First time trying this place out after they've been open for quite awhile already. The place seems pretty clean and quiet. There was another table or two when I got in. I came here with my friend and ordered their lunch special 3 rolls and a sashimi lunch special. Price wise, they are pretty match up with other Japanese restaurants. Food quality is only kinda below average to me, if I compare to other same level Japanese restaurants. Both my friend and I feel the sushi not fresh enough. And their sushi rolls are too loose and lack of rice. Service wise is still acceptable. The waitress didn't asked if we need water though, but maybe because we brought in a Vietnamese coffee inside with us. But she would at least check if everything was ok. Would I have return in the future? Maybe, if they increase their quality. Definitely room for improvements.

We stopped here for sushi one evening and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. We ordered the yellowtail jalapeño appetizer which was very good. We also ordered a plate of sashimi and two rolls, an eel avocado roll and a shrimp tempura roll. The shrimp tempura roll is the best we've ever had. There are mouthfuls of shrimp in it! You will love it. Do not miss the shrimp tempura roll!

My son wanted Sushi for his Birthday dinner, so I turned to Yelp and was not disappointed. This is a small place in a shopping center, very nice and clean inside. The food and the service were great. I had the mango chicken and it was very good, sweet & a little spicy. We also had the tempura cheesecake and tempura ice cream for dessert. They came recommended by another Yelper & did not disappoint. This will definitely become one of our go to places.

I came here with my mom yesterday for lunch, as we were looking for sushi in the area. Walking in, the restaurant was decorated very nicely and we were seated right away. We ordered the Duck Spring Rolls, a California Roll, and a Peanut Avocado Roll. The spring rolls were unique and delicious! There was a generous amount of cucumber that we watched be cut specifically for our order. The sushi was also very good. I thought the Peanut Avocado Roll was unique and a great way to combine some of my favorite foods! If I am in the area again I will certainly be back to try more!

Sushi after 3 years in Japan was soso. Not great but good. The Miso was ok, the sushi roll eel was ok. The tempura ice cream, a take from fried icecream was a 2/5. The place was clean. The Japanese restaurant is run by Chinese. Take that for what its worth. The service was 1.5 out of 5. Not what you would expect from Japanese restaurants but again these weren't Japanese. Wouldn't go out of my way again to come here.

Went out to dinner here and the food it great! It was affordable and the portions were well sized and they came VERY quick, I recommend this place to people who enjoy sushi or hibachi. Great scenic place to eat, nice staff and will come again!!

I was debating if I should try this restaurant since it is new and it didn't have much reviews. But after going through some of the reviews I decided to give it a try ( the lower reviews were not about the food quality). I decided to get the teriyaki combo with shrimp and chicken it was really good! The hibachi rice was my favorite thing from the combo but everything else was just as good. Would definitely recommend !!!

Very delicious, we ordered sashimi and tempura which came with miso soup and salad with ginger dressing. Place is very clean and cute inside. Very modern vibe. Seats are very comfortable to sit in. Service was very friendly.

First off, what everyone needs to know is the food was absolutely delicious! The sushi was fantastic and the lunch shrimp bento was fabulous also. I ordered the pineapple and shrimp rice which blew my mind, so happy I tried it. Impressed mostly with the customer service. I ordered delivery via Grub hub bc I wasn't feeling great & that was a disaster. 90 min after I ordered, called Grub hub to tell them I was notified my order was on the way approximately 30 min after I'd place the order. Never showed. They asked me to wait another 30 min which I did. Never showed. I was hangry and called Futomaki directly to ask if it had in fact been picked up, the woman apologized sincerely even though I had told her I was not blaming them and she had my order delivered in 20 min! Due to a slight language barrier I am unsure if it was ever picked up by grub hub or not but I will definitely be frequenting this establishment again. read more

I got the 2 roll lunch special. I wasn't wowed by the sushi. It was good and fresh, but not memorable! I will say that the SALAD was the best salad I ever had! The lettuce was amazing and it was the best ginger dressing in the world! I'd give 4.5 stars if I could! read more

Ordered by phone. Order was incorrect and I had to go back because of food allergies. Normally I would have eaten it anyway and let them know. They prepared a new order while I waited. Inexcusable that the sushi chef had to be reminded to wear a face mask while preparing food. The sushi rolls I can't say they were very tasty. I don't think I'll be returning. read more

Finally, a great spot for sushi close to my neighborhood, (Gloucester City). Everything was fresh and delicious. Our order was accurate and on time. The menu is large with plenty to choose from and they even offer lunch specials Monday-Saturday. If you are craving sushi please give this place a try. You won't be disappointed. I really want them to survive this pandemic so I can continue ordering from them. read more

Hands down the best place to get a spicy tuna roll. We had take out last night and this roll hit the spot. It is honestly spicy. But not like burn your face off spicy. Great new sushi spot for Camden County! I've been trying to find a good sushi restaurant since I moved to the area from Philly, and they fit the bill. Not quite on the level of some of the high end restaurants in the city, but excellent for south jersey takeout. Can't wait for everything to get back to normal so we can get a real dine in experience. Food was ready on time, and our requests were met. We will definitely be ordering again and I hope you order from here as well because we need them to survive this crazy time we live in. read more

I had high expectations when I placed my online order. I was disappointed a second later when I was called and told that they weren't delivering to me even though I'm well within the 5 miles specified on the website (waterfont Camden). I opted to come pick it up and then was called back again to tell me that my card didn't process. I said that I would pay when I picked up and my drive had me arriving right when it should've be done. Once I arrived the young lady attempted to process my card and told me that maybe I didn't have enough money because it wasn't being processed. I assured her that the funds were there and I couldn't help think about how rude that was to suggest. After it finally processed I asked her for my food. She said that it would be a few minutes. Apparently they hadn't even begun making my food. I was so annoyed that with my total 25 minute wait that food that was supposed to be ready in 12 minutes was not and now I had to drive back. Oh and about the sushi it was just ok. Nothing special, one of my rolls (pepper Tuna) was drenched it mayo sauce. I'll be on the hunt for another spot and I wouldn't recommend this place unless you live close. The service turned me off and the sushi was meh. read more

The food was pretty appetizing, the ginger was delicious. The Avacodo wasn't that fresh in my California roll. The fried rice was alright, wouldn't eat it again tho. The service wasn't that good. It was more of an sit in or whatever. The store it self cute but there was a BUG??!!?? A tiny little bug crawling around it was touching the plates and it was very nasty. This place is absolutely gorgeous as soon as you walk in you are kindly greeted by one of the workers. There is usually no wait time and dood is prepared quickly for you. I ordered the steak hibachi and a mango Hawaii roll and both were absolutely delicious. The quality of ingredients used are of the best!
