Not a big fan of this style of service. Other places at least bring the food. I got a veggie burrito, chips and salsa and a side of Enchilada sauce. The burrito was massive! The volume of food you get for the price is pretty good. It's very rice heavy though, like 70% was just rice. I was asked if I wanted refried beans or black beans. I wanted refried. Here's why I gave them such a low score. I made it clear to the cashier that I'm a vegetarian. I wanted a veggie option. I got the burrito thinking it's safe. The enchilada sauce had ground beef. My review is a compilation of multiple visits. I'm glad I waited to make a final determination, because my first impression wasn't all that favorable. However, after numerous visits my opinion has improved. Initially, I didn't think the food was anything special, but along the way I've found some rather tasty options. I really like their black beans (nicely seasoned) and the birria tacos are delish. I could taste the cinnamon in the broth, which was pleasing. I also enjoyed the grilled shrimp taco (very basic tortilla, though) and I like the seasoning on their chips. The margaritas, which are batch made, do pack a punch. Great value during happy hour. The bartenders are hardworking and readily available to kindly assist you. Trivia night is lots of fun. I'll admit I was surprised with how much I enjoyed Fuzzy's. Taco joints seem to be a dime a dozen, so it's nice to find one with really good food. It was also nice that it was karaoke night, so that added a bit of fun. I ordered some fried shrimp tacos, but they gave me grilled. Thankfully they were still delicious. My first meal out in 2025 and my first Yelp review of the year! Fuzzy's is not at all authentic, but it's hands-down one of my favorite spots for quick Mexican--and one of the best cheap eats still holding strong in Orlando! Everything can be made with a vegetarian filling option, and thankfully it isn't just a sad pile of beans like other places; it's an actual medley of veggies like squash, peppers, and carrots. A little win for us plant-based diners! Upon entering it wasn't full but within a few minutes it got packed. I'm glad I had put my order in right away. At Fuzzy's you have to go to the counter to place your order and then you get a buzzer, when the buzzer goes off you walk to the kitchen window to pick up your order. They have lots of seating available and we're playing average restaurant music at a normal volume, which was nice. They have lots of variations on the menu for all the proteins they provide. For an appetizer we got the Queso with Chorizo and it was really good. We ordered the QuesoBirria taco to try and it was ok, kind of dry and chewy. The Chicken Quesadilla tasted like an average quesadilla. The Carnitas Bowl was packed with a lot of meat and all the toppings tasted fresh. The Cheese Potato & egg taco was really good it was just a little dry it needed some type sauce to make it better but the potatoes were yummy. The Beef Burrito was a hefty one and filled with all the toppings which all combined together made for a flavorful burrito. Although I arrived a bit early, the food was a few minutes late, but the staff apologized for the wait. Everything was made accurately, and I was pleasantly surprised by the large serving size of the food. The chips came in an enormous bag with instructions to microwave if you wanted which was nice. I've been here a few times in the past weeks because I keep craving it !! I usually get the nachos either with brisket or pork, or sometimes I'll get a few tacos. My favorite are brisket, pork, and the breakfast tacos. I wouldn't recommend the mahi or the fried avocado. Decent taco experience but definitely underwhelming! The Drunken Pig which came with Tortilla Chips and dip itself (consisting on shreds of pork, beans, and other goodies) was quite enjoyable. The tacos on the other hand, disintegrated upon lifting them off the plate on the very first go, and this happened with all the tacos we had so the success rate was a little low. The nicest thing about it is that it has a little outdoor type bar where you can sit and enjoy a beer or a drink along with your meal. Fuzzy's models its brand along the lines of a Chipotle, Moe's or other of the casual fast restaurant type model. Unfortunately, their food offers little to no improvement on these other brand. Solid 3 stars for a decent meal. First time visiting so I may update again after my second visit. I ordered the Taco Plate which comes with 2 tacos any flavor and 2 sides. The Mahi tacos were way too fishy. I know it's fish but I've never had Mahi with such a strong flavor to it. The cilantro lime rice was good but wish that it would have been a little bit warmer. Eeeh... Well I only have one place to compare it to. Last and only Fuzzy's Taco Shop I've been to was in Dallas. Great experience! Shiner on draught with large frosty mugs there. You could smell the spices of the foods being made in that one. Absolutely great ambience as well. Place was located in a shopping strip like this one but the one here although nice did not have the same character as the one in Dallas. My food was "good". Didn't have much flavor. I got the steak bowl and my steak was undercooked. Wife had a steak taco and hers was bland as well. Sucks when you go out expecting what you've had only to drop $30 on something that I could have made better back home. Just my 2cents. For others this may be a great place. First visit to Fuzzy'sTaco Shop and I think it's ok to be the last. Starting with the positives, the restaurant is of good size with indoor and outdoor seating and the staff we interacted with were friendly and nice. We ordered Queso and chips with chorizo ($5.99). Without chorizo is $4.99. The Queso tastes like Campbells white cheese soup so it's bland and the consistency is quite liquidy. The chorizo is barely present. They may have added 1tablespoon and it added absolutely nothing to the flavor or experience. It's a bowl of "so what" and we shouldn't have wasted the calories in ordering it....but all "Mexican" style restaurants are judged by the quality of their Queso. The chips that were served with it were seasoned and very good. For entrees we ordered Enchilada Plate ($8.99) and we chose cheese enchiladas with green (verde) sauce. This was as "gringo" as it could be as the cheese inside wasn't even on the start of melted. The green sauce was not exciting at all. We ordered sides of refried beans and Fuzzy's rice. The refried beans were tasty and while the rice was moist and not at all dried out, it was overly spicy. Since we mix our beans and rice, this left it not edible. Since it is Taco Tuesday we also ordered three ground beef tacos with flour tortillas (tacos $1.99 each). The tacos were tasty. We also ordered a margarita on the rocks with salt which was premixed. When you think of Fuzzy's Tacos, don't think of an actually Fuzzy Taco (my mind can wander there), but think of it as a decent taco shop with lots of options that should please anyone. They have appetizers, burritos, salads, bowls, quesadillas, platters (including fajita), and of course, tacos! They have plenty of protein options such as chicken, brisket, ground beef, shrimp (grilled or fried), fish (grilled or fried) , pork. I think I saw one Veggie option so it's kind of limited if you're doing plant-based. What they lack is variety of what goes on a taco. It's basically lettuce, tomato, cheese (feta and shredded), and garlic sauce. It's all the same regardless of the protein. Sure, they have some specialty tacos, but some variety like a slaw for the fish tacos would be nice. Prices are decent, but it may take a few bucks to fill up a big eater (at least with tacos). They used to have events and stuff here (trivia, etc.) but I haven't seen anything here lately (nor have I looked). With a lack of Mexican spots in East Orlando, this is worthy of a stop if you crave tacos, but I wouldn't drive from anywhere far away just to eat here. read more

We stopped by on Taco Tuesday and they had selected $1.5 tacos and $4 margaritas specials. We decided to try: Carnitas Tacos, Shredded Chicken Tacos and Fajita Beef Tacos. All very good. The line to order took a bit but not too bad. Just weird since once you're by the door you're just in the way of the entrance or tables. They had a DJ which is cool but it was loud enough that it made us want to sit out side to be able to have conversations but if you're going alone or to just jam while you eat then inside is the way to go. I first tried Fuzzy's a few years ago my freshman year of college. It has definitely been a go to place for good Taco Tuesday deals! I will say that it gets pretty packed and busy most Tuesday nights. I recently brought my sister here to enjoy some $1.75 tacos on Taco Tuesday. We tried a shredded chicken, spicy pork, and ground beef taco on corn tortillas. We also ordered one tempura fish taco even though it's not included in the Taco Tuesday deal. We got a mango and strawberry marg but just missed their happy hour. I like their hot sauce that's available on the tables (I use Fuzzy's Butt Burnin' mild hot sauce with my tacos to add more flavor). Fuzzy's is counter service so we ordered and waited until our coaster pager beeped, indicating our food was ready to be picked up. At the end we wanted dessert so we got the churros. The churros were good, but the chocolate sauce that comes with it literally tastes like it came from a Hershey's ice cream chocolate sauce bottle. Overall, from my experiences at Fuzzy's, their food is good quality for decent prices! They're also open pretty late (from 11 pm to 12 am) and it's been my saving grace for late night eats when the only other options were fast food restaurants! read more

Was looking for late night food.. around 12 am and stumbled upon this place. One of few places open around me and looked good. So I ordered Chicken Fajitas plate and this was not a disappointment. The portion was great, came with so much chicken, which was really good! Came with a good amount of guacamole, sour cream and lettuce(pico could've been more). Onions and peppers were fantastic, but wish it came with more of them. Sides I got were pretty good, obviously I ordered takeout so potatoes were little soft but flavor wise, it was there. Rice was surprising, didn't look good at first but was actually really good. It was soft, consistency of it great, and just overall really good rice! Lordy, I hate leaving reviews like this but I have to be honest. The good: the restaurant is large and has a nice sized, full bar. Very much a T-flats vibe, but that's where the similarities stop. The happy hour is great- got a frozen margarita and it was pretty good so I gave an extra star. The bad: ordered the combo plate with a cheese enchilada, carnitas taco, retired beans and rice. Also got chips and queso and a side of salsa. The chips and salsa were the best part. Everything, and I mean everything, was cold. My cheese enchilada had still shredded COLD cheese in the middle. The carnitas taco was also cold and the pork was so so so dry. The refried beans were your average canned beans. The white queso was, while also cold, bizarre. The texture was thin and the only flavor was the pico they dumped in at the end. They seem to use the same 3-4 ingredients on everything. 75% of my food sadly, ended up in the trash. I'd liken the food quality to Taco Bell or a frozen meal. I'm sure the draw is the price point for UCF students but geez, even they deserve better. read more

I rarely ever stop to write a review about a restaurant, but today's experience compelled me to write this. Let me be frank: the food from this chain isn't actually half bad. I'd consider recommending another one of their locations if you're looking for an ever-so-slightly higher quality version of other local fast food chains in the same category. My concern with this particular location is the mediocre, inexperienced staff. How the food is prepared is a complete gamble, and the employees don't care. Once when I ordered a quesadilla, I expressed my concern that the last time I ordered it, it wasn't sliced at all, and requested they do so this time, and the young girl said "Ok, thanks, but you need to understand we're really busy right now, especially because everyone is ordering margaritas, so I can try to let the chefs now but I can't make any promises to you." Thanks for the rational and understanding response. I'm going to let that slide. Then I order another quesadilla a week later for delivery. I bit into it and something stabbed my gums and caused intense bleeding. I spit the object out thinking it was a bone, only to realize it was a staple. THERE WAS A STAPLE IN MY QUESADILLA. This is one of my favorite places to eat which is why I come almost every week for dinner or a quick bite. I absolutely love the spicy pork quesadillas. They put this simple, but flavorful garlic sauce on it that really tops it off. My boyfriend's favorite choice is the brisket burrito bowl. He's cutting back on carbs so rather than getting rice and beans he substitutes with fajita vegetables instead. The fact that we can modify and adjust the food to our liking is nice because unless you're getting extra meat there usually isn't an additional charge. The only reason why I'm not giving this location 5 stars is because sometimes when you walk in there might not be anyone at the counter right away to greet you. I understand the staff may need to step away for a moment, but there have been times that other employees look right at you and don't greet you or say anything. Perhaps it's because they're at the bar or on the floor rather than behind the register, but for customer service purposes a quick "hello" or "welcome" goes a long way. It doesn't happen all the time (or else I wouldn't keep coming back), but that's the only thing hindering my rating. Overall though, the food is great and always comes fresh to order. We had the quesadillas, enchiladas, and a taco with a side of lime rice and black beans. The habanero hot sauce is pretty good as well without being over the top. Everything tasted good except the quesadilla was unevenly constructed and the rice was luke warm. Did I leave stuffed? Yes. Did we throw away a bunch of old we couldn't finish? Yes. With the two taco dinner you get a choice of two sides. So I decided to try their "Mix-Mex fried rice" and "Latin fried potatoes". Everything was good but not necessarily great.
