Pretty average tacos. Great service. I had the beef tacos and the California heat taco. Of the two, I'd skip the beef and head for the California heat. Shrimp/bacon/avocado...win win. I think it's absurd that fresh salsa comes with a charge....but hey, that's just me....and it is only .30 for the smallest size....so, belly up The salsa makes a difference otherwise the tacos would be dreadfully bland. The habenero hot sauce I was SUPER disappointed, comes in one of those Taco Bell hot sauce kind of packages...ingredients are packed with preservatives, and contain corn syrup. WOW!!!!!!! AND WOW!! First off I have never heard of this place. And I dont know why. We went here one day for lunch and holly molly. First off you can get breakfast here ALL day. There tacos are super cheap and super big. As I say a bang for the buck. I got the breakfast tacos which came with potatoes, bacon, and cheese. These potatoes are real. By no means did they cheat this taco. Bacon is crispy and great and the eggs where super fluffed. Also got fish tacos which were to die for~!!! They have beer on tap if you are in that kind of mood and they also have happy hour!! And it seems as if they have the new crown black beer that they are trying! All in all I will be coming back here. Just need about 6 bucks for a full meal. Also the chips and salsa/caso are really good! read more

If you've never had Fuzzys, then you don't know what you're missing. Their tacos are not supposed to be some hole in the wall Cantina type, but their own twist with feta cheese and the best garlic sauce I've ever had. I do not like queso, actually let me rephrase that... I HATE queso. Fuzzy's queso is the only I will eat, maybe because it's white creamy cheese rather than that orange cheese whiz stuff? Either way this Fuzzys in particular has AMAZING service as well as it is very clean and taken care of... Also it doesn't hurt that it's 3 minutes away from my work. This is a restaurant I often frequent for their California Heat flour tacos and have had pretty good service until now. First off, I ordered a beer in a bottle and was denied that they didn't "do it to go", but they were able to give me a margarita in a cup to go? The comment left me confused and wondering if I di not convey a clear statement. Once I ordered it took ONE hour for me to recieve 5 shrimp tacos.The margarita I ordered to go had melted by then. When I started to walk to the counter to request a full refund, my number was called. I ordered at 7:55pm and did not receive my order until 9pm, so disheartening!! I don't know if I'll be back! I might try Taco Patron or some other restaurant first. read more

I picked up breakfast tacos for dinner my husband. He normally gets nachos but thought it wouldn't travel well. I had the Baja chicken tacos. Delicious. Have eaten here countless times. The nachos are great. Queso with chorizo is great. They have giant beers on tap plus fun frozen drinks. Maybe also mixed drinks but I'm not 100% sure. The Latin potato side is a good choice. Yummy beans(I think they're called pig something) Okay rice. Good green sauce but it's extra. Nice $1.99 tacos Combo plates are filling and around $6 or $7 I think. Very casual place. Lots of families and tv and stuff like that. Nice time. You should try it. read more

Don't bother with the Fuzzy's in Carrollton at Josey Lane and Hebron Parkway. I had a little bit of money on my way home from work this past Tuesday - 01/12/21 - and decided that I didn't want to cook. I also thought I'd patronize a smaller operator and not some big company like Taco Bell or McDonald's both of which are located across the street from the Fuzzy's in Carrollton. Well quite frankly I think I could've gotten better service and better food had I patronized either of them instead. I arrived at 4:03pm and there was an elder woman at the register ordering which is fine. But then she has to go and have a conversation about what to order with a friend she's with at a table. She proceeds to leave the girl at the register hanging along with myself and the person behind me quietly waiting. To add insult to injury the girl at the register doesn't ask the woman to make a decision, doesn't clear the order so she can begin to take mine. No, she begins to make a drink presumably for the woman having the conversation. I mean never mind I'm patiently waiting but would like to order. Never mind the person who's in line behind me. I'm a pretty mellow guy but I even asked if I needed to go somewhere else as in another establishment or if she was interested in taking my order. She never did as they felt compelled to do a change of employee and someone else took my order. So my order is now taken. I go to wait for my food.....and nothing. No one's in the kitchen, have to wait for someone to come over and they don't seem to be in much of a rush. My food is assembled, a brisket burrito, and I thought you at least got asked what kind of condiments you'd like in the burrito along with the meat. I get home and its since cooled off, which can be subjective as I did get take out, so I have to heat it up in the microwave and it had to have been some of the blandest brisket I've ever tasted. It's a real shame as I had a good spicy pork burrito just last month which is why I decided to come back. But I'm going to have to reconsider this Fuzzy's as I could've gotten better service and better food from the Taco Bell across the street and that's say'n something! read more

My boyfriend and I get various things from the menu, and every time they exceed our expectations and absolutely hit the spot. They are quick, even when they are busy. Nice staff and Best breakfast tacos around. I have been to a few locations and its never a disappointment. There isn't much to say about the chain. The tacos are awesome and they have a good variety. My favorite item on the menu are the Beef Nachos with all the fixins! Perfect place to grab a Beer or Margarita and dress casual with no pressure to dress up. Not recommended. First off, went there on a Tuesday and discovered that they don't honor or acknowledge Taco Tuesday like other Fuzzy's locations do. Took a friend there and ordered tacos to eat there. They put them in a to-go brown paper bag. Worse, they didn't even mark them. First of all, it was packed to the rafters. Who knew? Service was friendly and quick. And, with such a frantic pace in the kitchen, I was pleased to see my order came out correctly. Chips and Queso- Queso Blanco. Just okay. A little bland. Chips are dusted with I think Paprika, and chili powder. Window dressing. Tacos: All came with the same garnish. Too much iceberg lettuce. A little cotija cheese, and cilantro. Soft corn tortilla, which was unremarkable. The standout was the fried fish taco. Tempura batter. It was good. Chicken, and pork were good but nothing rave about. They kind of tasted the same. Also had the fish sandwich on a torta roll, lettuce, tomato, onion, and not enough fish. Bread was good. The rest was alright. The guacamole was good. The rice is just fine. The hot sauce on the tables is way too tame for my taste. Overall, I would give four stars for the service. But all of the food was just okay. I can get better tacos and tortas nearby to be certain. read more

We have dined here multiple times. The food is always good, and they rarely mess up our order. Smothered brisket burrito is to die for. My one complaint is that we wanted to bring our dog with us to dine on the patio, so we called ahead to ask if their patio was dog-friendly (other Fuzzy's locations do allow dogs). They said yes, so we loaded up the pup and headed over.... only to find a a big "NO PETS ALLOWED (except service animals)" sign posted out on the patio. I've been to Fuzzy's a couple times since they opened and I'm a fan so far. 1st visit - we got a variety of tacos and shared them: chicken, shredded beef, ground beef, and pork. They were all good. We also tried an order of chips and queso which was pretty decent. The "Fuzzy dust" they sprinkle on the chips I think is the seasoning equivalent of crack because I seriously looked through the bag of chips for the ones with the dust on them it was so delish. 2nd visit - we got a couple of the 2 taco plates so we could try some of the sides and a burrito. The tacos were as good as they were the first time. The burrito was pretty good (HUGE) but I think I liked the tacos better. None of the sides really rocked my socks (the potatoes were probably my fav), but none of them were terrible either (except the rice - I wasn't a fan of this at all) Being as this is super close to home I'm sure I'll be back again soon. If you like your shrimp clear with a little bit of seasoning, definitely visit this location. I just picked up my to go order and my shrimp was completely uncooked and cold. It's like they just tossed it in the seasoning, popped it in the microwave for a few seconds and boom. order is done. After much hype from friends trying the Fuzzy's in Ft Worth and College Station, I was so excited to try the Fuzzy's that just opened in Carrollton, especially since they serve breakfast tacos ALL DAY! After my first visit, I've been back 2 times within the last 2 weeks I've had all the breakfast tacos so far, the best being the chorizo, potato, egg and cheese taco. This taco has the perfect ratio of ingredients, most places put way too much egg in their breakfast tacos, Fuzzy's is meat and potato generous and doesn't overwhelm on the eggs. Not to mention this particular taco has a great smokey taste. I always get the black beans when I go, I have to admit, the black beans themselves aren't my favorite but they are still pretty good and they have a nice spicy kick to them with loads of tomoato and onion in the soupy mix. I have to say the previous reviewer mentioned he could have gotten better quality items for "half the price at some taqueria". Actually, the best tacos in Dallas (Fuel City) are priced at $1.40/taco and most taqueria's I've been to use really cheap (and by cheap I mean low grade quality) ingredients - not that they taste bad (I usually prefer these places), but not necessarially good for you either. I've had the Fuzzy's chicken baja tacos and they are great! The chicken is flavored well and there is once again the perfect ratio of ingredients. While some my not be impressed, it's important to note that Fuzzy's is known for their baja tacos and breakfast tacos - while some items on the menu might not please, go with these type of tacos and your stomach will definitely be happy. For the price, these tacos are very good - definitely better (health and taste-wise) than your local taco bell/cabana/bueno. What I also love about this place is the large party seating. It's definitely geared for the "hang-out" after school or work crowd Fuzzy's might not own to the BEST tacos out there, but when craving a good taco while out-and-about, I definitely perfer this option over my other fast-food choices read more

Ahhhhh tacos. One of the things I love about living in Dallas - tacos are everywhere. So I gave good ole fuzzy's a shot. The girl who took my order was very nice and made an excellent suggestion of the shredded chicken taco (which ended up being my favorite). I also got the shredded beef and tempura fish taco, along with some queso and chips. I really wanted a margarita (they had a patron margarita special for $4.25), but it was lunchtime on a Friday and I didn't want to look like I needed an AA meeting. Oh well, maybe next time. The queso was my favorite part of the meal. I never realized that putting fresh pico de gallo on top of queso would turn it into a heavenly experience...but mannnnn...that queso tho... The tacos were pretty decent - I have to admit, the tempura fish taco was my least favorite. I don't know why - I think it would probably had been better (and healthier) if I had gotten the grilled one instead. The one thing I disliked about the tacos - TOO MUCH LETTUCE! It would be nice if they would put the toppings on the side so that you can put as much as you like on the taco yourself. Or if the shop is trying to avoid waste - ask the customer what they would like on the taco (lettuce, tomato, cilantro, etc.). Next time I go...I'm getting a patron margarita, dammit. Probably the worst beef tacos I've had anywhere. The meat was barely warm, which I've seen in other reviews of this place. They had the order ready almost immediately after I ordered and paid, which makes me think the tacos were pre-prepared and lying on a counter in the back before they handed them to me. I did manage to eat one of the two I ordered. Aside from the lack of heat, the taste was merely "Meh". I am a fan of this type of taco shop. I loved Zuzu, for example. I'll start by saying I LOVE Fuzzys. However, this experience was not the usual. The line was CRAZY long for 1:30pm on a Sunday. There was only one girl working the front and she couldn't pour drinks so if anyone order alcohol, she had to run and find a floor guy to pour it. However, she kept smiling and apologized to everyone individually for the long wait. Apparently the kitchen was short-staffed, which happens. But they tried to rush out every order and 2 of our 3 orders were cold (the 3rd never came). We felt bad and didn't send them back but did have to request the 3rd order from the manager. He got it out hot and refunded the money. Again, I love this place but just a very disheveled Sunday for them. read more

Was pretty disgusted with the vegetarian tacos. I have no idea why my friends recommended this to me. The tacos were very soggy and had no taste what-so-ever. Sure I tried this place on a really really busy day. But I still think that's unacceptable. The taco had no taste or consistency. My sister had the shrimp tacos and she wasn't impressed either. I like Fuzzy's, but this location was a little disappointing. Weather was permitting to sit on the patio, yet it looked as if no one had bussed the tables in a long time. Surprisingly, the restaurant was not busy at all, and how that was an oversight is still unclear to me. Ordered Pork tacos and a Margarita. Tacos were good, but the Margarita tasted as if it were made for an A A meeting. I also think that there must have been a sewer issue somewhere close by because smell was not pleasant at all. It's well established that I adore Fuzzy's. This location is no different! This is the closest location to me now that I've moved to the north end of Carrollton. While I miss Addison, at least Fuzzy's is still nearby for comfort. Like all Fuzzy's locations, bring your big ass reusable Fuzzy's cup in for $1 soda refills. I keep a few in my car in case I stop in on a whim. Service here has always been great, and the food is standard Fuzzy's deliciousness. I do wish they'd do what most of the other locations have done, though: have a side of their pick-up window designated for chips/queso pick up. Especially when they're busy and I know it's going to take a little while to get my main foods, I'd like to munch on my chips and queso while I wait. Here, they tend to serve all your food at once, so no pre-meal chip and queso time. Sad face. :( read more

Ground beef is my fave. - Their breakfast tacos and burritos are also great and can be ordered any time of day. I love that they are made to order and come out piping hot. - I am a big fan of their chips and queso. - My girlfriend loves their grilled shrimp tacos, I'm allergic to shellfish so I can't say. - If your a hot sauce person, ask the kitchen for some habanero sauce.
