I went to Alex for a 3M gloss black vinyl roof wrap on my brand new 2015 Mazda 6. I figured since this place has perfect star reviews, I'd be in good hands. Boy was I wrong. Alex notified me that there would be imperfections shown if my car's roof had any. I figured this wouldn't be a problem because I clay barred it and inspected it the night before. It's literally a brand new car(under 1k miles) so there shouldn't be any imperfections. My roof came out completely horrible. There were streaks literally everywhere, bubbling in the cracks, and one of the streaks even made a box-like pattern on my roof. That is NOT an imperfection. Paint is NEVER sprayed on like that. The wrap was NOT installed properly near the moonroof. Whenever I pulled the moonroof back, the wrap would crinkle from not being affixed properly. I have uploaded pictures for reference. I took it back to Alex and was told that my brand new car had imperfections and it was my car's fault. I believed him at first but I personally went to Eileen B. of 3M to get it personally inspected. She told me the installer either used the squeegee too hard(gloss black is known to scratch very easily) or the surface was not properly dried before applying the wrap. I even got a second opinion with Daniel from 3M and was told the same thing. I called Alex and he told me he'd be at a car show and wouldn't be able to schedule me till next Wednesday. I come exactly at 10am and he comes fashionably late. at 10:30am. He proceeds to tell me that we had scheduled for Monday even though I was absolutely certain he told me Wednesday. He then proceeded to tell me he was out of the 3M vinyl wrap. I took the day off work to meet up with him. Why would you schedule me for Wednesday(let alone the supposed Monday) when you don't even have the wrap available. We rescheduled for the following Saturday morning as a result. I come exactly on time in the morning and guess what? He says he has another car to wrap before starting on mine. I waited 10 hours in the end to get my vinyl roof done. It takes an average of 1-2 hours to do a vinyl roof wrap on a sedan like mine. Removal of the vinyl roof wrap does NOT take long. How do I know? I asked him for a refund because it was clear he could not properly do vinyl roof wraps. It took him a total of 35 minutes to do it. He just left it in the sun and started peeling away. After he rewrapped my roof a second time, there was still bubbling and 2 streaks on the front of my roof. There was some sort of detailer or soap residue on my windows which he didn't bother wiping down. He even tried to roof wrap another customer's car and failed to do so. Ended up letting the customer know that he couldn't do anything for the customer hours after he waited. I think he waited nearly 4-5 hours before being told his car couldn't get vinyl wrapped. Honestly if I didn't have to go through such a hassle to even get the roof redone, I wouldn't have minded. But the way Alex handled it was unprofessional. I didn't feel like my satisfaction was of top priority to him in the least bit. I had to push to get my roof redone. Scheduling was a nightmare with him. I'm very passionate and anal about my car. If you still plan on getting your roof wrapped, take PLENTY of pictures and inspect it VERY closely. If you see bubbles in the corners or streaks(so many streaks), you're better off going somewhere else. I haven't gotten any other work done by him so I can't attest to the quality of work there but for vinyl roof wrapping I can confidently say the quality of installation is poor. read more

Well I usually do not write bad reviews, this is my last choice. I went to fuzion teknique to get my bumper painted for my 3 series less than a 6 months ago. With in 2 months of being painted it started to peel really badly not rock chips but actually peeling off. I told them if they would mind holding my bumper for me. The said they would, I came back and they no long have it, I'm pretty sure it was sold, my original bumper was in great condition to just throw away. I will post pictures of my front bumper painted by them. They choose to do nothing about it also. I dislike how I paid 300 dollars to paint this then it goes to crap instantly. The thing that I liked the most and what was different from other shops was that Alex kept me involved during the whole paint process: beginning to end. He called me into the shop for each phase of the job, checking if I approved with how the paint turned out and if it matched the paint on my FRS. Alex did not move on to the next step until I was completely satisfied. Also, the candy purple paint that they did on my wheels turned out amazing! My first mod ever was done by Alex. It was when I bought an FRS. Ever since then, I've gained a long trustworthy relationship with this guy. Trusting Mechanics are hard to come by, but what I appreciate with Alex is that he is upfront with everything. He'll literally show you what your issue is, unlike other mechanics where they tell you to come back later and then tell you all these other issues that was never brought up in the first place and then you're forced to pay more. I've stayed at his shop for hours watching the type of work they would do with my car and realize that there are times where the level of work is no joke. Alex will do whatever it takes to make your car work / look better / etc. The ability to just chat with him about anything and to have a welcoming shop means a lot to me as a customer. read more

Professionals? I don't think so. They are not great at customer service. Alex, I'm guessing is the owner of the place, will not show any interest in you until you get to the shop. Plus he tries to charge you extra for every minor things you ask. If you're here for the first time, make sure you compare the price he quotes you with other places before you decide to leave your car here. In my case, I was having some electrical issues and Alex fixed both issues. He does clean work and left it as original from factory. The guy KNOWS his line of work and I wouldn't hesitate twice taking it to him for any kind of work. There are those who know "certain areas" of car work, but Alex is an "all around hands on" guy. I'll get straight to the point. Fuzion Teknique did an amazing job with my BRZ. Here are some of the things they did. - Rocket Bunny Widebody Kit - Repaint - Fixed a bunch of deep dents/scratches on the body panels (I didn't even ask them to do it) - Jackson Racing Supercharger install - Flex Fuel kit - Injectors & Fuel Pump - Carbon Fiber Gauge Pod - Revel Gauges - A bunch of other little things that I can't remember I'll share some thoughts on a few things. So I'll start off with the body kit. The body kit install was extremely well done. Attention to detail was spot on. The little things like making sure the fenders aligned and proper fitment were not ignored. The rocket bunny kit was mainly designed for the FRS, but Fuzion modified the kit to fit perfectly to my BRZ. The repaint they did was also amazing. Made my car look brand new. Now the supercharger with flex-fuel. Again, the install was great. When I was finally able to drive my car, I drove it 100 miles (to break-in the supercharger) and then an extra 200 miles, because why not? Didn't run into a single issue. Flex fuel kit was great. No issues. Gauges and gauge pod install were great. The last point I want to touch up on are the people. Great guys. Communication was great. HONEST. They will give you their honest opinion about certain things or products. From my experience, they don't want you to destroy your car with meaningless parts and whatnot. Talking about HONEST! Well i took my Lexus to replace my HID lights and replace part of my door handle. I saved approx $575-$700. I drove here from Cypress/The O C and it was beyond worth it! Being a woman I'm always afraid of being taken advantage of. They ordered the parts and I made appointment it both got fixed in 1-hour. Alex was so helpful and polite and i TRUST telling the world to take advantage great work and awesome price. They do mechanical, Body work, Hid lights, Rims, You name it they seem to do it! I could literally go to Alex and the team at Fuzion Teknique for just about anything I need for my car, whether it's for parts and/or service. Always extremely helpful with knowledge necessary for me to make the best decision for my car. Most recently got four new tires replaced on my BMW as well as breaks and rotors. Before installing my tires (as I was changing the size of them to lower profile) Sin was kind enough to show me what different sizes would look like using extra tires they had around the shop. Then I was really able to get a better gauge of how I wanted my car to look etc. They are always working hard around the shop and have some sort of awesome project to attend to when they aren't busy with every day customers. Alex and his crew are good at what they do. I initially went there to get a little bit of vinyl work done but ended up going back three times since for custom paint work/ parts installation on both of my vehicles. My only issue with them is that they are by no means quick and will likely take longer than they estimate. In addition to this, it seems like Alex runs the shop mainly to support his hobbies of race cars and motorcycles. This is good because he's passionate about what he's doing, but not so good if you want your work done before he goes to some event, or works on his own/ his buddy's stuff. I found this place on Yelp whilst looking for a vinyl wrap install for my hood and am very glad I did so. Alex and his crew not only accommodated my request same day - with me supplying my own wrap (which some installers are loathe to do) but Alex also gave me a realistic appraisal of what to look out for and set my expectations properly. | I saw he and his team work on the car for 3-4 hours, and their attention to detail and perfectionism (which is crucial for this kind of job which is both tedious and also prone to going wrong) was truly inspiring. And the end result exceeded expectations. I was sweating on what the final bill would be - I was quoted one figure, but that was on the basis of a couple of hours work - not half a day Alex then charged me $100 for a 3-4 hr job - roughly half what he originally quoted when he thought the job would be quicker. I felt so bad that I offered to pay more but Alex wasn't having any of it. So not only a talented team, but an exceptionally honest one too. A little background I've been trying to get my roof wrapped for about a year. I've called/emailed a lot of companies prior to finding Fuzion. No one returned my call or emails. I had a guy who was supposed to come to my house on sat & do it, but he never returned the text to confirm. I called & spoke with Alex on 6 March 15. He gave me a quote that was the same price I was going to pay the mobile guy. I asked did he have any openings on sat 7 March 15 incidentally he had a 10 am available. I took it. I got to Fuzion & spoke to Alex & within 10 mins my car was pulled into the bay & he personally did my car. I watch intermittently as he worked & was happy I didn't buy the film & do it myself. I also saw a lot of bikes in various stages & he told me about the work the do on bikes too. I ride to & don't always want to do the work myself. Just after 12 noon my car was finished & looked great!! Better than I had hoped. Alex also wrapped the shark fin antenna which I wasn't even expecting. Great honest shop with great prices. Took my 2006 Toyota Camry in for a check engine light and was serviced right away just in time for my smog test. Ask for Alex when you come in. He is the owner of the shop and makes sure you leave the shop happy with a well maintained car. Also, looks like they also service race cars as well as regular cars like my toyota camry. They also have a body shop for those who have an accident. Overall great experiance and would definitely recommend this shop. Will be back for further maintenance when needed. read more

I own a 2014 FRS and had multiple issues with the car + DCH Toyota mechanics ruining my car. I ran across Fuzion Teknique in the FRS forum (ft86club.com) as the best FRS specialized shop in the South Bay area. Since it was close to my house I decided to give them a visit. Since then, I have only been going to Fuzion for all my car's needs. Alex(owner) is very friendly and honest. They not only have great prices for parts and installation (any work on the car actually) but also the service and honesty is what I really appreciate. I have recommended couple of my coworkers and they absolutely loved the shop as well (one owns a 2006 s2k, other owns a 2006 lotus elise). I am glad that I have finally found a mechanic that I trust and I would recommend anyone to this place if you really care about your car.
