I love this place! It's 5 min away from where I live. I love that you can order online ahead of time for food pickup. Only thing is I wish they had curbside service. Nice staff and Best breakfast tacos around. I have been to a few locations and its never a disappointment. There isn't much to say about the chain. The tacos are awesome and they have a good variety. My favorite item on the menu are the Beef Nachos with all the fixins! Perfect place to grab a Beer or Margarita and dress casual with no pressure to dress up. I usually search these out if I'm near one. My lunch today was good, as usual but my gripe is with the fish taco I ordered as a side. It is advertised as a tempura fried fish taco. It was any but tempura. Tempura is generally a LIGHT batter often made with a soft cake FLOUR to keep it light. Often times it uses cold or sparkling water to keep the lightness. My piece of fish was more like a Southern style, cornmeal fried and way to dense. I'll definitely stop by a Fuzzy's again, just won't order the fish taco. read more

I only gave this place 3 stars because I ordered a two ground beef burritos to go and when I got home I got two ground beef tacos. This happened to me two times in a row when I went there. It's hard to believe that Fuzzy's tacos are expanding all over the metroplex. Despite the disappointing reviews I've heard about Fuzzy's awhile back, I decided to check it out for myself. Someone recommended the pork tacos and the fish tacos. I ordered two of each. Tacos typically come with lots of lettuce, feta cheese, cheddar, tomato, and cilantro. Feta cheese... oh come on. I thought the pork was bland and a little on the dry side. It was like taco bueno meets cafe in Athens. The fish tacos were battered thin trips of fish (tilapia i think) and were decent. Nothing spectacular about it except the texture was good. This place was packed on the weekend and I can't see why. Oh eating at this place made me miss Taco El Si Hay in Oakcliff. Extremely disappointing service with a very good product. When waiting for your number to be called is really frustrating. The people at Fuzzy's seem to have no clue as to how to enunciate so you can hear your number. Several in my party went to the counter thinking they had been called. Well I really loved the soft tacos, I tried chicken, grilled fish & veggie, but NOT ONE of the cooks used gloves while preparing my food (I was waiting for my food cause I had a to-go order & could plainly see the workers) therefor I don't believe I'll be back. This is probably one of the better locations, hence the 5 star. The girls at the order counter are always very nice and the food is made pretty damn quick. I loved their tacos, however recently they have started freezing their corn tortillas which of course makes the tacos taste like freezer. The salsa is not spicy, just sort of warm chunky tomato sauce however the habanero sauce on the tacos is nice. Things have been on the decline at this location. read more

This review focuses entirely on the appalling customer service I received tonight, so let me briefly cover the food: It was good. Not bad, not great. Just good. But, considering the rest of the narrative I'm about to deliver, far from worth my time or money. Let me preface this review by stating that I'm a very non-confrontational person. I like to take the path of least resistance and move on. If my order's not correct, but if it's only SLIGHTLY off, I'll usually let it go. Generally speaking, it really takes a lot to make me lose my cool. But the service I encountered tonight truly pissed me off. After getting outstanding massages at the Crystal Reflexology place that's a few suites down in the same shopping center, my girlfriend and I decided to head over for a bite to eat at Fuzzy's just before 9. The lady at the counter was friendly enough, even excitedly recommending the borracho beans to my girlfriend (I'm not a bean guy, but I appreciated her zeal). We placed our order, got some drinks, and stepped outside to grab a table so we could enjoy the lukewarm summer night. It was shaping up to be a great Saturday. Almost immediately upon sitting down--about a minute after ordering--my girlfriend checked her phone and got a message that, in summary, meant she needed to be back home. So she asked me to quickly step back inside to see if we could change the orders to "to-go." Seemed pretty simple and a task easily accomplished. The orders had seriously been put in 1-2 minutes prior. There were no customers in line behind us, and I'm fairly certain that we had been the last to order. When I reapproached the counter, I asked the lady if we could change our order to go. "What order?" she asked. This threw me for a loop; I froze. What? Like...what. We'd JUST put our order in a minute before. So I said as much: "The order I just put in." "What order?" she asked again, as though the ridiculous question would somehow evolve an air of significance the second time around. I had no clue what to say--was I supposed to repeat my whole order? Produce an order number? Their Point of Sale terminals were modern, touch-screen, computerized devices. I didn't have the receipt. I wasn't expecting that I would need it in order to identify the last-placed order. In any event, I shrugged it off, stepped outside, and grabbed the receipt from my girlfriend, returning to the counter to pass it to the employee. She disappeared to the kitchen for no more than 10 seconds and returned to tell me that they'd already begun preparing it. "But what you can do is just put it in to-go boxes when you get it." So, basically, the answer to my request was a resounding "No." At this point my mind was totally blown. I couldn't conceive of what was being done to the food that would prevent the kitchen staff from immediately changing course and putting it in containers with lids rather than the open-faced dine-in containers. If they'd already started using dine-in trays...throw them away and scoop the food into take-out boxes. Right? We were the paying customers, tendering a very reasonable request in a very timely manner, so that seemed logical to me. But I wasn't mad yet. Path of least resistance, I thought. Let's just get the food, get out, and hold onto the great vibes lingering after our wonderful massages. So we waited by the expo counter where the cooks were preparing the food. When our order was up, my girlfriend asked the cooks for to-go boxes. "Oh, you want this to go?" It was as though this was news to them. So they took the food they'd just prepared on dine-in trays and scooped it into take-out containers. Which is exactly. What. We'd. Requested. And then been told was not possible. So this led me to wonder what exactly had been said when the counter employee disappeared to the back for a few seconds only to determine that the Fuzzy's kitchen staff were unable to convert a dine-in order to take-out. Had she even asked at all? No matter; that was beside the point. Ultimately, I left in a very bad mood. I felt like they'd been bothered by my simple request. And honestly, I feel silly typing all this out, because it was such a minor thing. But that's just it--it was so minor a request that it should have been easily and quickly complied with. But it wasn't. I'll probably eat at Fuzzy's again in the future if one happens to be nearby and I happen to get a particular craving...but treating me like I'm really putting you out? No, thanks. I'll take my money elsewhere, and I'll leave this review advising others to do the same. For the atmosphere, attitude, and quality of food, you can do much better for your money without driving too far. So Fuzzy's, if I've inconvenienced you, please accept this as my public apology and my vow to never return to this location to cause any more trouble. I'll make sure all my fellow order changers stay out of your hair, too. read more

I live near here and we order to go often for lunch. I have on multiple occasions ordered a tempura fish burrito. It used to be my favorite but today I ordered both a fish and pork burrito. When I got home 5 minutes later both were cold. The tortilla was sticky like my burrito had been sitting out for a while. I have complained about this in the past but today's order really threw me over the edge. When I pay nearly $8 for a burrito I expect it to be freshly prepared and hot when I pick it up. I have been to multiple locations in the DFW area and I gotta say this place is the best overall. The place is cleaner and brighter, food is more consistent (taste and portion) compared to other locations, and the service is good. I have been here 3 times now. Fuzzy's is a pretty good restaurant. I like their tacos - piled high with lettuce and things but they have a good taste. My only complaint is that I think this is the only Tex-Mex restaurant in the world that doesn't have salsa. Nowhere to be found. They have a very spicy jalapeno-type hot sauce, but it's definitely not salsa. The tacos would be so good with some creamy tomatillo salsa, but oh well.
