Not worth it for $17.The menus shows $10.95 though.

    Spring rolls

Food is delicious in the environment is so comfortable and included. Free for families and customer service is quick efficient.

So good! My new favorite local Thai spot. I tried the basil fried rice, pad thai, panang curry, spring rolls, and Thai tea. All were tasty and fresh. The in-person service while I awaited my order was solid as well. Would recommend.

We order from this location fairly frequently. I would recommend this place. The actual restaurant is very pleasant. Staff is friendly. Food is yummy. We order the noodles and the curries. You won't be disappointed. Safe bet if you are in the mood for Thai.

We went yesterday 20 minutes before closing and hadn't realized the time. But they were happy to serve us lunch. We were able to stay after closing with no rush. And the food was delicious! I absolutely recommend

Stopped here after a hair appointment to grab some lunch that wasn't fast food, and the fellow Yelp reviews persuaded me. A young man greeted me, and I asked to place an order to go. He handed me their menu but I read here to ask for their daily lunch specials. It was a handwritten list of 5-6 options, so I went for the Massaman Curry Chicken and added an order of spring rolls. They quoted a 10-minute wait, but it was bagged and ready for me in more like 5! I ate it at home, 20 minutes away, and it was still warm! The spring rolls were nice and crispy with a flavorful dipping sauce that wasn't too sweet like some others I've had. The lunch portion was a very good size and value. (This could have been an ample portion for dinner too, esp with the addition of spring rolls that I didn't have to share!) One side of the plastic portioned container had the yellow curried chicken and potatoes in sauce, and the other side had the jasmine rice with a vegetable mix of broccoli and thinly sliced carrot rounds. The Massaman curry was well-seasoned and flavorful; you could clearly taste the balance of spices and coconut milk. Delicious! I'll definitely be coming here again when I have the occasion to be in Burke.

Thai basil chicken. The dinner option.

The panang curry from Panisa is the best curry I've ever had. 10/10 recommend the tofu too.

Now that they have more customers, it seems like they don't pay as much attention to the food or service. My last visit before today was in early June 2026. I returned on August 2026 for a family birthday, but the experience was so disappointing that I changed my rating from five stars to two. The portions were about one-third smaller. The mussels were very fishy, the crispy tofu and duck were not fried enough, and the Pad Prik Pao was too salty. The crispy duck dish also looked completely different. The vegetables and overall presentation were strange, and it seemed like a newly created dish rather than the one I used to enjoy. The restroom was out of soap, and two flies kept flying around the restaurant. After ordering four appetizers and four entrées, we were also charged $2 for one serving of rice to eat with our leftovers. I didn't argue because I didn't want to ruin the birthday celebration any further, but I don't think I'll return

Maybe I'm just ordering the wrong entrées, but that's been my experience so far. One thing they definitely don't mess around with is spice. I ordered medium, and it had me sweating by the end of the meal. Our favorites are the crispy rice salad and the fried watercress salad--both are packed with flavor and worth ordering every time. On previous visits, we also really enjoyed the oyster pancake and the Goong Chae Nam Pla (raw shrimp). Service has always been excellent too. I came here with a friend for lunch on a Thursday. I was relieved to see several patrons already there especially since this location feels more like an unassuming, off the beaten path, dilapidated, truck stop, hole in the wall. I ordered the Pad Thai lunch combo with the side salad and boy was the dressing on the salad sensational. It was sophisticatedly sweet and packed full of umami. I think I could eat that all day. When the Pad Thai arrived, I was also pleasantly surprised with the taste; however, two things struck me as very odd -- the thin noodles and white color! It did not have the familiar reddish look of tamarind which I thought was essential for Pad Thai. Regardless, it was delicious and I ate everything. Not a single morsel of food was left. If i weren't eating with polite company, I would have probably slurped the remaining dressing from the salad bowl. I'm definitely coming back and it shouldn't be difficult because the prices seem fairly inexpensive.
