Since moving here from San Antonio, this place has made me feel like home. Pablo the bartender keeps everybody in mind and is very respectful. The food has always been on point and never has had any issues. The environment has always felt welcoming from many locals who are here weekly. When I walked into the restaurant there were 3 workers standing at the hostess stand, I said hello I have a pickup order and they proceeded to just stare at me and say nothing. I looked around and walked over to the bar to ask for my pickup and they pointed to the shelf unit to the side. The food was okay. We ordered 3 fajita meals and each meal was all onions, zero bell peppers. They also only gave us 3 tiny salsa to-go instead of the regular large tube that is supposed to come. We hadn't been to Christina's in many years. Starting off, the server was quite absent minded. She never did bring the butter my wife asked for twice. She also forgot the tea refill. My wife got up to go ask the hostess when she finally remembered... then she brought the wrong thing. And took my wife's straw. I ordered the chicken enchiladas. They were very good andcmy wife ordered the fajitas combo and the beef was too spicy. She did have a bite of mine. Later that evening my stomach started to rebel. I was really sick to my stomach for a couple of days. My wife was only mildly impacted. All in all, not a very positive experience. read more

today had a hint of fall. A cool front moving in....Chicken tortilla soup from Cristina's came to mind. I have had it at the restaurant but since it's just me, a senior, I want to take it home. This was my first to go order there. I brought it home and I got a bag of chips and two hot sauces. it was early so I sat and ate the warm chips and sauce. the soup came in a container and there was a smaller container with two slices of avocado on top. when I added that, there was some salsa, cheese and the avocado with tortilla strips. it was heavenly! the best I've had. honestly, I couldn't finish my soup. after eating the chips and so much chicken......that will be lunch tomorrow. this is going to be a habit for me now. We went to Christina's with friends on their recommendation, for friday dinner. He really liked their salsa. The salsa was very good and the chips were plentiful. The girls asked for a round of water while us guys parked the truck. The subject of adult beverages didn't come up, but I confess that it slipped my mind although afterward. I wondered why our server didn't suggest a margarita. She did ask if I was ready to order dinner and I ordered the chicken tamales. My wife wanted the fajita chicken burritos. Our food arrived in a little while, since they weren't busy. My 3 tamales looked pretty good, but the topping didn't seem right. The tomatillo sauce was there, but the little dabs of melted cheese looked like flat whipped cream and didn't add much. The tamales were delicious and the rice was good but the beans were bland. Thankfully, salsa added a lot to the refried beans. I shared my tamales with my wife in exchange for part of her burritos. That was the real disappointment. It was topped with "chili con queso sauce" that was thin and bland. The chicken had grill marks but no seasoning. It was diced into small cubes. That made it difficult to eat because cutting the tortilla caused it to unwrap and you had to chase the little bits of chicken. It would have been better if the chicken was shreaded. I've seen replies to other reviews that ask to have problems brought to their attention while we're there, but we didn't want to fuss about it in front of our friends. The bill came and I picked up the tab for the table but thought it was odd that I wasn't given the itemized tickets. Just the bottom line charge for me to pay. read more

Went there for lunch on Cinco de Mayo. Very crowded as you might expect. Once we were seated service was excellent by Pablo. He did a great job and anticipated most everything we needed before we could even ask for it. They have a great lunch menu with lots of options. Nice and light chips with salsa to start. We also had their queso. I thought the salsa needed to have some spice as it was way too mild. Queso was just average at best. My daughter had the light lunch option with a cup of delicious broth tortilla soup, and a chicken enchilada. I had the combination Carne Asada and cheese enchilada. Me and my family eat here EVERY Monday. Cristina's has great happy hour on food and drinks from 3pm-6pm. Their food is very consistent and yummy. My favorite is their tortilla soup and the salsa and bean dip they have for their tortilla chips. Yesly is our favorite server/bartender. She is so sweet and funny. She also listens to our father's consistent jokes and sarcasm. I definitely recommend eating here during the first couple days of the week so you can eat delicious food and meet Yesly! read more

Both were very good. The refried beans and rice were both bland which I was disappointed in.
