This was my first time here since them transitioning from Maita Honda to Future Honda and my experience was nothing less than smooth. I didn't even come in that day expecting to leave with a new car. However, my old car was having transmission problems and they took that and accommodated me in the best way possible with a trade in and put me in a nicer vehicle: 4 door (my last car was a 2, ugh!), cleaner, bigger back up camera, and way more. Called late Friday and service center got me in next day Saturday. I jimmy rig it up long to get down there. Check in Service guy and my Advisor Julian Kuper said they would get me in as soon as possible. Lucky for me it turned out to be an easy fix and I was back out running errands again under an hour. One year ago I purchased a use Honda CRV and traded-in our old Passport. Transaction was ok except for the over bearing finance guy who tried to up-sell me every possible warranty package they had which would add thousands to the end bill. Please stop just give me the car i don't need your add ons. Some 6 months later I get a call from my Insurance company stating there is a claim on my insurance regarding the car I traded in as Future Honda did not correctly file the paperwork correctly so they towing company and the insurance company are coming after me for damages. I come to find out that it has severe body damage throughout the whole car and I told them I wanted my money back because it's not a certified car with damage. Over a month ago I bought a car from Future Honda from Herbie. While we were looking for a all wheel drive Herbie showed me a few cars one we looked at was a High Altitude Jeep. We had to go to Future Ford at the Roseville automall once we arrive we looked at it. This was my first time looking for something with all wheel drive. Herbie then told me it was not an High Altitude it was just a Altitude but still had the 4x4. I was trading in my 2012 Ford Escape. I Bought the Jeep and the very next day as I was going through the car and exploring it I noticed it was not 4x4 and called Herbie. He then told me that they could not take that car back and they was no warrantee on the car. but the car was also pre Certified!?! Come to a month later after many calls to Herbie and being sent to his voice mail. I get a call from my previous finance Company stating the car had not been paid off yet and was now past due. I was told not to pay it by Herbie due to trading it in. So I take a hit on my Credit for that and the 5 places they ran my credit through. The bank ends up deciding not to go through with the loan. I go back and they tell me I have to re run my credit again and then they wanted more money down and higher payment because now my credit was not as good as it was a month ago cause of this. I decided to undo this can get my car back once That night I noticed that all my back seat headrest are missing. Saturday I text Alton to ask what happened he said they would figure that out. I texted Alton back on Monday to no reply it is now Wednesday and still nothing back. my car should have been returned the same way I left it not missing things out of it!!!! Dishonest and will waste your time. My wife and I were assured by 4 different salesmen, Zena, Zachariah, Tareq and Vic (first red flag-multiple touchpoints) that we would get A 2025 CR-V Sport-L under 41k if we came in. When we arrived a few hours later, the one we wanted had magically left the lot (2nd red flag-bait and switch). They showed us a CR-V in a different and we agreed that we'd take it if the price was under 41k. They come back with a higher offer and a tacked on service contract (3rd red flag-long waiting times to wear you down). We politely refused, reminded them of their promise, and Zena says he'll talk to his manager (who, according to a later story left at 4 or 5). More waiting. Comes back with a new piece of paper with a price nowhere near what we'd discussed. "Let me talk to my manager......" Finally comes back and says he can't do a deal because his manager left (I've lost count of the red flags at this point). They made us drive to their store never once intending to actually make a deal. I made the appointment on line and chose the first one available (7:15) so I can get to work after. After getting checked in I ask about how long. 1 1/2 to 2 hours!!!! Took my 2018 accord in with a stalling issue. After charging me $1200 the problem came back less than a week later. Once I brought the car in I left it for a day then called in to get an update the next afternoon(no one followed up until I called) they told me that the problems were close to fixed and would be finished by the morning. They then called the next day and told me there was still huge issues and that it would cost a minimum of $5000 to repair. After getting a second opinion from a Japanese auto repair shop it was determined that I had a dirty fuel tank and higher grade gas and fuel injector cleaner was all that was needed. Once I called in to speak with the service manager he tried to give me half of the service I didn't actually need in an attempt to save face. Once I spoke with the general manager Kevin he took no accountability, offered no solution and kept interrupting me while I was speaking to the point where I had to call him on it. Got a third opinion the same day and it was determined there were no sever issues with my vehicle. These guys are crooks find another shop to get repairs done because they will try to rip you off. read more

I bought a preowned Honda Civic. Very nice car. The salesmen were very friendly and helpful and they just couldn't do enough for me. But later that night I realized that one of the keys doesn't work. I called then went back to the dealership to get a replacement key. When I tried to get a hold of the salesman, he was avoiding me. Then I was told that the manager said they're not going to replace it. The salesman and the manager were completely different people. I won't go there again. It would have been one star, on the other hand, if it wasn't for this incident, we would have never gone to Capitol City Honda and got a new CR-V for MSRP; where there was NO extra add-ons, NO market adjustment, NO haggling. Previously, at Future Honda we had made a deal, but the car sold to someone else 5 minutes earlier; that happens. Our great salesman, Mike (and JJ), talked to the manager and they found the same car was likely on its way from the factory, and they agreed to make us the same deal we had reached on the car we missed out on. We followed that new car on-line and I made regular contact with Mike as we waited. When a VIN number and stock number were added to the online posting for that car, I contacted Mike for status. When he got back to me, he had good news and bad. This car was on its way to the dealership, but due to a dwindling inventory at Future, they would only sell the car to me for an additional $2,000 more than we had previously agreed upon for the vehicle we missed out on, and they felt that was still a good deal. We told Mike, due to the change in price we were no longer interested. This forced us to canvass Honda dealers from the Bay northward, and because of this we visited Capitol City Honda and we saved significant money. So, I am ultimately grateful for what occurred, but I don't know if that justifies a 5-Star rating for Future...lol. read more

We bought cars from here and went for service. If Sam is your service guy fire him on the spot. recently my daughter took her car to future Honda. The future is not bright. They charged her 185 dollars just to diagnose her window repair. Driver side window was not rolling up. Then Sam wanted to charge her 350 dollars plus to fix it. found the part on amazon for 30 dollars a window guy said it is super easy and would do it for free. They replaced her starter for 1200 plus dollars sure that was a rip off. Sam Replaced a battery I didn't authorize to replace and charged us 200 dollars. I asked for a refund and gave them the battery back. Sam said he would refund it but never did. I called and talked to a guy on the phone said they would refund battery plus labor. They only refunded the battery not labor. This place is so Horrible. Never take your car to this place unless you love getting taken advantage of. This place sucks so bad. They had an estimate of work they wanted to do that was over 10,000 dollars on a 2000 dollar car. I can't say enough what a rip off artist these people are. The typical car dealership that you wanted to avoid. Lots of sales talk and several trips away from desk to check on everything we asked from do they have the car on the lot to unwilling to budge on used car sticker price. Had to leave desk to call another dealer to see if a car of interest was still on their lot and what the status was (ready to sell or not). Then waiting for a call back while we listened to more sales talk. If the car was on the lot, there were other people of interest so buyer needs to decide now. Everything that had to be checked took a long time - even the wait to get to the finance guy to make the purchase. Very clear about selling the car "as is" no warranty whatsoever unless you wanted to pay $250 for a 2 day window plus $500 restocking fee to return the car and cancel the sale. Next time I'm looking for a car, new or used, I will not go to any Future Honda dealer. As an aside, the best dealer I'ver ever worked with was Elk Grove Mazda. Very efficient, no sales chatter, super reasonable on price (new car), no pressure. The kind of dealership you would dream about. read more

First time coming here and I really regret it. I had made a appointment online to get my oil changed and tires rotated at 11:30 am and ended up leaving at 3:15 pm. So that's about 4 hours total if you included the time I arrived early at 11:15 am and waited to be checked in. So I patiently waited in the Lobby break area for 2 hours and my Service advisor craig didn't even give me any status update on when my Vehicle was gonna be ready. So I went to the front desk and asked the receptionist lady (who by the way was really helpful) about my car status and waiting time. Well she went and asked my service advisor and later told me it would be a few minutes. Well that few minutes turned into another 1 hour 45 minutes. Now I've been to other Honda Dealership for oil changed and tire rotation and they usually are able to get me in and out in a timely manner under 1.5 hours or less. Like Seriously 3 hours and 45 minutes for an oil changed and tire rotation you've got to be kidding me. I mean i can understand if I was also having other work done on my car like changing my brake and wheel alignment. But 3 hours and 45 minutes for an oil changed and tire rotation is totally unacceptable. I won't be coming back here ever again and would rather drive out to Davis Honda Dealerships for better customer service read more
